Red Gem 1
A red gem is a pickup event in jazz jackrabbit 2. If you collect 100 gems, you will get an extra live. There are 4 kinds of gems: Red Gem (counts 1 red gem), Green Gem (counts 5 red gems), Blue Gem (counts 10 red gems) and Purple Gem (counts ? red gems (I don’t know how many a purple gem counts. If you know it, please fill in))
There are different ways to place a gem in JCS:
(Path: Pickups -> Gems)
Select “Red Gem +1” for a single red gem.
Select “Super Red Gem” for a giant red gem. You can’t collect it, but if you shoot it, it will explode and 10 single red gems will appear.
Select “Gem Barrel” for a barrel. Enter a numer between 0 and 15 to
select how many gems of a kind will be in the barrel.
Select “Gem Crate” for a Crate. It works like a barrel.
Select “Gem Ring” for a ring of 8 red gems.
Select “Invisible Gem Stomp” to create something special: put this
event on a bottom tile. If you Stomp this tile, a random number of red gems will appear.
