Wow! mirrow’s “dinner” is a pretty cool battle level built in a very underused tileset (TSF’s “Haunted House”). I really like the layer work! It has all kinds of of original ideas on how to use the tileset (flying bats, a creeping plant, living chains etc.). The overall design (esspecially the weapon placement) is also very good (could be a bit more circular though). And the music fits perfectly.
Germany: 7.5 points :-) I can really RECOMMEND THiS LEVEL for DOWNLOAD.

a very nice lvl.
it features some original ideas ( i like the growing vines). the water background was kinda kool, as it doesnt slow down gameplay like normal water.
but the lvl is very confusing, with overheading layers which look exactly the same, and springs that were placed in small paths.
music was kinda nice..but a bit boring for a battle lvl in my opinion (dont take it too hard)
overall a 6.7, and a d/l reccomandation
The level indeed looks nice and features a lot of interesting layerwork, but the layerwork takes away visibility and movement possibilities, which makes it harder to do actual battle in this level and battle is what its made for…
The music is nice, but the name of this music always reminds me of the Bugworld screensaver (playable, if you find it then get it, it rocks).

I guess Newspaz told everything. It has no playfeeling and the eyecandy could be much better. Though this tileset is hard to use there are lot’s of examples like Fright Night CTF and some standard TSF lvls.
If u like to play underused tilesets u could give it a try. But if exactly the same lvl would be build with an overused tileset I guess it would be worse. The conclusion I get from this is that the tileset makes the lvl instead of the gameplay.
5.7 looks good enuf.

Hm. VERY weird layout, but cool. The weapons selection is good, and the music rox. I don’t like Haunted house too much, but i really like this level. Weird layers, kool ideas, great weapon placement, kool. And, Stunts, the tileset don’t make the rating. I don’t like the tileset, but I love the level. So, this is a DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDATION.

‘Dinner’ is a pretty good litle battle level by our old friend mirrow. The level shows a weird, sorta bizzar, but ‘diferent’ way to use the ‘Haunted house’ tileset from TSF. The whole levels design is pretty good, with a few dead ends, but thats not to much of a pitty. It has some pretty nice ideas, like a living vine, poping up and down out of the ground, that bat from the top of the clocktower flying acros the screen, and stuff like that. The eycandy is good, ‘diferent’ like i lready said:D. The ammo placement is good too, pretty well balenced. I only cant realy understand why this was called ‘dinner’. Explain:P. Overall, a 7.7 and a download recomendation.
actually the tileset does influence the ratings, as it is way underused :) oh wait i already gave a rating
