Spider Swamp v1.0 (c) 2002 defalcon Level by defalcon Zip Contents: defswamp.j2l - The level SwampsD.j2t - The Tileset HGH-WILL.XM - The Music, Highland Willows (it ru><0rs) SpiderSwamp.txt - The HELLA-long readme file (I don't leave stuff out xD) Description: A moderately large, swampy battle level. Might be suitable for team battles, well suited to huge roast-fests (obviously). There's 2-3 carrots tossed in somewhere. Designed for both Jazz and Spaz (Lori to an exent), but obviously Spaz will have a greater movement advantage due to his double jump being the best thing since sliced pie. History: I started this level maybe 1-2 weeks after the release of Gemstone Warfare (In January. Woah), so basically this took me a while. I worked on it every now and then, yadada, but finally, it is done. Basically, it's a Battle level, using the Swamps Day tileset by Agama (you rule!). Not *quite* as confusing as my last, although larger, at 121x60 tiles. Though not filled with confusing layerwork, the eyecandy hopefully won't disappoint. ;) There are no shields, a few powerups and so on. Play with 4 people or more for the most fun. And anyone who complains about the v-poles; tooo baad, they're staying. If there are any serious bugs I will most likely address them in an update. *NOTE* This level, while still acceptable in low detail, should be played in high detail. This is because the level uses 8 out of 8layers (as many as my last) and low detail cuts them out, making the level look somewhat more bare - crappy if you wanna talk specifics. Play it in HIGH detail! And 16-bit colour, I have some transparencies, people! ;) Thank Heavens For: CelL the Kangaroo (bwahaha): Thankyou CelLman for fixing my background. Thank you sooo much. ;P Also suggested the music file, which Ru><0rS my b0><oR5. Magoo - Saw this level when it was being made, helped me with platform placement and eyecandy advice. Krezack - Quote: "You're STILL working on that level?!" 'Nuff said ;) Disguisey Wisey "I'm just ASKING for a mail bomb": Eyecandy help. For that, (actually, for patronising me) he recieves a mailbomb. ;P Also, weapon placement - thankee fer that. FoD - Well, I started the level before he left. I'm that slow. He sorta looked at it fer me ;p He also reviewed a late beta version too. Phoenix "Queen Spam" Wing: Level tester. :) And provider of the music I played while making this level. Skulg: Also tried the level, I think. Thankee Skulggeh! :D EvilMike: Thanks for the looksee. :) Derby: Alot of constructive criticism that helped me improve it. :) RedX_III: Tester, and daily 'Ya Busy?" Person ;) RagE: Tester, fixed up bad spring placement on my part. =P BTW, I didn't remove the poles, sorry. Splash: Another tester. Thanks for spotting those text events....forgot to remove those. =P Thankee all the people who helped me with this in even a minor way. Also, thank you the postal service for delivering my *ahem* 'package' to Disguise...;) (c) 2002 defalcon Other Levels by defalcon: Gemstone Warfare This level is not to be modified in any way or used without permission of the author.
