OOOOO LLL CCCCCCCCC OOOOOOOOO LLL CCCCC CCCC OOOO OOOO LLL CCCCC CCCC OOOO OOOO LLL CCCCC OOOO OOOO LLL CCCCC OOOO OOOO LLL CCCCC CCCC OOOOOOOOO LLLLLLLLL CCCCC CCCC OOOOOOO LLLLLLLLL CCCCCCCCCC --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----- Copyright 2003 Blackraptor --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----- History Notes: A level made for a dead OLC pack in Fall '03 (approx. finish date Oct 11 2003). Left for dead, until I decided to upload this. I havent looked over it all that much since its finished date back a year and a half ago or something. I hope you people still enjoy this as much as you did back then ;d. Jazz Team Fortress: Basically, in a nutshell, its like CTF except with "classes." Sorta like the classes in Assasination. You choose a class, it gives you special benefits and limitations, and when you die you can repick your class. Ex. Class: Defender Benefits: RF Powerup + Max ammo Limitations: Can only have access to 2/3rds of the field (your respective base and the central area) That's an example of a JTF class. Controlling: The control works very simply in the JTF in this level. The host starts default as blue. S/he goes into the room on the right of the starting room and hits the first crate, which closes the passage in so noone else can get in*. When all the players are in position, or otherwise when the host feels like it, they can hit the second crate (the one furthest right) to open the slots and commence. If the host wishes to play, s/he can jump into the little hole on the very right of the room to be warped back into the slot room and choose a class. * Once the room is closed, there is no reopening it. I don't see why you would need to close all slots and then reopen them. Classes in the game: Mage: Benefits: Bouncer PU + Access to all 3 sectors. Limitations: Dungeon access denied. Base Protector: Benefits: RF, Bouncer, Toaster and Blaster powerup Limitations: Access to only 1 sector (their own tower), no Dungeon access, partial powerup ammo. Warrior: Benefits: Seeker powerup + Access to all 3 sectors Limitations: No Dungeon Access. Defender: Benefits: RF powerup Limitations: Access to 2 sectors (Their own tower and the central area), no Dungeon Access Dungeon Keeper: Benefits: Toaster Powerup, Access to DUNGEON Limitations: Access to Central Area Denied, Access to Top of Fortress + Turret Denied. Known Bugs: Like in many assasination games lag can cause the powerups not to spawn, but unfortunately there is nothing I can do as a levelmaker to really prevent that so =\. And finally, enjoy! or dont. D=
