well here is my review!!!
Eyecandy:
Basic!!! Well in all the levels the eyecandy is okay no tilebugs but it could be better. Oh no what do i see in the oasis level you forgot to make the wall complete a hole in the wall.
And oh no again in the final level to
the wall is really ugly if those ugly
thing where good i would give this episode a lot higher.
Enemy placement:
Good!!! The enemy placement is great because there are not to much enemies but really enough to keep the levels fun and all the enemies fit in the levels.
Item placement:
Good!!! There is ammo food gems coins powerups and more.
Other:
Okay!!!The levels could be longer but it is not to short. The musics fits in the levels and there is enough to do in the episode.
Well it is good but not so high because of the eyecandy problem but still a !!6.5!!
i can`t play it on both versions!!!
Jungle Party? Well I don’t know if “Party” really fits
Well, here’s my review =p
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The gameplay isn’t too much original, you just jump around and shoot some monkeys. There are a few secrets but they are bad designed at all.
PROS: nothing great to mention
CONS: Boring, too short, bad secrets
RATING: 1.2
TILESET/TILESET USE:
The tileset the author used was the jungle thingy from epic. I like that tileset but I don’t like the way the author used it. The background is bad and the foreground wasn’t used very good. Look at level ‘Thriller Gorilla’ and look how Mr Bleszinski made the thingy with the trees, Litenante. I also saw some minor tile bugs.
PROS: okay tileset use (+0.3)
CONS: bad eyecandy (-0.3), foreground layers are used wrong, doesn’t look like a jungle
RATING: 1.2
WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
The weapon placement wasn’t bad, item placement was. What about coins or gems? Also there has to be MORE food. Man, you are in a jungle, right? The enemy placement was…hm…..okay. The author only used one enemy, the monkey. That’s bad. Good thing is that the monkeys are okay placed I think. Again a bad thing is that there is no easy/normal/hard setting. Set more food on easy mode and more baddys on hard!
PROS: okay enemy/ammo placement (+0.5)
CONS: no easy/normal/hard settings
(-0.2), too less items (-0.3)
RATING: 1.2
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
I don’t feel like replaying this, most because it’s too short and easy. There isn’t really fun and we can’t talk about originality. Bad
PROS: Nothing to mention
CONS: no replay value, no fun factor, no originality
RATING: 1.2
OVERALL (not an average):
Overall it’s (sorry) very bad. It has no eyecandy, isn’t original, too easy and don’t makes fun. Sorry, but this was bad. Practise much more before you upload a level. I will give +1.0 for effort.
PROS: okay ammo placement (+0.3)
CONS: Look up (-0.3)

Here I got some tips from Jazz2 Level Designer Cliff Bleszinksi. You can also read them in the JCS faq.
1. Look Out Below!
Never let people fall on enemies they can’t see below them.
2. Make ‘em Work!
Make people jump for items, or shoot crates. A little bit of effort should be required to collect stuff instead of just running through it.
3. ARGH!!!!
Set up cool situations where you get bounced all around and you can’t control where you’re going. This is both wacky and fun.
4. Let Them Live!
Never teach the player how to play by killing them. Always give the player a chance to figure things out without dying.
5. SHOOT THE BLOCKS!
Destroyable scenery is your friend. People seem to love shooting those exploadable cubes, and you can set
up great puzzles with ammo-based blocks.
6. What Do I Do?!?
Leave clues to most secrets. If you have a butt stomp gem secret put it between two decorative tiles so people just might try stomping there. Otherwise no-one will find you secrets!
7. Keep the Party Going!
For Party Mode levels, make sure and keep the level “circular”. That is, a player can easily zip around anywhere in the level without encountering any dead ends and having to backtrack.
8. USE VARIETY!
Alternate the scenery! Don’t keep the player entirely inside or outside, use a nice variety of all types of scenery in the tileset.
9. I Can’t See!
Dramatic lighting is great, but don’t leave the player in a dark area without a clue as to where to go. This is frustrating!
10. TEST YOUR LEVELS!
Playtest your levels, and have others playtest them! Sit someone down, have them play through your level, and don’t tell them anything. You’ll be surprised by the results.
Also look at the article “Creating singleplayer episodes” from Ninja Dodo.
So there’s nothing more I can do for you.

Edit NR1: Which error Labratkid? I had no problems to run this and the tileset is the standard jungle thingy, why should there be an error?[This review has been edited by PHT]
Wow! I had quite some fun playing this level. You used the tileset fairly well, but usage still could’ve been better. The variety of enemies did get a little boring, and weren’t placed too bad. I didn’t expect the Water bit at all but it was actually kinda fun. Placement wasn’t too bad.
Overall, it’s a pretty good level. :)
Very, heavily overrated. Although I could see how the author put quite some effort into this level, but I dislike layer 2! It really hurts my eyes (my eyes… my beautiful eyes!). The eyecandy wasn’t too bad, but could be a little better. The enemy placement was fairly good, but the selection wasn’t at all. Bees in hell? Now I’ve seen everything!
Both the levels seemed practically the same, but overall, it’s not bad at all. Good job. :)
gah! pink kills! eep! dies JK btw nice tileset, me luvz!
Wow! It’s just looking like the original game! Well done, Newspaz!
I love C.KEEN, so I give an 9!
YES! You bulded an tileset of C.KEEN4!
I love C.KEEN! And it just looking like the REAL game! Well done, Talec!
And becouse it’s so great, I give an 8.7!
(Rendered useless by the server list changes. I had to change the .exe)
It doesn’t compare to Jazz Force, even the old xjj2. All you can do is list servers and grab some information from the server.
No character editing, no server listing, no server joining. The splash screen thing is irritating and one cannot use the program until it goes away. Then I have to click List and wait. This is not good. I want a program that launchs as fast as possible and immediately list the servers.
The options dialog is not prepared for a high DPI setting…
What size is this? 1MB? plus the images which should be embebed in the exe file.
As a bonus it cannot handle 1.21 s, 1.24 s and 1.24 x servers.
The reason I’m not giving this a 1 is because it might, if you merely want to grab some information about a server, might be as useful as other multiplayer launchers like JazzTool, Jazz Force and others.
Martijn you foo, it isn’t much good to receive a 10!
Eyecandy has many flaws, especially moment with trigger crate room. Spend more time on your leels PHT.
Gameplay… sorry I don’t know what is it Ground Force :P
Some moments were really annoying, when above big wall, you can’t shoot in some positions. It sucks.
Overall – it isn’t a good level PHT. It is a average level. Although Dam.. Darn Nation is underused tileset and hard to build, and i like the music. You can made better levels (I think)

well here is my review!!!
Eyecandy:
Basic!!! The eyecandy was not really good but also not bad. There where some tilebugs.
Enemy placement:
Okay!!! It was not really great but bad no. There are a lot of enemies but not to much.
Item placement:
Fine!!! There is one type of ammo with a powerup and a lot of food.
Other:
Okay!!! i didn`t had the problem with that water because i play on 16 bit.
threre is a lot to do but it could be better.
Here a 7
Heating up is a very simply level by Snotticus. There are no kind of story line, quests, or special adds to the level. It’s just a common “find the exit” level type.
EYECANDY:
Poor. Too much of the level is left open with only the background layers to fill it up. The athour didn’t centrainly think very creative either, all eyecandy who are in the level are just copyed and pastered from the tileset.
GAMEPLAY:
If you can find a word descriping both boring and and time waste, that’s it for the gameplay. It’s just “folow the road”, pick off enemies underway and pick up gold coins. There’s really no suprise in the level, no challenge. The only challenge is the end boss who appear to be bissly fighting you in a very narrow room. Folowed by a “SMOKIN’ =D” (?), you’ll win the level with ease.
EVENT PLACEMENT:
Awful. The chance of getting hurt is upon the spikes, the enemies are simply too foolish placed to harm you. The food and goodies are also very easy to pickup underway, and dosen’t force you to explore the area for collect it all. The gold coin people missed is located at position 92,13, which is inside a wall covered by layer 3 mask, nearly impossible to find without any hints.
Overall:
Below average. You need to practice more with JCS. Download some single player levels with the mark tip and watch how they set up their levels with eyecandy and enemies. You should also try put more originality into the level, instead of the common find exit.
Download not recommed.
:-/ My computer don’t know think about “.php” where can I download that program?
censored thnx for review but nobody do review this :S
ooooh! it’s beatiful! i mean EMPTY :S
Here’s a review by me, so here it goes:
Masked Tiles:
It was put in real good, but a bit bad in some places. Putting the masked tile on the star background was a good option (If ya wanna put the sucker tube thing like in RHB).
But the strange thing was about the Quick Sand, other than that.
Rating: 7.2
Tiles:
Real good, ya even put Tomator on it, the enemies, the vikings. The bomb, the house, almost everything! But except, a few more Tomator animations would be a little better (If ya have TSF, than you’ll be probably ready for a BIGGER tileset! :D)
Rating: 10
Layers:
Not much there, it was a good try since The Lost Vikings game doesn’t have much layers. Minus the count you didn’t use the real space background from the Lost Vikings game (the one when your in Tomator’s space ship)
Animations: Making them is quite good, but it would’ve been better if you added more running or walking anims for the Lost Vikings and some more of Tomator, and his attack and teleporting.
Also for SOME enemies, the bottom part where the blue and white dots just made my eyes go: _
So don’t try that please..
Rating: 7.5 (cause of the tiles meantioned above, about the blue and white dots thing)
Background: Not much there, the space background is a good touch, but there also could’ve been one more, the one about the space background when your in Tomator’s ship.
Rating: 8.7
Overall: You got a 9.7. from me, can’t wait probably for the next The Lost Vikings Tileset, if it’s gonna come
