Both. People decided it'd be best to have Gargoyles for outside and inside.

Jerrythabest Mar 9, 2006 08:32 AM

gr8, now let's get some water and fog and, of course, some gr8 trees as they look like in forests:P i've been trying to get some fog but it looked bah

White Rabbit Mar 9, 2006 09:25 AM

Crimi, those purple spikes you drew, but you could put those little stars right on top of the spikes (like in HH98), otherwise people would have to use a foreground layer to use them. Also, don't forget horizontal spikes.

blurredd Mar 9, 2006 09:30 AM

This will be interesting trying to get all those tiles in plus all the tiles I'm working on.

Jerrythabest Mar 11, 2006 03:50 AM

are we near 1024 tiles already?

Jerrythabest Mar 11, 2006 05:42 AM

that was a serous question, (PA) go and die a painful death sir

[Personal attack edit - FQuist]

n00b Mar 11, 2006 05:50 AM

So was that. (PA) you (-) and (PA) dont forget to (PA ABOUT DIEING)
Couldn't you find Blur's tileset. Add in any tiles since that time and then divide the height by 32? Then divide the width by 32. Multiply the two answers you got, and then theres the answer to your question.
C'mon man, thats like 4th grade math skills. Tops. Plus you can use a calculator.

Jerrythabest Mar 11, 2006 05:53 AM

(very pa-ish.. I rmoved it) calculators are for ppl that need them XD

n00b Mar 11, 2006 05:58 AM

Which apparently you do need, since you couldn't find out a simple algorithim to answer your question.

Jerrythabest Mar 11, 2006 06:01 AM

first clearify what tiles are in, what are not yet it, what are removed, what are never put in and how many tiles blur is making:P now shut up I am really (-) off now

Useless blame #007

n00b Mar 11, 2006 06:10 AM

You could have found all of that by looking at the past few pages. Since Blur is not done with his Tiles, they are not in the tileset yet.

Jeez, do I have to explain all of this to you? Any tile posted is in the tileset unless removed(Due to a better version(Ala the tiled ground)/ voted out)
So from Blur's version, add in the Green Gargoyles, remove all the tiles recently voted out, and add in any new tiles someone has posted since Blur posted his current version of the Tileset.
Cmon man, use some logic here.

Odin Mar 11, 2006 07:21 PM

Jerry, n00b, break it up. I don't want to see this (-) tonight.

n00b Mar 11, 2006 07:43 PM

It's been broken up for about the past ten hours.
Good day sir.

Good day sir.

In this case, ten hours is just one forum post when converted to INTERNET TIME.

Thank nighttime for that
lets get ontopic again I hate this blaming ;-)

cooba Mar 13, 2006 10:33 AM

Hey guys, tomorrow is the last day to make stuff, so do something more constructive than spamming this thread ;)

Jerrythabest Mar 13, 2006 10:35 AM

like spamming WITH threads on a randomly chosen forum category? XD

Well, since my fog didnt really turn out that good, and I dont know what to make then, I just say bye here, if theres nothing to happen

blurredd Mar 13, 2006 04:12 PM

Current progress...

This is all I got for now. I need a break.

Birdie Mar 13, 2006 04:18 PM

Nice job on the cave tiles, although i do want Cooba's horizontal rain too.

Risp_old Mar 13, 2006 05:12 PM

I kind of shamed myself into doing a bit more. Expect an update in a bit. I've working on a fog thing right now.

http://www.chaos.foxmage.com/tilesetx.png
The fog is meant to be transparent, perhaps moving. I'm not sure how well it came out. I suppose we'll see once someone tries compiling and testing.

Some other parts require more explanation. The thing under the rain is the thunder tile, for whatever thunder animation you need. Don't ask me why I made it minutely light blue/white striped.
The slightly off-black tiles are meant to be areas of darkness. You know how some tilesets have tiles for rays of light, to be made transparent and put in layer 3 for when you want a shaft of light entering a cave? I decided to experiment here and see if the opposite could be done- all of the cave except for the rays of light could be covered in transparent blackened tiles. If you think it won't work, you could just turn the things in to generic rays of light, I don't care.

Odin Mar 13, 2006 07:18 PM

ok that is way too huge, this will not be a 1.24 tileset.

blurredd Mar 13, 2006 08:11 PM

I was trying not to post the entire tileset image directly here to decrease loading time a bit, but oh well.

Anyway, more progress....

Risp_old Mar 14, 2006 03:42 AM

Oh, sorry.

FQuist Mar 14, 2006 05:03 AM

Voila

Jerrythabest Mar 14, 2006 07:43 AM

I don't :(.

Jerrythabest Mar 14, 2006 08:44 AM

you dont like your own tiles?

Odin Mar 14, 2006 11:58 AM

Uh, sometimes artists don't like their work. This usually happens.

n00b Mar 14, 2006 01:49 PM

Made a custom Bonus Booth. Feel free to cut out the animation and leave the first frame if th animation ends up taking to much space. Also I'm aware JCS cannot support 666 coins, thats the point.

Fawriel Mar 14, 2006 02:37 PM

..I hate to say this, but that neither fits in, nor fits inside anymore.

n00b Mar 14, 2006 03:04 PM

I only had one day. If you can squeeze out a knight thats animated and fits in, then you can go off and do it.

Odin Mar 14, 2006 04:44 PM

I love the knight animation. I'd like the sword to sparkle though while raised, with that sparkle animation. You know what I mean. That'd be a cool mod for JSD.

cooba Mar 15, 2006 11:07 AM

(I am somehow late with this post I know)

Well... February (and the two additional weeks) is over. It's 8 PM, March 15th. Our tileset is all drawn and ready to be organized and masked and compiled by some friendly person or persons Other Than Myself. That person/s, incidentally, gets permission to fix any major errors, but not to add any actual new tiles.

...alright. Post your volunteers to help with masking/organising (though it could be unnecessary since the latest .png's tile order is pretty handy anyway)/paletting here and just here. Also, remember to volunteer ONLY if you have the time to work on your desired part of the tileset.

Birdie Mar 15, 2006 03:05 PM

Thanks for adding Coob's rain :D

blurredd Mar 15, 2006 09:21 PM

I wanted to add a few more tiles and edit several others, but I guess I can only do so much (too bad for no torches). Anyway, I might as well make the palette since I practically made it already.

Quite a pity that they were included after I stated that I don't want them in.

Grytolle Mar 16, 2006 07:49 AM

That's not entirely up to you though ;o

Jerrythabest Mar 16, 2006 09:06 AM

2-day vote plz:P when there will be a vote, I vote in:P
