I find it extremely odd that the only thing you have ever done in this thread is complain about the tileset's time. Clearly the impossible idea of actually helping out and helping to speed up the progress hasn't crossed your mind; instead you simply whine about it never being released. Either help out, give constructive criticism, or don't post at all.

CrimiClown Jan 3, 2006 01:55 PM

The ironic part is, that it has been... =\

Maybe that's because it takes less than a month to finish compiling a tileset!

It has, but nobody ever takes kindly to my help. (Which I learned in september.) That is, while dealing with tilesets.

I only posted like, 3 times in the whole thread. And again, there's no way it should take this long!

About what? A tileset not yet released on J2O?

or don't post at all.
What do you think I've been doing? Posting? If the tileset is done, there should be a little link in the first post.

Also, I DON'T GIVE A (-) ABOUT AN EXAMPLE LEVEL. Why don't you just release the example as a single level and get this thing over with.

cooba Jan 3, 2006 03:01 PM

The official "why so long" ranting period has ended a while ago so do everyone a favor and be quiet.

Obviously since you want a little link in the first post it's a great idea to say that it OUGHT to be there or the whole concept of universe's balance breaks! :( oh noes

The picture was funny once.

You obviously don't go on many game development forums because when somethings done, the author or organizers puts that in the first post. That wayreaders know and don't have to scour though (at this point 14 pages) to find the finished version! But if you want to be disorganized I can't stop you. Now that is all I want to say unless somebody has a good reason why it shouldn't be on the first page when it's done.

n00b Jan 3, 2006 03:22 PM

Zapper, you should take the image's advice and shut up, and wait. People will hate you less, and you'll make less mistakes, and I'll stop posting it.
The first post was made by Violet, since then the project has been put into Crimi's hands who doesn't even have a post on the first page. If you actually read people's posts and not be such a n00b at fourms, you would have found the link anyways.

Fawriel Jan 3, 2006 03:22 PM

He has a point, actually.

When the tileset is done, it will be uploaded to J2O. Simple as that.

ShadeJackrabbit Jan 3, 2006 03:34 PM

Again, sensability is though of as sux, and so am I. If I said something like: This whole forum are/is (something)! would it get PA'd? And also, why are you so quick to attack me! I have done nothing wrong. As I would like to say right now:
"Well EXCUUUUUSE me, for being sensible!"
And why does everybody fight me for being serious at times? GRR!!! WHY DOES IT ALWAYS GET DOWN TO ME SAYING THIS IF I POST ANYTHING THAT ISN'T: "Omg! This is so awesome! It rocks so (-) much!!!!" Stop attacking me because I'm smart and sensible!!!! ARGHH!!!! *runs screaming from the room*
Sorry. I'm calmed down now. Yet would YOU guys at least think before YOU post? For crying out loud! You don't even give me a reason to "Shut up and wait."

EDIT: Oh.. oh okay. Somebody posted before me... and followed common sense... okay... bye.

Doubble Dutch Jan 3, 2006 03:40 PM

You DO have a point.

n00b Jan 3, 2006 03:45 PM

Dear ZAPPER:
If you're so smart and sensible why didn't you read the thread, find out why it couldn't be on the first page, find the link to the tileset from Crimi, and averted this whole thing?

You're right, I should have.

in the 14 pages.

If I were t spend the time, I would've, but let me tell you this: Crimiclown should have then contacted somebody on the first page and told them to put in the link. I see your reasoning, and why you're angry, but you must understand one thing about me first: I have over-organised My Documents, and I like things organized. And just because I happen to feel a bit... annoyed with the untideness here, It's not going to prevent me speaking my mind. So please don't bite my head off for it.

Also, this more importantly, I'm sorry for snapping at Odin, Fawriel, n00b, and CrimiClown. I hope you can forgive me, I'm just very stressed out.

Violet CLM Jan 3, 2006 04:06 PM

I am sorry I didn't realize I should do this. Everyone should be happy that there is now a link in the first post.

ShadeJackrabbit Jan 3, 2006 04:15 PM

Thank you. And again, sorry for the burst-out.
EDIT: Link doesn't work. Goes to some weird page.

Odin Jan 3, 2006 04:21 PM

Of course it works.

n00b Jan 3, 2006 04:23 PM

It worked for me

Odin Jan 3, 2006 07:07 PM

See?

cooba Jan 4, 2006 06:33 AM

...;).

Pako Jan 4, 2006 07:12 AM

The link DOES work. Why you complain? Oh, yes, its because it goes to http://www.infallibull.com/, wich doesnt have nothing to do with the Kansas tileset...
EDIT: Oooohh, i found the ANOTHER button, with leads to Kansas tileset...

cooba Jan 4, 2006 07:25 AM

...I love your ignorance ;).

ShadeJackrabbit Jan 4, 2006 07:51 AM

And I love your attitude... anyways, where is this "Another" button, that lead to the tileset?

CrimiClown Jan 4, 2006 10:27 AM

omg omg omg ZAPPER click this NOW and be happy and shut the hell up or I will seriously stab you with your own bloody scissors!

CrimiClown Jan 4, 2006 11:14 AM

Do you know how many people are stuck with jj2 1.23 and are unable to play as Lori?!

Fawriel Jan 4, 2006 01:12 PM

He said 'here is a link.' He never said what it was a link TO. You have got to admit, if it sends you to another website it must be a working link.

Oh and faw, if you were being sarcastic, you can shut the (-) up too.

Fawriel Jan 4, 2006 03:35 PM

Hmm, I wasn't. Unfortunately, peer pressure made me add a =P to make it sound less serious. Peer pressure is stupid.
