[Raise] Fawriel raises his hands and Shuriken is raised from the dead in a cheesy pillar of light Uberbob slaps and Faw stabs Carl (6 damage) Carl is met by much firey whippage (4 damage) Shuriken dramatically slices Carl (5 damage) the Accupuncturist stabs Shuriken (-6 damage) [Last Breath] Carl coughs, and starts on a long and boring story. So long and boring that after a while even he checks his own watch. And then notices that he has turned into an invincible but rapidly-decaying zombie. Whoah! When did that happen? Carl clumsily bashes Faw/Uberbob with his cell-phone. (10 damage) Abydos defends
Code:
|
Shuri: Feat AWA, N, N, attack Abydos
AWA: Defend Ar4chez4n: N, NE, attack Abydos Fawbob: W, E Edit: Fixed, I keep thinking we can attack after moving, thanks to playing too much cybar battles during this class D= |
That's one too many moves for Fawbob. Keep it the same minus the attacking?
|
I vote for Carl to join the party.
|
I don't know whether what he said makes sense, but ignore it just in case.
|
 Bloodiest battle yet.
Radium, we're still discussing this in the Strategy Thread. Here are my moves: Shuriken: Feat AWA, N, N, attack Abydos. AWA: Attack Faw/Bob. Faw/Bob: Defend. Araches/L33tz4n: N, NE, attack Abydos. |
But isn't Carl invulnerable for this turn...?
and uh... Can you acupunct multiple people in one turn?! |
That would be what the Needle Time spell does, and we can only do it once. We don't need it right now, though.
|
|
|
I have edited my posts, Cooba.
Why don't my moves work because the path narrows? They're nearly identical to Adam's. There's not enough space, so we must sacrifice someone. EDIT: Radium, if you're here.. Are halved attacks rounded up or down? It's pretty important. :p |
I based everything I have planned off of this post: http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showp...&postcount=572
Since half of 5 damage was rounded to 2 Help us not help you ;! |

Do we want to do what WR and I posted, then?
|
I'm fine with WR's

From AIM:
Coobav2: Actually, screw WR. Use Wallace's: Coobav2: "Do whatever doesn't make us load last save or sth..." [Feat] 'I have no medical training,' says Shuriken, strategically reshaping a piece of chewing gum into a syringe and roll of gauze, 'but this is an emergency!' Shuriken dramatically slices Abydos (1 damage) the Accupuncturist stabs Faw/Uberbob (-6 damage) Faw/Uberbob defends Abydos is met by much firey whippage (1 damage) Shuriken falls into the pit. Shuriken dies Carl complains at the Accupuncturist until his ears start to bleed (5 damage) [Heal] Carl starts complaining loudly and at length about his lousy pay. Abydos takes the opportunity to do a few self-repairs (10 health restored) Abydos opens its door. The shadows beyond form into a tongue, which lashes out and pulls Araches/L33tz4n into its jaws... (6 damage)
Code:
|
Faw/Bob: First-Aid kit on the AWA. Defend.
Araches/L33tz4n: Defend. AWA: Defend. Adam's moves would've worked too, since damage is rounded down. |
Do what WR said...
|
[First Aid Kit] Fawriel takes out the first-aid kit and patches up the Accupuncturist (15 health restored) Faw/Uberbob defends Araches/L33tz4n defends the Accupuncturist defends Carl complains at the Accupuncturist until his ears start to bleed (2 damage) Abydos opens its door. The shadows beyond form into a tongue, which lashes out and pulls Araches/L33tz4n into its jaws... (3 damage)
Code:

Arazen: Attack Abydos
AWA: Attack Arazen Fawbob: Defend |
How come Abydos' defence is suddenly so high? It is Snow Skin that gives him 4x defence, but Abydos hasn't used it.

Meh, I'd go with WR's.
|
[Summon Water Elemental] L33tz4n mimes flipping a switch in the air, and a giant styrofoam cup appears. With a gurgling noise water pours from the sky into it, there is a slight click, and then with a rattling noise a few giant ice cubes drop from the sky into it too.

AWA is Anti-magic'd D=
|
Then just forget Needletime and attack Water Elemental once.
|
The water elemental repeatedly attacks Abydos and gets healed for several hours, 40 HP, and three charges of Snow Skin.
Abydos dies!
Code:
Abydos' blood-stained jaws lurched and creaked under the crashing force of the magical water. They shuddered, let out a final ear-splitting shriek, and fell limp, never to move again. The contracting of the bridge ceased, and the spikes behind us that blocked our path to the save point and fountain retracted back into the ground. I sprinted forward and poked the doorway's limp carcass with my spear, just in case. It showed no reaction. I turned to the remainder of the party. "What now?" "We.. opened the door. I guess we go in," L33tz4n concluded. The accupuncturist handed the needles back to her, bowed, and vanished, and the water elemental simply disappeared in a splash of light. [img]http://foxmage.com/CN__S.png[/img] Do I get to read the Strategy Thread now? I'm curious how long ago you guys could tell I was screwed in this battle. |
Go to the savepoint. This deserves a celebrationatory save!
Good job, everyone. You did REALLY well in this battle, even despite losing Fooruman so early. |
Strategy thread smategy thread ;O
Go read it and have FUN! Look over the edge of the bridge to see if Fooruman and Shuriken are in sight, then Animate the dead Abydos and command him to bring them up to the bridge. |
"This deserves a save!" I exclaimed optimistically. Before anyone had a chance to make fun of me I sprinted south a bit to the save point. To my surprise, Fooruman and the Canoe were there waiting for me.
"Fooruman! Why are you... didn't you.." "I had to go to the bathroom," he said succinctly. "Oh, okay." I decided to let logic slide, this time. The two (three?) of us rejoined the rest of the party, who were presently waiting on the bridge. Araches raised an eyebrow. "Where did-" "He had to go to the bathroom." There was only one thing left to do before we travelled on. I looked over the side of the bridge, but all I could see below was darkness. I raised my hands towards Abydos and focused my energies, immediately causing a contradition in my previous statement of "never to move again". A zombified light shone from Abydos' eyes, and from the abyss rose the body of Shuriken, held in a cradle of undead Abyss Monsters. They dropped her on the bridge and slid back down into their dark grave as Abydos went silent again. |
Ask Fooruman if he could raise Shuri, or possibly even the FooCanoe. Then go North.
|
Aww, a dramatic and emotional scene ;-)
Put Shuri in the sleeping bag, cast raise |
