What do you actually mean with this WR...or are you just supposed to include "Superjazz" in your every post somehow.

However, Thunder, what makes JDC-matches more important than other, for example jj2wc-matches? Are you going to force people playing teamgames a dozen per day again like you did last season in JDC...but then you mind playing any other games outside JDC you would be invited to. You should be fair and think more about other's feelings.

Yes, fixed stuff in this post, wr.

White Rabbit May 13, 2005 07:23 AM

@SJ: Who are you talking to? Who is 'you'? Also, check your signature picture. ;)

@Vegito: I guess you'll have to convince Chiyu that you can cut it in the 2nd round. ;)

GG. =)

Grytolle May 14, 2005 03:16 PM

GG =D

Newspaz May 14, 2005 05:23 PM

Thanks for letting me win €5 CC. ;)

Chiyu May 14, 2005 05:24 PM

Huh? NS, who did you bet with? :P

You're welcome, btw ;D.

Newspaz May 14, 2005 06:19 PM

FQuist. He said that DM would beat C C by at least five points in the finals.
I was happy to take the challenge.

I already won last week when VS beat DM, but C C winning by beating VS by 10 points shows he never could have won.

Eh. That's what the bet was, for the sake of the bet. I don't recall seriously assuming that it would really happen. Also, the bet was about the DM/CC final. Since there was no such final, it's hard to see how I've lost the bet. I guess I will be a good sport and give you the €5 because DM was beaten in the semifinals but it's not what we agreed upon, and that's what you said last week, too. :P

White Rabbit May 15, 2005 03:14 AM

So...how did you two (NS and FQ) not think about the possibility that DM, or C-C, would not make it to the finals? ;)

Well I recall you did.

And still, the fact that DM didn't even reach the finals sort of proved my point.

Turtleslayer May 27, 2005 01:36 PM

Congratulations to CC. I was pretty impressed when we played them. Good organization. What was the war team for DM against VS, by the way?

R3ptile May 27, 2005 01:47 PM

AvK, DizZy and FireSworD.

Grytolle Jun 19, 2005 11:48 AM

Thanks, turtle:)

JJ2WC III Suggestions & Thoughts

(Sorry for reviving this topic, I just wanted to share my thoughts and ideas for the upcoming JJ2WC season..)

I think that trying new stuff might be too risky. Underplayed levels are so random and never work (I guess you noticed that last season). Can't we just stick to DW, BBLAIR, Semi, Distopia, JE and SBv2?

Btw, BBLAIR should be played at the grand-final again imo. It's the most action-paced level out there, not too campy and you never get bored of it.

Grytolle Aug 29, 2005 02:37 PM

Reviving topics pwns, why is there a rule against it?;S

I think the best would be if all participating clan's players that will play in the tournament get to choose levels, not lots of people who won't play anyways, which would be the case if there was a poll on JCF.

BBlair is indeed a good level, but you can get tired of it. I was still sick of it a month ago from training it 24/7 the weekend when the grand finale was. I'd like to turn against playing on sbv2, due to its campability, which makes it more lagbased - airhits are fatal et c.

Vegito Aug 30, 2005 02:00 PM

3hk's are fatal in SBv2, airhits dont really have to be fatal.
I still don't think that BBlair is one of the best levels really...
lets play MS this season again! =D

Sasik Aug 31, 2005 01:23 AM

I agree with R3p. Quality of new levels which were played in last season wasn't so good ;l Personally, I think that Distopia is a bit too small for 3v3, but whatever. The option where all participating clans can choose levels is the best imho.

@Gry: I don't think that sbv2 is so 'campy' level in 3v3. However, it's classic. Airhits and 3hk happens in all levels ( because of seekers and rf's ).

Grytolle Aug 31, 2005 03:26 AM

But sbv2 is oe of the easiest levels to be R or RTS in, meaning if your flag gets 1h by air and your enemy is RTS3 w/ good ammo, you have a problem.

White Rabbit Aug 31, 2005 05:54 AM

Totally agreed.

Argh.
*has nightmares*

Agreed.

R3ptile Aug 31, 2005 11:57 AM

CTF is also based on teamplay and tactics much more than skill. Pick teambattle if you want to find out who's the most SKILLED team.

That's called map control.

P.S. I'm taking a break, so I won't be playing JJ2 at all untill JJ2WC III.

Sasik Aug 31, 2005 12:34 PM

Aren't good teamplay and tactics included in skill? :p

Grytolle Aug 31, 2005 09:54 PM

I was not saying we would have problems playing sbv2, only that it isn't an all that fun level in my opinion. And... Sasik is right about skills and stuff.
