A) It will make less people think you have hoaxes.
B) It will give us a direct screenshot from the game, also disproving it as a hoax.

I'm not entirely convinced either way. On one hand, there's the screenshot EvilMonkey pointed out with the weird color block around Jazz. But on the other hand, it wouldn't be impossible to create some of the things seen in those screenshots (assuming the animations aren't more complex than I think they are). Of course it would be easier to believe if Dx said the levels would be TSF, but he could've also tried going above the animation limit of 1.23 (I still have to test the effects of this myself, and I wouldn't recommend going over the limit without extensive testing). But that's all just speculation.

Uhhh..... that resolution is impossible. Both numbers are not multiples of 4 or 8.

I suppose you haven't checked resolutions of Dx's "screenshots"?

Ugh, I'm back on the skeptical side after examining this screenshot. Not only does it contain way too many colors as it is (16356 from what I tested), but the colors can't possibly be reduced to retain the same look. It looks like Dx needs to give a really good explanation for this. I'm not saying that all of Dx's screenshots are fake or couldn't be achieved in JJ2, but this one seems like a definite leap of faith.

Hmm, and reading the pack's features is like reading the features of some crappy DVD.

* New Villians
* New Friends
* New Tilesets
* Meet Mario And The Lost Vikings
* Big Levels
* And Some Crazy Bosses

The only thing missing is *Interactive menus
EDIT- However, Big Levels would be something put on a fancy DVD feature list, let's just hpe they have good/fun content.

They're not "hoaxes" so much as "mockups". Dx has already admitted to editing the screenshots, that colorful fire is just another example. It's the "idea" of the levels rather than the atual content.

Well, but showing screenshots that are NOT like the true game itself won't help you to promote your episode. That's just like if Epic would show screenshots of a 3D Jazz game and in the end it's just a few TSF-like JJ2 levels.
