Here, JazzMusic. This is a picture of a pre=blown up event 196 in a crate. An airboarding Jazz comes out, and act's like the crab enemy. 3 Hp, slow walking... 300 points... Meh... |
I think I've used that thing in one of my crappy levelpacks (one of the less crappy ones though).
|
I say you try to find out an actual use for your "invention".
|
It's kind of a new enemy. Simple as that.

I never said I knew everything about JCS.

Oh, lol. No, don't have it. Try looking up his PROFILE :p |
And, by the way, I found a good use for it already. You come out of a 'machine-like-construction' and another Jazz (MCE 196) comes out with you. Anyone know, by the way, what is the MCE for an ordinairy blaster shot being shot right out of a crate? Just like I've seen wind right + Electro Blaster and Bomb Crate with a Lighting Shield shot out of it.

:) I'll try :p
|
Top Secret 1, made by Overlord has clear instructions how to make MCE's. You can find them below in the tileset.
And you must download RHG for that tileset...... :-\ |

The article Cooba linked to is actually slightly inferior to the one Violet has on JCSref (See Modifying your newly understood MCE under GENERATOR). I still don't see the purpose of having both the JCS article section on J2O and the JCSref website. If you ask me, instead of JCS articles on J2O, there should just be a link to JCSref where anyone with J2O membership can post an article (or I should say "a tutorial" since it's a little more than an article). But... that's probably asking for too much.

@BlurredD:
Do you have a mod for that PWN pic, by the way? Like being able to play Devan? Or is it a hoax? |
Quote:
Why not use private messages for things like this, anyway... |
Aww.... I wish I could play as Devan... :p
|
You truly need to have the sourcecode of jj2 for that. : - /
|
Hello, Epic, GIVE US THE (-) (-) (-) (-) ing sourcecode!
|
NO, you god(-) (-)s have been trying this for years! We Won't give that (-)ing courcecode! Now (-) off! -EPIC-
I think that's a very common answer..... |
Yea... I know... Let's send hatemail! *Write write*

|
Yeah, I guess you're right... People would add all pokemon and DBZ characters and other worthless junk...
|
Quote:
I think we must capture all EPIC programmers and use them as slaves to program jj2 patches and stuff! 8D |
8D I'll grab the ropes!
|
Quote:
|
I disagree. Simply because I can.
|
Quote:
But JJ2 would lose it's shine if EPIC would do that, that could be a reason why EPIC won't give away the sourcecode.(Is my grammar correct? ) |

Derby: Acronym removal. |
Only the creators.(this is the most useless post I ever made, don't read it)
|
We don't really have to worry about pokemon or DBZ characters in the game, considering the people who can actually read and understand the source code are probably too smart to do stupid things like that.
Imagine a Jazz 2 SDK. *shudders* |

|
And I don't think that many people want to modify the sourcecode, it's dang hard and confusing writing in C++!
And someone could modify the sourcecode in such a way that it can be used to as some sort of spyware. And the servers will get problems with players who have different mods. And BTW; PAGECLAIM! In the name of err.... ehm..... eh... :p |
Quote:
NO. |
If not that many people wanted to edit it, why are we so concerned with getting it then?
|
Jazz2 simply needs some patches and we all want some extra functions in the game. And if we would be in the posession of the sourcecode, then those ideas could be realised. That's the drive behind it.
