whats wrong with declining a clanwar? they know they lack the time and members to do it, thus they decline. such is life...

Ragnarok! Sep 16, 2005 02:29 PM

What r3p said..?

Vegito Sep 16, 2005 02:47 PM

btw. You take this game too seriously >P

nolifers

...depends on how you see it.
I get bored if I havent got anything to do.
So I go on the computer, playing a game there... but then again, if I have nothing to do at that game, I get bored too.
so we arrange something G_G

@ Bd-er, maybe check the CÇ Vs. FoR Topic too ;(

Vegito Sep 16, 2005 02:54 PM

Yeah =P And we challange more clans ;-)
(I somewhat expected this anyways.. :P)

A formal challenge to DM

In the name of the Dark Mercenaries clan, I hereby challenge the Dark Mercenaries clan to an official clanwar.

Don't wuss out you jerks.

NovaStar Sep 16, 2005 11:46 PM

In the name of the Rabbit Roasters, I hereby challenge the Cracco Clan to stop challenging other clans and stop making multiple threads for it, as some clans cannot be bothered. Lately we have been uneasy at arriving at the Clan Talk sub-forum and seeing 8 "A Formal Challenge to (insert clan tag here)", suffering from seeing too many similar threads. During the time these threads were not made, it was peaceful to look at the non-spammy list of threads. As you might have noticed the mods have had chaos controlling non-spammy threads made by the Cracco Clan and we figure that not making these silly seperate threads would make things better. Once again: I hereby challenge the Cracco Clan to not challenging other clans and stop making multiple threads for it, as some clans cannot be bothered.

Details: You MUST accept this challenge or see the frying and banning power of the mods.

A formal challenge to EVERY CLAN

In the name of the dead wt(b) Clan, I hereby challenge every clan to an official clanwar. Lately our warrior(s) have felt quite uneasy, suffering from clanwar-abstinence. During the World Championships we got used to playing clanwars frequently, and we miss the excitment of going into battle, the sadistic fun of roasting an opponent in a really humiliating way, not to mention how struggles makes the team closer to eachother. As you might have noticed there have been some chaos in wt(b) lately, mainly due to lack of teamspirit, and now we figure that perhaps some clanwars would make things better. Once again: In the name of the wt(b) Clan, I hereby challenge every clan to an official clanwar.

Details:
The clanwar, if challenge be accepted, would consist of two Free-For-All Deathmatches in Batte. Levels and hosts will be discussed on ORC. (We do not demand a neutral host)

You didn't spend much time on reading forum rules I suppose.

White Rabbit Sep 17, 2005 02:13 AM

Try not to make fun of CC's attempt to get in shape. They were serious with their requests, while you're not exactly making Electropizza very happy. :p

White Rabbit Sep 17, 2005 02:14 AM

Yay for being cowards!

But we spend our time writing posts, like these. :(

Ragnarok! Sep 17, 2005 02:32 AM

You lost the vote!! ;]

maverick Sep 17, 2005 02:37 AM

I'm not bored. If you are, that's your problem.

R3ptile Sep 17, 2005 03:58 AM

.. he is. Always.

Vegito Sep 17, 2005 05:16 AM

And I think you misunderstood the point of that post.
whatever.

Vegito Sep 17, 2005 05:20 AM

Stay on topic.
+ we made the topics just for a serious clanwar.
what others did about whatever isn't my problem. =P

Vegito Sep 17, 2005 05:21 AM

erm, i dont think anything is wrong with declyning. btw :P

White Rabbit Sep 17, 2005 05:24 AM

Me neither. :)
Isn't it great to believe you've got a free choice on these matters when you actually don't?

I mean, I can demonstrate my free will by writing sdfsjslsdflfsdfsdlfs or not writing it.
I don't think the same can be done with the clanwar with CC. I just can't do it. :|

:(

:(

Sasik Sep 17, 2005 05:28 AM

GOGOG R3P
YOU WILL BEAT THEM ;D

Vegito Sep 17, 2005 08:02 AM

Still waiting for a reply :+

Vegito Sep 17, 2005 08:03 AM

still waiting here too ;(

[GpW]Urbs Sep 17, 2005 08:50 AM

veg, i doubt they'll play. i havent seen dizzy online for ages, and the rest seem a bit unactive as well. Correct me if im wrong, but I think dizzy's time is in majority taken up by his studies. The same goes for all of us im afraid:(

I made my topic for a serious idea to see the best duelist from each clan in a free for all deathmatch game, just using your templete, and my topic got closed.
Using the same logic, I want this thread closed since it is serious about a clan war.

White Rabbit Sep 17, 2005 10:21 AM

A duel is not a clanwar. A clan cannot have one person in it. The very definition of the word forbids that. Even 2v2s aren't considered to be proper clanwars. 3v3+ or nothing, and CC' has played enough CWs to know that.

Vegito Sep 17, 2005 12:41 PM

agreed G_G
but the thing is.. its more polite to have AN answer than NO answer ;-P

Murderbeam Sep 17, 2005 01:07 PM

Peace.

Why Doesn't Everybody Get along and have A cup of Tea?
Clanwars are Bad. 8D
I know it may seem new, but thats whats killing JJ2, or so i think.
So why don't we just settle down for a While?

I Posted this here to tell this, Foos.

Enigma Sep 17, 2005 01:16 PM

Isn't that cute? People think we're actually still active.

Trafton Sep 17, 2005 01:17 PM

I don't speak for DM as a whole, but I do speak as a member of a clan you are challenging.

A few reasons why no one is accepting your invite:
  1. This is a bunny rabbit game. When you use language like "the sadistic fun of roasting an opponent in a really humiliating way," it sounds really, really weird.
  2. You're sending this to pretty much every clan that moves. Where is the feeling of specific challenge? It's hard to feel bad in turning it down when everything that moves is being challenged.
  3. A former, respectful challenge would be to privately contact a clan leader and set up a date, not post some melodramtic message like this one.
  4. The way you're acting suggests that you take this clan war thing way, way too seriously.

DM is barely a clan after all. It's more just a group of people who put DM on the end of their name, or don't. We fight when we like, and probably no one is going to respond to the equivalent of a mass spamming without any individual regard.

Sorry.

Blackraptor Sep 17, 2005 01:23 PM

I'm going to be nice and reply to this. I haven't been active on jj2 at all almost after winning the past JDC season (aside from a few short 2vs2s/forced duels) and I dont intend to be. Blur hasn't replied to this and I doubt he will soon so I am doing so. I strongly doubt that this clanwar will be happening, though I am not in any leadership position so I can't give a solid answer.

Vegito Sep 17, 2005 03:08 PM

Thanks for the information anyways =)
We'll just wait till the leader decides =P
But I think your right, and that this clanwar won't happen..
Np though =P

Vegito Sep 17, 2005 03:09 PM

Hey, you were representive at the JJ2 europe meeting ;.;
With the same number as the CraccoClan. ;-P
(and oh well, there actually still are 2 TFérs active..)

White Rabbit Sep 17, 2005 03:11 PM

Darn. Both males. :(
I'm feeling extinct.

Vegito Sep 17, 2005 03:19 PM

Well, this is more about that we want some 'fun' at jj2 again.
So we challenged like about every clan.. we wanted to be sure that we got a clanwar :P
even though we are arranging one with 8D already..

PLUS..

DM is like one of the strongest clans in JJ2..
We, from CC, wanted to play a clanwar against those famous ones :P
I already tried to arrange a clanwar with DM, but it didn't really work out..
So this is another way to arrange it, its easy to get a date set here..

Sorry.

This is pretty much how things are. A lot of our members still play quite a bit and are fairly skilled, but for the most of us don't seem to be very interested in this sort of thing. The way I see it, over the years we've shifted from being a normal jj2 clan to being a sort of jj2 equivilant of a snooty elitist gentlemen's club. The english kind, not the kind with strippers. Some may see things differently.

I don't speak for all members in this regard, but I prefer to just disassociate myself with anything that can be called "clan politics". It's a stupid computer game.

MaGoo Sep 17, 2005 06:33 PM

Trafton and EvilMike basically summed everything up. DM hasn't been very clanwar active in a few years, and the ones that were don't play as much as they used to. DM is still in existance for the sake of traditon, and most members take pride in just that, and not much else.
