Stop using txt spk please.

FQuist Jan 20, 2006 10:23 AM

I'm not sure who the 'bl' you mention is, Jamster, and I very much doubt he would release the source, or that he actually has it.

The source code still exists, that's easy to confirm, and details were posted in the (private) 1.25 council forum. I'm not sure which details would be fit for release but the only important one is that the source code exists, and is easily retreived once we have the rights to it (which is the actual problem, not finding it). We're working on that, too. Don't worry about where it is.

UNKNOWNFILE Jan 20, 2006 10:26 AM

If you want the source code so bad then just hack the friggin computer and steal it. Besides, would 1.25 become widespread anyways?

FQuist Jan 20, 2006 10:37 AM

Um, if it was illegal and stolen, it wouldn't become widespread, no. That would also really help improve the community's reputation, future chances of any games, and the existance of this site, which would probably be killed by its host.

Violet CLM Jan 20, 2006 02:09 PM

CliffyB does not have the source code, so he can't give it to people.

CrimiClown Jan 20, 2006 02:13 PM

Did nobody claim the page?

Now I did... >D

blakbeest Feb 7, 2006 02:42 PM

That wuz a bit pointless

Grytolle Feb 7, 2006 03:17 PM

Since this is revived anyways... What's the numerous private forums for? And what's the point of keeping the information hidden?

Birdie Feb 7, 2006 03:24 PM

good question ;)

The SlaYeR Feb 7, 2006 03:30 PM

For the same reason the Area 51 is hidden.

Sonyk Feb 8, 2006 03:45 AM

Nothing? Area 51 really isn't that hidden, it's an Air Force base. You can see it with satellite tools like Google Earth.

Besides private forums are probably just to keep information on the board or actions of the administration hidden from public, where people may see it and protest for no reason, which seems to be a common thing on this board.

ShadeJackrabbit Feb 19, 2006 12:53 PM

What's funny is that the privat topics were called secret by someone. But it's not very secret if you let everyone know! *waits for thousands of people to throw knives at him*

NovaStar Feb 19, 2006 03:37 PM

Actually,
*throws spife at ZAPPER*

n00b Feb 19, 2006 03:40 PM
