r3p tends to say things like that without any proof. Don't pay any attention to him.

I'm talking about the CD not about the cover.
Look, this part:
[IMG]http://www.ilexikon.com/images/9/99/CD-R_Back.jpg[/IMG]
What kind of color is it have? It's green like in the picture, or silver, or black, or pink, etc.

About AJazz: One day, I've been played about 10-20 mins jj2 online, and I met AJazz. He started to complain about, why I voted him, to ban, everybody wants him to stay, just me not, and everybody hates me because I wanted him banned. Quiet funny. Than he started to talk about how could I have problem with him, he's still a nice person, just like to spam servers, and nobody's perfect, blah. Ridicolous.

R3ptile Jan 25, 2006 08:52 AM

He just attempts to act like me, Tazar :p

TaZaR Jan 25, 2006 08:56 AM

So you're AJazz?

Link Jan 25, 2006 10:22 AM

Please stop talking about AJazz.

JazzFor[EVER], TaZaR and others want to know what the actual disc (not the case) looks like. Is it a plain disc, like TaZaR's image, or does it have writing or a sticker on it?

JazzFor[EVER] Jan 25, 2006 11:46 AM

It's blank disc without any sticker... and yes it's looks like TaZaR's image

edit: BTW, why do I similar to AJazz? what's so remind me and AJazz?

TaZaR Jan 25, 2006 11:48 AM

So it's a writeable disk, right?
And that means it's not original stuff, or did they gave away their demos on normal cd-rs?

JazzFor[EVER] Jan 25, 2006 11:59 AM

This man DL that Demo, don't knew that is illegal...
But still, Demo is like a trial, can be distributed

White Rabbit Jan 25, 2006 12:00 PM

Not this one, since it's only a demo because it isn't finished. It's an unpublic beta, with an unlicensed version of the UT engine, and no permission was ever given to distribute it.

TaZaR Jan 25, 2006 12:03 PM

The funny thing is, the whole community has JJ3d, but nobody talks or post link about it. :p

n00b Jan 25, 2006 12:19 PM

Mainly because noone does much with it.

We rarely talk JJA, despite the fact the whole community can easily snag the rom and an emu.

JazzFor[EVER] Jan 25, 2006 12:24 PM

hmm, i think they dont give it cuz' its illegal.
no one wants legal demand.. :-)

Doubble Dutch Jan 25, 2006 11:44 PM

No; the legality doesn't matter, its just that nobody wants our community suddenly sued and disbanded by Epic.

As soon as Epic makes it freeware we'll all put all he dozens of ilegal copies we've made on Ebay.

..Really.

I for one don't have it. Never have had it, either. Despite having seen a couple of dozen download links.

JazzFor[EVER] Jan 26, 2006 04:06 AM

i don't sure you see it... only if be jazz 3... it can be that they continue it? (of cource, don't start it from 0... i don't think this game succeed with the UT engine and old graphic)

R3ptile Jan 26, 2006 04:33 AM

They stopped working on that game ages ago, and it doesn't seem like they're going to start working on it again in the close future... though, if I'm not mistaken, you could try and develop the game yourself if you have some knowledge with the UT engine.

Indeed, but releasing it is a whole other matter. The "game" or any of its components (levels, characters and whatnot) is still illegal to spread around,so even if you were to finish it, you wouldn't be able to release it unless you look at Epic with big sad soulfull puppy eyes...

The March Hare Jan 26, 2006 06:25 AM

Hmm... I've never had a copy of the infamous JJ3 demo, myself. This is quite the interesting story, however.

Here's the important question. JazzFor[Ever], did you have fun with it?

-The March Hare-

cooba Jan 26, 2006 06:27 AM

(You're almost two months early this time D=.)

Know what, me too. Self-control. :D

JazzFor[EVER] Jan 26, 2006 08:42 AM

The March Hare, the game very excellent :)
specially his soundtrack.
and the game very creative, but a bit lame, but a good. Epic really have it, they can conquer the area.
if they release Jazz Jackrabbit 3. and... i don't think *i* can release the game, even a fan game. even i have a good ideas...
by the way, how i can know the game that i buy is a legal version from the 80 legal versions? they have some symbol?

and, i have a good idea,
what do you think if we organize a petition to release Jazz Jackrabit 3?
if you confirm this idea, i be happy to do it.

R3ptile Jan 26, 2006 08:45 AM

It wouldn't work.

JazzFor[EVER] Jan 26, 2006 08:49 AM

why? \:

wadledee Jan 26, 2006 11:15 AM

There was a reason for Epic not to finish the game..

The 80 legal versions thing was a stupid prank by Danyjel. You're best off not listening to his claims generally, I guess.

Already been done. They don't listen or care. Well, maybe they care a little bit.

I'm thinking of changing my name to The Off-And-On Hare. The current standards are too hard to follow.

so..
there will be no Jazz' 3, huh? :(

MSB3000 Jan 26, 2006 03:25 PM

Most likely, unless someone was willing to finish the project. Professionally, of course.

FQuist Jan 26, 2006 03:46 PM

It's not about the project being finished or not, it's that publishers for the project weren't available.

wadledee Jan 26, 2006 03:54 PM

Yup... Well, anyway I still want to give it a try to make JJ3 levels, it could be fun.. A 3D Carrot Islands, maybe? :D :D =P
if I only knew how this editor works...

n00b Jan 26, 2006 06:13 PM

Look up Unreal Engine 1 tutorials. They apply for the JJ3 engine.

wadledee Jan 27, 2006 04:12 AM

I know :P but I'm to lazy to get googling. But I will do this weekend..

Black Ninja Jan 28, 2006 01:12 PM

Can you do me a favor? Go to the folder that JJ3 is installed in and enter the 'maps' folder. From there, please list all the files you see. I have a theory about this,

ThunderPX Jan 28, 2006 03:01 PM

Yes, BN, there are more maps in the game than there are playable in SP. =P *shot*

n00b Jan 28, 2006 03:02 PM

Like the Airboard level, for isntance.

Sonyk Jan 28, 2006 03:04 PM

I think he's checking to see if Lark and Overlord's levels are in it, to see weither it's the "original" pre-alpha, or the multiplayer demo.

...not that any of you care, or anything

Doubble Dutch Jan 29, 2006 03:35 PM

So.. wait; someone else made new maps for JJ3? Where can I get them?
