Do me a favor and list 20 good enough, created recently levels which didn't get yet put in the ab lists.

I didn't mention that kind of restriction since I figured it would be too controversial. But I suppose we could do something like at least 75% of the levels can't be from any other bash pack.

Note that I wasn't particularly active this year after JDC ended so I have no idea if anything good was made then, and there's probably at least some unreleased good levels that aren't on my list as well. This is in no means complete, btw.

Thats six, which leads to Cooba's point that we need to use levels from past ABs.

I suppose Base Construction is too buggy and quirky, and does not have good enough eyecandy.

I was not asking why it wasn't on the list - I was actually assuming what I said was true, while doing a possible suggestion.

Polish up BC, i'd love to see it in a bash. Especially one with a composite number.

:D BC is pretty nice a new one would be cool.

I'm planning on having a dedicated Foo Races server, complete with 3 unseen races. Obviously I won't be hosting it from home (I still can't play online), so if it goes down I guess it won't be as dedicated as I originally planned. Still, should be fun. ;p

Exams + Final Year + JCF/J2O Admin = no time to polish up BC

...BC is as much of a AB CTF as JTF or Handicap CTF is.

It's still quite fun.

I think in the spirit of our recent Gheto take over, we should rename the Capture the Flag server into "Jack the Flag" and force everyone to use ebonics.

Discuss this decision. (I had to come up with something after finding a large treasure server doesn't work that well)

I agree with n00b. Everybody should also have rap names and outline their name with bling (blue coloring and * symbols, to simulate fake diamonds)

Hmm, what level you mean? I didn't make much recently. Maybe you're talking about Eternal Gardens, which I made in February 2004. It hasn't been in any bash so far, and it's 7.2+, so who knows... :p

As I guessed, the CTF list was painfully easier to assemble than the Battle one. And here we come to a paradox: The community excels in making team based levels and gametypes, but when it comes to play in public servers (like the Bash) they'd rather play in Battle rather than CTF. Witness the logic *hypno*

Nice lists. But I miss "Apple Land" by DarkSonic, that's actually one of the better CTF levels made this year. If it has to be replaced with something else I suggest removing Glowing Poison, that one has been in other bashes before.

For the rest, I couldn't agree more on everything :)

...Carrotus Square by me? Its reviews were terribly critical, and on hindsight the level lacks in many ways, although I still like its speed and aspects of its flow, and I like playing in it. ++JAIL :p

Great to see a list compiled. I don't know many of the levels, but it's good to see.

Could we replace Glowing Poison with Urban Scrawl?
It's big, so it could be good for the bash.

Sure I will enjoy battle a lot more this year as there is no more levels such as silent slayers nor lost world-battle.

Because people were complaining, Glowing Poison is now changed to African Lowlands and Cave Connection to Radioactive Soup. Have fun.

Why remove Cave Connection? Put it back!

I hope that CTF list is not the actual one. If levels like Cactus Jazz can be in, a level like Apple Land should DEFINITELY be in too.

I'm going to say with an unbiased opinion, that I like Radioactive Soup better than Cave Connection.

I prefer RS as well, though the question is just, which level could it replace. It could've possibly taken nro 2's pos or Cactus Jazz but Cave Connection just got out this time respec]ktlessly blue flames. ;<

Let me just point out that Lava Lagoon has been in AB7. Otherwise, I like the lists for the most part (to be honest, I can't recall all of them at this moment).

I put Lava Lagoon in the AB8 list in an attempt to persuade people into liking the level more (because people apparently don't). But if more people insist, I can replace it with Cave Connection, Apple Land or ST's recently finished level (which he told me about privately).

Or just replace it with Apple Land, because it's the same story as LL.

If FS likes it, why others don't?
