Anubis Jan 5, 2007 02:38 PM

My first ever duel in bblair :P gg today were my first duels in half a year. I really have become better (not only because you played sloppy)

Grytolle Jan 5, 2007 04:07 PM

(-) yeah i'm in! grytolle@gmail.com, please contact me on msn instead though, if you mean to actually reach me

master sven Jan 6, 2007 12:25 AM

It has allready begun.
I have to face Sucer, :(

R3ptile Jan 6, 2007 01:16 AM

btw in case the score is still tied after the time limit of 15 minutes, 5 more extra minutes are played, then again 5 more if still neccessary, etc..

I'm sorry:(

I'm now extremely happy with the mappool. My two favourite levels are in, I just hope you won't choose swinging jazz. I'm also happy FireSword is in. I just hope I'll survive so long that I'll face him.

Yasco Jan 6, 2007 02:18 AM

This is ridiculous...sign-ups took only 1,5 hour??? Now I can't participate just because I didn't check JCF last night.

Anubis Jan 6, 2007 02:53 AM

Uhh... maybe we could get 32 people?

Sucer Jan 6, 2007 04:07 AM

MasterSven can you play today around 20.00?

Vegito Jan 6, 2007 04:34 AM

I do agree, you could get 32 players with ease.

Grytolle Jan 6, 2007 05:19 AM

There shouldn't be any problems with adding new players after one duel has been played :p

Snooze vs eNriCO

1st round; 10-3 in semi
2nd round; 11-1 in BBLAIR

thanks to vegito for hosting. both duels were quite entertaining, even though i dislike semi ;P

Vegito Jan 6, 2007 10:01 AM

I was the host, I got the entire log if you want it.

maverick Jan 6, 2007 10:33 AM

Since I have had connection problems lately I'm giving up the tournament.
Vegito takes my spot. GL & HF ^^!

Vegito Jan 6, 2007 10:36 AM

[19:36:13] veg
[19:36:18] yes
[19:36:18] confirm ;o

>_> so there.

Sucer Jan 6, 2007 11:01 AM

Ok my opponent didn't show up. So how long do we have time to play the game? One week?

R3ptile Jan 6, 2007 11:15 AM

alright, Skull faces Veg already in the first round then :|

good luck

FireSworD Jan 6, 2007 11:54 AM

I won my first duel against Riccardo 10-0. I could've done it a lot better, he had a lot of open spots in his playing but I just didn't exploit them. I also wasn't as fast as I'd like to have been.

Second round is later.

Vegito Jan 6, 2007 11:56 AM

I've got the log of that round as well.

I am @ my grandparents and went out 4 dinner.
I'm back @ monday.

Btw i said mayb tonight.

Enigma Jan 6, 2007 02:10 PM

Whoops, too late. Ah well, I guess that if I'm not quick enough to sign up, my reflexes are too poor to win anything anyway ;) Good luck everyone.

at least I'm not the only one

Raven aka StL Jan 6, 2007 03:08 PM

So the sign-ups are closed?

If it is so, then this is pitiable and highly unprofessional...

Stijn Jan 6, 2007 03:34 PM

I do not really see how an early closing of registrations makes something "highly unprofessional". I would also advice you to stop childishly using every opportunity to point out how inferior and amateur this tournament is just because you have some feud with Sucer. If you think you can do it better, why don't you actually do something and get that nation cup of yours going?

Raven aka StL Jan 6, 2007 06:09 PM

Uh, this isn't Sucer's tourney, nor has anything to do with Sucer.
Secondly, I don't do that.
and thirdly, I'm one of a thousand people who to stalk.

Stijn Jan 6, 2007 06:12 PM

Oh, I thought this was Sucer's. Anyway, my point still stands.

master sven Jan 6, 2007 11:48 PM

Yay my gramps has a new comp, but no more JJ2 :(
Little chance of duelling today, or some1 has to send me jj2.
But i think i can be there tomorrow evening.

R3ptile Jan 7, 2007 02:45 AM

emp, i think you are just (-) because you didn't get to sign up in time. and yeah, you're soo the one to speak about making professional tourneys, right? well if you have nothing useful to say, just do us a favor and get off this thread.

Anubis Jan 7, 2007 03:12 AM

Why don't you just open the signups for 32 players? :)

R3ptile Jan 7, 2007 03:14 AM

because i'm fond enough of the 16 who've already signed up ;0

Anubis Jan 7, 2007 03:20 AM

Yea but some people are unhappy about missing the tournament :(

R3ptile Jan 7, 2007 03:23 AM

there will be more tournaments in the future, this is not such a big deal :/

Yasco Jan 7, 2007 04:47 AM

Well , it still sux :)

Sucer Jan 7, 2007 06:45 AM

R3ptile, I guess you could have waited for a day or two before closing the sign ups. JJ2 WC afterall is quite an important tourney and shouldn't be played so that many good active players are out.

MasterSven I'm not sure if I can make it on monday but I'll try:) Tuesday evening I can play for sure.

Grytolle Jan 7, 2007 07:48 AM

It's not important in any way, in this manner... :P And in any case calling it world championships when not everyone willing can play is sort of stupid

Anubis Jan 7, 2007 08:03 AM

World = everyone
Championship = only the best
Pwned 8D

Just kidding, there should have been 32 slots.

Enigma Jan 7, 2007 08:03 AM

Well yeah, but "The JJ2 Championship of the first 16 people to sign up" doesn't quite have the same appeal ;)

R3ptile Jan 7, 2007 08:06 AM

i just wanted to test out something smaller for starters
