I think it does, and no.

And I'm afraid I already started making such a list, + mave ain't a tournament official, so you can disregard that, thanks.
Don't do stuff related to this tournament behind my back, please thanks.

Vegito Feb 18, 2007 10:35 AM

The Netherlands Vs. Italy.

Well, it would have been a lot more closer if it was soccer but..

Round 1: Medieval Skyscrapers (NLs choice). Host: Sasik.
5-0 to the Netherlands. It really was a fast game, heh. No real problems.

Round 2: Jungle's Edge (Ita's choice). Host: Sasik.
5-0 to the Netherlands. Same comment ;P

Quickz Feb 18, 2007 10:53 AM

Team Netherlands: DarkSonic, Quickz and Vegito
Team Italy: Blazer, Enrico and Riccardo.

Well, it was fast indeed, didn't lag too much, gg Italy.

we do nothing behind your back because you are aware of it.

btw you should also thank us for maintaining an irc channel (you can't even use irc) with lots of people in it.

edit: as an offical i've just got a permission to generate stats and stuff, so nvm.

HàTéBrèéD[MF] Feb 18, 2007 02:24 PM

Raven aka StL Feb 19, 2007 03:51 AM

Raven aka StL Feb 19, 2007 04:37 AM

'aight.

Round 2

Netherlands - Israel (21st Feb, 19.00 GMT)

Poland - Germany (21st Feb, 18.00 GMT)

Romania - Finland (21st Feb, 19.00 GMT)

Slovenia - Belgium (21st Feb, 17.00 GMT)

Sweden - Australia (22nd Feb, 13.00 GMT)

United Kingdom - Italy (22nd Feb, 16.00 GMT)

Again, if those times don't work out, or people don't show up, then postpone.
But do your best to play these games at the given times or soon after.

Also, if you can find a better time that would be before the appointed time, then feel free to play it then.

Any host both teams agree on will do.

Remember to have the hosts log the matches!!

Have fun.

HàTéBrèéD[MF] Feb 19, 2007 05:17 AM

ok poles. We wish you much fun to destroy Germany ;(

It would be better to play ONE MATCH PER WEEK (in the weekend, saturday/sunday). Considering as there were only two matches played this tournament will be full of forfeits. You should tell people about their matches at least 5 days before the games. Think about it.

However, we'll be there to pwn Germans =D

[GpW]Urbs Feb 19, 2007 06:20 AM

hmm ya, one match per week would be way better, so most teams would arrange the game during the week and play during the weekend.

At least, thats what I think...

Chiyu Feb 19, 2007 07:35 AM

Hmm, you should have announced the schedule earlier than one day before the matches had to be played. I was away for the weekend but I would have arranged something if I had known..

[GpW]Urbs Feb 19, 2007 09:56 AM

yes well, ditto here chiyu, but u won anyway and we would have lost anyway so no harm done yet...

Raven aka StL Feb 19, 2007 11:48 AM

I've already said countless times that trying to have a tight schedule didn't work out and ended up being a mistake.
It won't be happening again...
After this round (2), there will be one game / week unless all games are finished before that.

R3ptile Feb 19, 2007 11:49 AM

2 matches per week are better, otherwise we'd have to forfeit at some stage
keep in mind at least 6 teams won't even make it to their matches.

Rather saying about the shedule one day before the games were said to be played was big mistake from your side. ;;

Raven aka StL Feb 19, 2007 12:01 PM

Exactly. -_-

Sasik Feb 19, 2007 12:05 PM

Btw. why did you delete the shedule from the site? It was kinda useful to know when we face whom.

Anakin[CC] Feb 19, 2007 01:26 PM

I dont know either :S i thought it was a bad idea too, but i have to do as he says so.

Vegito Feb 19, 2007 02:51 PM

Ur lucky I can make it to that time Wednesday :|
This will be problematic. Espescially for countries like Australia if u continue scheduling this way :[
Edit: You scheduled 2 matches at the same time. I myself will play in 1 of the matches. lol hosts? ;p
And maybe set a host for each match? :o

Raven aka StL Feb 19, 2007 03:28 PM

@ Sasik and Elmer: I want to keep it a surprise till the announcement. ;/

@ Veg: I added the time for Australias' match keeping in mind the time difference, if it's still too big then I guess it's hard for them to participate...
And I've asked a few dozen good hosts (kinda all of them) and over 85% have politely declined...
Oh, and it's great if you can make it to your match. ;p

@ (A dozen people): This tournament doesn't follow all tournament standards, so don't expect everything to be like you've seen it before.

NovaStar Feb 19, 2007 10:20 PM

Whoa, I absolutely didn't know about those times until Monday ;-;
I'm not too sure Australia VS Sweden will be played but we'll see how things go.

Grytolle Feb 19, 2007 11:33 PM

Noone appreciates you keeping the schedule a secret, Wallace.

PurpleJazz Feb 19, 2007 11:35 PM

My Predictions:

Netherlands - Israel = Netherlands

Poland - Germany - Poland

Romania - Finland = Finland

Slovenia - Belgium = Belgium

Sweden - Australia = Sweden

United Kingdom - Italy = United Kingdom

Sucer Feb 20, 2007 01:42 AM

What about the games of round 1 that were not played? Can they still be played?

[GpW]Urbs Feb 20, 2007 03:48 AM

Uhm guys, just to make this official, so we won't lose by not showing up again.
I've tried to contact team belgium about postponing the match till later this week, alas up till now i have yet to get an answer from them.
But since team slovenia means to show up this time, I would just like to officially state that one member(me) cannot make it at the time designated for the match to begin. I can however start the match at 17 cet or even 16:30 cet.

So there, you can't cancel us, if we don't show up at 3pm cet:). But we can come 2 hours later.
And yes, it is possible i've mixed up the time, as I'm not sure completely how this timezone thing works. but i think i haven't botched the whole thing up this time.

@ Gry: That's my policy, I can't be bothered to change it. :p
I will tell about matches 3-6 days before their designated play time. That'll be enough for all, I assume.

@ Sucer: yes, they can.

@ Urbs: As I said, you may postpone matches, or play them earlier, if you can and want.

DarkSonic Feb 20, 2007 05:27 AM

Hahaha R3p, I expected that reaction. We'll see who wins ;p

HàTéBrèéD[MF] Feb 21, 2007 11:45 AM

German - Poland

Comment_: Great game.... -_-

Vegito Feb 21, 2007 12:28 PM

Heh, Germany Vs. Poland was 5-0 in both rounds. I know DS hosted. I know Semi has been played, I don't know what level was played in the other round.

Anyways..
The Netherlands Vs. Israel:
Round 1. BBlair (Israels choice.) Host: Sasik. Score: 5-1 to NL.
Line up: DarkSonic, Vegito, Chiyu Vs. SkulL, AvK, R3p.

Hmz.. This went a lot easier than each of us thought. The Netherlands really had a perfect timing. They didn't really stand a chance probably. They did have the upper hand for a while at the start though.

Round 2: Jungle's Edge. (The Netherlands' choice.) Host: Sasik. Score: 5-0 to NL.
Line up: DarkSonic, Chiyu, Vegito Vs. AvK, SkulL, R3p.

This went even faster than the BBlair round. We had the upper hand the entire game, and never really got into trouble. Our timing was yet again really perfect. Both games were nice. Friendly. Thanks for playing, Israel :)

Sasik Feb 21, 2007 12:48 PM

Well, so I'll write some informations about Poland vs Germany...

1st Round:
Map: Bloodbunny's Lair (GER's choice)
Host: DarkSonic
Poland: Maverick, Sasik, Sperry (red)
Germany: Hatebreed, BadBunny, Sfazist (blue)
Score: POL vs GER 5-0
Well, kinda fast game. We were in a hurry. Weird thing for me is that I had to complete Germany's team to get the game played (I found BadBunny;P)...
GG.

2nd Round:
Map: Happy Semiconductor CTF (POL's choice)
Host: DarkSonic
Poland: Maverick, Sasik, Sperry (red)
Germany: Hatebreed, Fabian, Sfazist (blue)
Score: POL vs GER 5-0
Again, won without any problems. gg.

Overall: POL vs GER 2-0 (10-0)

We were waiting over one hour for Yum, but he didn't come =(
However, good luck in the future, Germans. =D

R3ptile Feb 21, 2007 01:00 PM

well as veg said we had the upper hand untill they started sneaking to their base in perfect timings, something we didn't see coming and weren't really used to, but don't worry next time we'll come more prepared i guess.

HàTéBrèéD[MF] Feb 22, 2007 03:50 AM

=((((((

Know all know da germans are not the best =/
We have to train 3vs3's. I think I was the only one who have ever played in a 3vs3

Vegito Feb 22, 2007 05:31 AM

The Dutchies can't play till monday for sure. (Reason: 4 out of 5 players are GONE BBQ)

Raven aka StL Feb 22, 2007 06:54 AM

That's ok, since you've finished 2/2 games and the third games are to be announced next monday.

[GpW]Urbs Feb 22, 2007 11:22 AM

Uhm any belgians here, i'd like to arrange a match(note: this is the 2nd time im doing it)?

Anakin[CC] Feb 22, 2007 12:47 PM

I'm going to play against Germany
