No argument. But I thought it was worth pointing out that there are more changes between 1.23 and 1.24 than just Lori and tilesets. As I recall, 1.24 has more memory available, and supports more episode files, for instance. And really, I wouldn't be surprised if there were other changes that people just don't know about.

1.24 supporting more episodes and having more memory is a much larger improvement and more noteworthy to use in your arguement than the insignificant change of how the powered-up freezer weapon works. But I digress.

It also has a sexier start up screen.

Yes, it would unite all the players of the already small online scene, instead of seperating it more. We can't afford to be in groups.

Stop reviving this old thread plz.

Why aren't he allowed to revive this? It's still a relevant topic, and the point is to express one's opinion. Making such posts like yours sucks, drmoo. I still think it would be good if it was all in one version, but I don't see any good way of doing it at this time.

We have decided to use a forest + carrotade method for euro events. If you don't know, it means 1.23 and 1.24 players could participate.

I, myself, am curious as to what this means. Is this something that could be generalized so that anyone hosting a server could be joined by both 1.23 and 1.24? If so, that would seem to at least go close to solving the problem.

Any server hosted with my multi-version hack enabled can be joined by players of all versions, with whatever issues that brings (in the case of 1.23 and 1.24, messed up anims - not big of a deal)
