Vegito Dec 11, 2010 03:52 AM

Thats our true legend (Y)

Chiyu Dec 11, 2010 09:12 AM

Hehe, like Veg said, we played very well :D.

For those who are interested, here are screenshots and comments on CC vs CDF and CC vs NF:

[GpW]Urbs Dec 11, 2010 01:11 PM

GpW skuked, but somehow, don't ask me how, we managed to pull one over cdf:)
20 something to 6 if memory serves.

EDIT: Humility is in our nature:)

Vegito Dec 11, 2010 04:24 PM

Strange..?

e-kills are kills made after which a teammate scores. You kill the enemy flagcarrier and we score right after. Important kills.

Chiyu Dec 11, 2010 07:07 PM

I don't notice anything strange either, what do you mean? And as Veg said, we refer to e-kills as the critical flag carrier kills in a game on which one of our teammates scores :).

[GpW]Urbs Dec 12, 2010 01:48 AM

The infamous e-kills, in most other games (such as first person shooters a la www.quakelive.com , which is free and it roxx btw) they would be called assists. It means the killing of the enemy at the crucial time when your team mate is near the base and can score.
In quakelive you get 75 points for it, if I'm not mistaken, as opposed to 100 points on you get for a cap.
I can see how you would value each cap a tad bit more, but having said that, the timing of the kill, especially on jj2, is crucial, so I can see why CC-ers mention it in their reports, because it is pretty darn important.

Speaking of which, any1 got logs from yesterdays CDF vs GpW game? I wanna see my e-kills and scores:)

EDIT: I noticed the "wrong" anomaly - the 8-D game.

electronic style kills lol

Watch out, you're being influenced by the spirit of the shane! :D

Vegito Dec 12, 2010 03:33 AM

Urbs, I'll count them out for you. (Although I dont wanna make that a habbit)

Zaitox:

Kenny 8
Max 2
MS 1
Kev 1
Urbs 3

(Kenny had several solos due to bad Rs/movements from CDF)

Compare it with the rest of the stats, Kenny 5 scores, Snooze 4 scores, Urbs 2 scores..

Kenny was involved with 13 scores, Snooze with 4, Urbs with 5. It does show who the one player is in that game. Calculating Marsh now.

Urbs 3
Kenny 6
Snz 3
Kev 1
King 1

Again Kenny killed the most (50% of the teams scores) BUT this time it was less about Kenny.

The scores (Snz 6, Kenny 3, Urbs 3) make it even.
Kenny was involved with 9 scores, Snz was involved with 9 scores and Urbs with 6. That shows a whole lot more teamplay.

And thanks for explaining me what e-kills means, I was under the impression that means electronic kills or something :)

Lol, hadn't noticed

[GpW]Urbs Dec 12, 2010 04:02 AM

ehh uhm you don't have to do that...
thats why rep asked for that script that would make more detailed stats.
Uhm you can really just send me the logs and I can count, unless you really want to count them for me in which case thanks a bunch!:)

Fairly accurate report, except for the minor detail that Jake, Nerd and I are the NF team, not the CDF team ;-)

Vegito Dec 13, 2010 02:23 AM

ROFL, its not often we make mistakes at the site but these 2 are just stupid O+

Chiyu Dec 13, 2010 07:03 AM

Sorry about that, Enigma. I copied the CC vs CDF page and apparently I forgot to change "CDF Team" to "NF Team".

It's all fixed now.

Similarly, the screen captures of both clanwars have also been added to our clanwar reports :). Have fun.

Edit: http://www.craccoclan.com/divisions/.../jj2/CW49.html for CC vs GpW!

Vegito Dec 19, 2010 03:56 AM

So far for the groupstage. It was an interesting group :)

Even JCFers can appreciate such magnificent scores, I bet.

Toni Dec 20, 2010 06:31 AM

Nice. Both scores were good.

Lithium Jan 7, 2011 01:50 PM

pwnage

[GpW]Urbs Jan 7, 2011 03:12 PM

Yes pwnage indeed:)

Zerg Jan 8, 2011 07:23 AM

Where can I watch that JJ2 TV?

spaceboy Jan 8, 2011 07:38 AM

http://www.jazzjackrabbit.net/index....jj2tv&doeget=4

Will be on today at 20.00 CET, hf!

Lithium Jan 22, 2011 06:08 AM

20:00 or 19:00???

[GpW]Urbs Jan 22, 2011 06:35 AM

19 00 cet I hope, else the 4 round game will really take too long.

Kenny almost had to go in the RL game already. Well CC agreed to play the remaining rounds tommorow if our warteam has to go, and I hope they won't back down from that. Although if we play at 19 00 cet im sure we can finish the game the way it was planned.

Vegito Jan 22, 2011 06:57 AM

19:00 it is, yes.

The match of January 8th was played at 20:00. Check out the dates of posts and you won't have to make yourself confused!

[GpW]Urbs Jan 22, 2011 12:49 PM

Well, we gave it our all and we lost 5-3, winning one round (dw) and getting a tie in the other. Zaitox, once our best map proved to be quite challenging as that was the only map where CC had a very clear advantage. Weird, I used to love it, but I guess it is now grytolle's domain:)

GJ guru's!

Xere, Kryt, Skele, Spaceboy(now BRFH), Kenny and Snooze!

Thanks to GR and Speeza for the trainings (which were lacking latelys:(, hence the zaitox result).

Thanks to shadow and all the oldies for their support.

This was an incredibly close matchup. NA round went 1-1, which is almost like professional football matches:)

The best games of the tournament were played in the finals.

Lithium Jan 22, 2011 12:55 PM

And me? :(

Good job everyone. Everyone played well, but CC was better on Zaitox...

gg,at least we got the 2nd place!

Grytolle Jan 22, 2011 02:54 PM

Scariest game in years! I'm extremely impressed by GpW everywhere but on Zaitox

spaceboy Jan 22, 2011 03:07 PM

(now it's time to rep me like hell for making JJ2WC :D)

Grytolle Jan 22, 2011 04:38 PM

repped ya rep!

rep me 2, im world champ!

Vegito Jan 22, 2011 05:59 PM

Definitely the closest games in the finals of this tournament. Gj at that one. 5-4, 2-5, 1-1 were the round scores at DW, JE and NA.
We kind of knew we'd win JE although you played pretty defensive making it hard for us to score. In NA we were doing the exact opposite. You scored 1-0 because of a double defense (and Gry got hit, somehow?). We relatively quickly scored 1-1, after which we took 0 risks anymore. All we did was continue keeping control of 'your' base to make sure you'd not score anymore. In the end it worked :).

[GpW]Urbs Jan 23, 2011 02:25 AM

Edit: Lithium I'm sorry. I wrote the post rather quickly:)

You're mentioned in the comments on j2o news section though!:)

[GpW]Urbs Jan 23, 2011 02:28 AM

Well kenny teh noob(j/k) didn't know that a tie doesnt mean overtime, so i was the only one who really went rts in the last 5 min. And yes, very likely with your massive pwn at our base, not much would have changed, but still, shame, a nother round would have pwnt:)

Still like I said, awesome games. Awesome opponents. AWESOME team mates!

Lithium Jan 23, 2011 02:52 AM

Heh. Nice one Urbs :D

Vegito Jan 23, 2011 05:57 AM

Definitely a worthy final :D

Also, we should keep the clan scene active like this... It's nice to have clanwars every now and then, and all of them haev been friendly O+

[GpW]Urbs Jan 23, 2011 09:05 AM

Well we're not gunning after CC atm.
We might be going for some other clans though:)

Oh and, I don't really care, if people like their ladder points so much it can be non-ladder. NP with us.

Still give us some time to get a new warteam in shape. I am officially out, as I'm sure GpW's young players can do better than me if given a chance. Investing in youth:)

Vegito Jan 24, 2011 05:06 AM

I've got to agree! I loved this JJ2WC a lot, except I would have preferred playing the SF and F fastar...
Clanwars are a lot of fun }>

Chiyu Jan 24, 2011 04:09 PM

I have nothing more to add to what Vegito said, basically. I too, really loved this season and all the clanwars. An active clan scene is definitely a big plus. In fact, this actually made me start playing JJ2 actively again :).

[GpW]Urbs Jan 25, 2011 12:56 AM

Well we'll try Chiyu. I'm afraid, however, that a lot of clans don't really feel like meeting our two teams (gry told me how hard it is for your alpha to find somebody to ladder with). and the ladder system basically only forces the 1st clan to accept clanwars.

Although like I've said, we can do non ladder clanwars for all I care.

Yeah, any team would basically auto disagree at 3 alpha's...
