YAY Servers are Back up lets hope that they stay up for a while

oh happy day, the servers are back :p

Sorry Enigma..the servers are down..yet again *sigh*:roll: well, its been down since last night and its still currently down. both jazz.locicware.com and list.jazzjackrabbit.com..tho for some strange reason list.jazzjackrabbit.com has always been down. Any ideas?i dont have any:confused: oh well.

I hope this isn't Epic taking the servers down permanently. They should at least have the decency to tell us. >=(
That's, of course, assuming it is Epic.

EDIT: Listservers are not down if you have Alberto's patch.

Good question. They've been down a lot lately.

I got to host the very last part of the last euro event because of this. Kind of an honour :p

yeah it wasnt realy that laggy but the importanste thing missed

Yeah the servers have been down quite alot lately. I hope Epic or who ever is controlling the listservers dosen't shut them down..for good! :eek:

I remember reading somewhere that even though logicware is down, Burger said he would leave the listserver up..

That dosen't matter, there's other list servers.
We'll just make a path in that case.

EDIT: Sorry, I was wrong. Although Syntax is hosting a dedicated server right now using monolith.idlegames.com

Everyone just use Monolith's list server.
Go to HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Epic Megames\Jazz Jackrabbit 2\1.23\List Servers in your registry and make monolith.idlegames.com the value data of one of the strings (000, 001, or 002). This will work even if you have Alberto's patch; just add a string value named 000 with data monolith.idlegames.com.

I heard from Spazzyman that Burger is just replacing the logicware list server (with a better one), so the logicware list server will be back up soon, no worries.

Indeed, it would be nice if this was possible. Unfortunately, permanently fixing the serverlist would require making the computer that serves it to never crash. And if you've ever used a computer, you know how possible that is. ;P
