YaY beach. I actually kinda like that idea, even though I hate swimming. Aleast on a beach there's more to do that just swimming, you can even play in the seasand and make huge castles (or even objects of questionale morality }>) andand hunt for seashells and all sorts of dumb beachy fun stuff. It seems like the in thing to do in summer anyway :D

Btw, we are actually talking about a 'proper' beach here right? I'm asking because I've seen beaches in South Africa and I've seen beaches in england and well...heh. Need I say more? ;)

This page is mine and there is nothing you can do about it...

Stijn Mar 2, 2004 06:43 AM

Sand castles! <3

The SlaYeR Mar 2, 2004 10:26 AM

We're talking about nude beaches.

ShadowGPW Mar 3, 2004 01:01 PM

anyone has pics of 2003.. lost all mine after a hd crash :(

Mar 4, 2004 10:53 AM

DON'T go do the "survival" thing, i did it and it wasnt fun, I had to swim in some kind a mud that looked like **** and so on, I'd say lets go to the beach, to echmod or cadwijk a. z. they have clean and quite qiet beach there...
good quality sand castle sand and fine seashells. too bad it is so hard to reach where its almost on the furthest west corner of holland..
i wanted to go last year to the theme park i was actually near it that day but i wasnt allowed to go because my parents didnt know you and thougt i was going to neverneverland with michal jackson or something XD. im defenaly comming this year unless were going to mud-survival...

Alex

[EDIT] *grabs bazooka from Shadows lil japanese movie and shoots Disguise* *grabs page* *runs off*

Electric Ir Mar 4, 2004 11:20 AM

Man, I know exactly what you mean. I didn't vote for survivaling either. Really, it's the most annoying ever. :+

The SlaYeR Mar 4, 2004 01:39 PM

You don't HAVE too come.

$tilettø Mar 4, 2004 02:00 PM

Survival can be fun, if your with the right people in a group. but getting dropped with everyone ? no thx?

and slay, dont you think that we already know that? it's good that people say how it is.. then you kinda know what to expect. gl for the ones who will go on survival :P

Monolith Mar 4, 2004 06:24 PM

Why not just skip the survival part and have a survival after party at someone's house? I guess the problem would be finding a suitable house for that.

Aiko Mar 5, 2004 05:02 AM

Well, if it's the survival thing or a LAN party, i probably won't be there. Those suck.

Theme park and bowling are also boring, because we were in a theme park last year.

Instead, i would like to see you half naked, so it's the beach/pool idea for me. The "hanging around in a city" concept could also be a lot of fun!

However, unfortunately most of you wanted an early date in July, so i eventually can't come anyway :-(

P.S.:
Shad, i still have all my photos from last year, on the other computer. Just iCQ me if you want them.

Enigma Mar 5, 2004 08:07 AM

Hmm, Aiko not being able to come... we can't allow that, can we? Dare I suggest two meetings, one in July and one in August? If we did the swimming thing in at least one of them: swimming usually isn't terribly expensive (especially not if we're going to a beach, and if it rains, we can look for a swimming pool nearby), so perhaps people could afford to come twice. How does that sound?

The SlaYeR Mar 5, 2004 08:08 AM

If i do one thing, half of you don't like it, if i do another thing the other half doesn't like it.

The poll was supposed too give an answer but it's fifty-fifty.
The reason i want too go for the survival thing is because the people that are voting in favorit of the survival trip aren't saying "I wont go too the meeting if we go to the beach." and the people that want too go to the beach keep complaining that they don't want too go on a survival trip but too the beach instead.

My favor goes out to the people that don't complain so much in here but are able too be a bit more mature about it.

Electric Ir Mar 5, 2004 08:16 AM

Aik0 should come >(

The SlaYeR Mar 5, 2004 08:20 AM

I'm not choosing any sides either and i didnt mean too be offensive when i said "You don't have too be there."

You can see that i didnt choose any sides because i voted for the swimming AND the survival thing.

Maybe we can be creative and combine those things.

Electric Ir Mar 5, 2004 08:43 AM

As a matter of fact, I don't really care what we're gonna do. Meetings are just nice :+ And even walking through the town can be FUN.

The SlaYeR Mar 5, 2004 08:51 AM

I think more people would be happy if we went too the beach.
So i suggest we do that, i hope that everyone is happy with this idea.
(Hehe, i know that i am, less too arrange :P)

We should go too Scheveningen though, it's near The hague which is easy too reach by Train, the Tram stops outside of the trainstation and brings you too the center of Scheveningen (it almost stops on the beach heh)
I hope that everyone likes this idea, there will be more too do then just hang at the beach, there is an arcade hall and everyone that does not like too hang around at an arcade hall or swimming can get drunk and pass out if they want too.
I hope that all of you remember the true idea behind the meeting though, which is being togheter as a group and spend some time togheter.

FQuist Mar 5, 2004 09:26 AM

Beach is fine with me. If we have time left and we don't know anything to do with it we can also go to Madurodam and smack those wacky brits and luxembourgians around with models of the binnenhof and those neat airplanes. Oh. And of course we can also tie them to the mini-railroad tracks. Fun!

So, where would the start/gathering point of the meeting be? Den Haag central station, the beach or someplace else?

The SlaYeR Mar 5, 2004 09:45 AM

Den Haag sounds good too me, i will probably get there via Tilburg where i'll meet our Belgian friends, Toxic Bunny and Newspaz.

FQuist Mar 5, 2004 10:02 AM

Toxic isn't Belgian. ;-)
I don't know if he will be living in Scotland or in Luxembourg during the time the meeting is held.

The SlaYeR Mar 5, 2004 10:10 AM

I know that he isn't i was summing up the people i meet there, funnypants =D

Mar 5, 2004 10:52 AM

I am comming, unless its right in the middle of my vacation or on saturday, when I work.
I think beach is ok and then to the madurodam.
Lets use Dutch placenames, its easier for referrence not to translate it.
I.E. the Hague is in Dutch Den Haag and so on its easier for the non-dutch.

Alex, <-- using my real name now.

mirrow Mar 5, 2004 06:56 PM

bleh you pervert beach guys you just want to see each other half naked !! don't deny it !!!

I m maybe coming ;p

$tilettø Mar 5, 2004 11:40 PM

So Toxic isn't Belgian..... but I am?

Enigma Mar 6, 2004 02:52 PM

Allow me to rephrase Slay's post:

"Den Haag sounds good too me, i will probably get there via Tilburg where i'll meet our Toxic Bunny, Newspaz and our Belgian friends."

You can't just become a Belgian like that, fiends. It requires years of rigorous training in stupidity.

I totally misread the sentence and I thought it said 'Enigma'.

Mar 7, 2004 01:45 AM

Is anyone gonna take that page back yet?
And Enigma you're quoted!

Alex

Ooh. Will I be a brit or a luxembourgian? One thing's for sure, I won't be Belgian. The NFPR (National Fried Potato Rate) could well be even higher than here in Scotland.
But I went n a school trip to Madurodam yeeears ago. Man, I was in primary school at the time. It could have been as much as a decade ago. I wonder if it's changed...

Spotty Mar 7, 2004 03:59 PM

Germany 0.o ,, might be a bit far for me..

WhiteFang Mar 8, 2004 03:59 AM

Heya, Frank just told me about this meeting. I probably can make it at the beginning of july, don't know exactly when I'll be having exams though. Is there a mailinglist or something, 'cause I hardly check the board... Before I miss the meeting again :P
Oh and I don't care where or what me do :)

The SlaYeR Mar 8, 2004 09:15 AM

Whitefang should definatly be there.
We can keep you up to date about everything.

We're going too the beach and that's it >|

mirrow Mar 13, 2004 08:29 AM

and longdrinks mmm nah ok :p
hm do you have palms in NL ?

Electric Ir Mar 13, 2004 09:22 AM

No, we don't have palms in the Netherlands.

FQuist Mar 14, 2004 01:00 PM

Electric Ir Mar 14, 2004 01:35 PM

The SlaYeR Mar 14, 2004 02:35 PM

I thought you liked muscled men ;-;

..::Goldy::.. Mar 15, 2004 04:45 AM

What will we do if it rains?

There ought to be something more fun than an arcade hall imho.

Unhit Mar 15, 2004 07:29 AM

BILLARD :D:D
and bowling
and everything :|
just some place with a lot of games of that kind would be cool imo.

Stijn Mar 15, 2004 08:47 AM

Arcade Hall :|
