Me and my team are modding quake3 so we have a whole new game.

and tnx but i allready knew i as a genious before did razz arena lol

NinJazz Oct 21, 2004 05:46 AM

how much Quake engine costs, do ya need to have Quake game on comp to use it?

piet Oct 21, 2004 05:47 AM

quake3 engine is free!!! you can mod unltill you die editing the quake3 source. but you need quake3 to test your mod ;)

NinJazz Oct 21, 2004 05:57 AM

where I can then get Quake3 engine? so, when you made Razz 3D Arena you didn't need to pay anything for the engines etc. ?

the ony thing that cost money is Quake3 itelf you need it as a base to play your own mod.

the engine (better call it source) of quake3 is online for free at idsoftware.com

NinJazz Oct 21, 2004 06:03 AM

oh, I see, thanks for answering ;)

do you have a date for it yet? or is it just as it was 3 months ago?

Hareoic Nov 5, 2004 12:46 PM

Cell shading is pretty good for this game. It gives it a more cartoonish look, which it's supposed to have.

Slaz Nov 21, 2004 11:26 PM

cooba Nov 22, 2004 07:48 AM

They don't use Quick 3 engine, mind you ;p

piet Nov 22, 2004 08:22 AM

cooba Nov 22, 2004 08:48 AM

Coney Nov 22, 2004 04:46 PM

Stijn Nov 24, 2004 08:02 AM

looks 1337.

Violet CLM Nov 24, 2004 01:17 PM

Huh, I'm impressed. That doesn't look too bad. The spaceship confuses me, though, as it looks nothing like any of Jazz's spaceships, but kind of resembles a giant LFG-2000.

piet Nov 24, 2004 10:42 PM

its kinda hard to make one, i dont like it myself :P

Stijn Nov 25, 2004 02:52 AM

The top of the space-ship looks sort of... flat. Could be perspective though. Is that map a remake of the "rocket map" in the jj3 demo?

piet Nov 25, 2004 07:32 AM

yes but its a bad replica :P

Olsen Nov 26, 2004 01:53 PM

finaly, more ppl start to like this game!

n00b Nov 26, 2004 08:08 PM

I have been a fan of this game since I first heard of it. Too bad I dont have Quake 3

piet Nov 26, 2004 11:26 PM

quake3 will become open source so we can compile a stand alone game that you can download for free and its legal :)

DoubleGJ Nov 27, 2004 02:12 AM

Yeah, I'm a fan of it too, but I haven't been playing it lately. I'm just waiting for a new version to come out.
