TBM: I don't know if a name like "FQuist's Clone" would be allowed or not, but it seems like it would be counterproductive after all the effort you put into being called "The Blaziken Master" instead of your old name. You also cannot change your name until the end of this month.

N0B0DY: The "Formerly" field is intended to tell other users who you are after a recent name change. It's not supposed to be a profile or vanity field. If it were used that way, its usefulness would be undermined.

DarkSonic: This thread is only for JCF name changes. There is currently no mechanism on J2O for name changes. If you really want your name changed on J2O you could talk to an active administrator there.

LittleFreak: Sorry for missing your post the first time. In the name change history I indicated your name change date as the date of the original request.

No problem :)

No you aren't. If you're banned you can't write anymore. :P

Why do you always think you get banned? You WON'T. Trust me, you won't.

LittleFreak Feb 15, 2005 11:19 AM

I've seen Flash's request to have that "formerly" thing forever. Can I have that too, with the 2 in my old name removed? (formerly: PHT)

Would be nice, as I'm still using my old name on Jazz2Online.

Thanks. :)

The next time he says he's banned, I don't know what I'm goign to do. I'm going crazy hearing him say this all the time, Stop SAYING it!!!

Ok, sorry, I feel better now. I edited this post.

Anyway, YOU WILL NEVER GET BANNED TBM! I can almost take a bet on that.

Anyway, I guess my post got deleted or something. I was saying that I keep thinking that you are a new member, LittleFreak. I'm too used to your old name, that I don't realize that he is you.

Darobi Feb 15, 2005 05:20 PM

Could you change my name to "Darobi" ?
and could you keep the formerly thing forever too? thanks

Sometimes happens to myself too, when seeing posts I wrote. :P

However, I call myself LittleFreak almost everywhere, and I don't like the old PHT.

You'll get used to it somehow I guess. :)

Tubz Feb 17, 2005 06:15 AM

Alright, for the first time ever, in JCF History, and I will be the only person so far to do, I'm changing for the second time. Finally, 5 months have passed. After 2 months of careful thinking, because I won't be able to change my name again until July, I decided that I would choose a name that I registered things with, but a name that I would only use for 1 forum. And thus....

Please change my name to "Tubz"

Newspaz Feb 19, 2005 08:09 PM

I'd like to change my name into Newspaz again.

Link Feb 19, 2005 09:39 PM

Newspaz: You may change your name to "Newspaz", but the former username field will not be added. Please confirm that you want this, as it will do nothing but preclude you from changing your name within the next five months.

Darobi, LittleFreak: Your former username fields will be kept until you wish otherwise. I've added this as a provision in the original post so more people are aware that it is possible.

Everyone should note that posts or parts of posts not pertaining directly to name changes may be removed.

snzspeed Feb 22, 2005 11:25 AM

I changed my mind about the name change.

Gah! You take all the fun out of it ;)

Grytolle Feb 26, 2005 09:57 AM

I am quite sure that I made an unworking account called "Grytolle". I would want that account removed and this account renamed to "Grytolle". Thanks=)

R3ptile Mar 2, 2005 11:17 AM

I'd like to be renamed to "r3p". People keep calling me Reptile and I really don't like it, then such a meaningless nickname would be perfect for me. Thank you.

Nevermind, sorry. :)

Grytolle Mar 3, 2005 02:29 AM

You would look better with a capitalized "r"... =P

Hazel-rah Mar 3, 2005 05:47 AM

Keep the 3, r3p

Am I allowed to ask to be changed to "PeesInTheShower" hehe it's funny and we're about to find out if it gets cencored when I hit reply..

Link Mar 5, 2005 09:07 AM

Snooze: Does that mean you want your name changed back to "Snooz"?

Michael: That would probably be allowed (I'd say it is, but I'm not sure what the other administrators would think), but are you sure you would want to be called "PeesInTheShower" for five months?

Nope, he wanted to be changed into "SnoozE the GoosE" or something on those lines, but he changed his mind.

snzspeed Mar 5, 2005 03:02 PM

no, i was thinking another name, but i'd rather stay as Snooze.. like i used to be.

Nitro Mar 6, 2005 05:35 AM

Link it's a funny name that often brings a smile on people, and I won't die if I regret it.
Plus I can't blame anyone but myself for it if I regret it, thank you for checking if I am sure though. (: Ask the mods if they think it's fine and if it is, go ahead change it hehe.

Nitro Mar 7, 2005 08:13 AM

There's your proof Trafton. I don't mean all people by the way.

Keleet Mar 7, 2005 12:45 PM

Could you change my name to "Keleet" please. Merci.

Nitro Mar 11, 2005 01:57 AM

Link have the mods reached a verdict..?

Link Mar 11, 2005 09:27 PM

Michael, unfortunately you can't change your name to "PeesInTheShower" at this time. While the name is questionable on the JCF, it is also not representative and the administration feels that it's not really a serious name. If you don't like the name "Michael", you can still change it to something else, but try to think of something that is more like a name and that people would be more willing to call you. You can put the requested name in your custom title if you really want it.

Also, several posts in this thread were deleted for being off-topic.

Nitro Mar 12, 2005 02:55 AM

The name is questionable: can you please make the discision of if it is or is not allowed, I think it seems alright but that's just me. d:
Representative: I was going to save this one for later, but.. actually it is, sometimes I do pee in the shower instead of before hand in the toilet, to save the flush water (which is around 8 litres) and use the shower's flow to flush, since there is a water crisis in Israel.
Serious: I have had this whole week to seriously reconcider, and I still want it, so I am serious and it is representative.
I want a differant name, people can still call me by it though "he who pees in the sower".
If I would register like a new guy with that name, it would be allowed, correct? if so then the way I see it, I should be able to change it to that as a registered user too.
Pls reconcider since the only probler now is that the name is questionable because of it's content about the rules.

Ragnarok! Mar 12, 2005 05:08 AM

Actually, on J2O, it would be nice if you changed Sabaspaz to Ragnarok. ;p If you can. Please and thanks ;/

I asked to change my name there as well, but you have to ask a J2O admin for that. I'll have to ask as well.

Ragnarok! Mar 12, 2005 05:21 AM

;( how sux

Sonyk Mar 13, 2005 11:29 AM

Okay, here's a question that I don't think was asked. Are we allowed to use those funky-like ASCII characters that a lot of people use in Jazz2? It'd be hard to log in, but...

DoubleGJ Mar 13, 2005 12:06 PM

I have this upside-down question mark from Spanish charset. It makes logging in harded but I usually don't read JCF from other PCs so I don't have to log in too often.

DanYjel Mar 15, 2005 12:36 PM

I hardly want to be DanYjel on place of terrible danyjel... I wrote it once when I was really tired and now it sux everywhere...

:):0 Mar 15, 2005 09:04 PM

Change mine to Crabgoon.

White [VS] Mar 20, 2005 12:21 AM

Change my name to White89 please

Link Mar 20, 2005 09:58 AM

:):0 and White [VS], you cannot change your names until five months after registration. This will be in August and May respectively. However, if you have other accounts on the JCF and wish to fix names, we might be able to make exceptions to the five month rule.

Sonyk, any ASCII characters should be fine.
