One team from each country seems to have been the idea. And of course that should be the best team

Vegito Nov 26, 2006 10:35 AM

Sure, from the Netherlands 5. Who do you have in thought?
Dont get me wrong but I dont see active Dutch players anymore.
Maybe because Im not in servers anymore. ;p

Correct.

Sucer: That's not what a National Tourney is about...
It's but one team per country. I never thought you
wouldn't understand that...

Nice thinking Veg!!1

Sucer Nov 27, 2006 02:31 AM

Lol, but then some people might not get the chance to play:P

lol! just like i dont play in sweden's national soccer team!!

Sucer Nov 27, 2006 05:54 AM

But Soccer is so popular anyway. We don't wanna hurt anyone's mind do we? I vote that if Finland's noobs want to gather round and form a Finland team number 3 with the players Alpo, Saphir and me, we can do it!

snzspeed Nov 27, 2006 07:17 AM

i think we should rather do 1 big team then 3 small teams :<

Ragnarok! Nov 27, 2006 11:08 AM

It might be an interesting concept. Sad thing however, there are 4 people from England... 2 of them you'll never catch online... I could convince my brother, but that makes 2.. >O

Good luck in trying to pull it off.

Raven aka StL Nov 27, 2006 11:46 AM

Sucer (and Snz): It is indubidably ONE team per country. No more than one. Otherwise it'd break standards and routines...

Also, if enough players can't be found from a country, that country sits out.
It is that simple.

And furthermore, people don't vote for rules nor stipulations, which is final. You may suggest something though, but at your own risk anyway.

KRSplat Nov 27, 2006 08:08 PM

No one has spoken for my country yet, so I volunteer to represent the USA, even though I have really have no place in a JJ2 tournament amongst skilled Jazzers.

Raven aka StL Nov 28, 2006 12:41 AM

That's good, that's good, but it's still not yet the time to sign up any teams.

Sucer Nov 28, 2006 05:29 AM

But if it's a 3vs3 tourney Finland will have like 5 players that would want to play and that are skilled left out of the tourney. But that doesn't matter?

Raven aka StL Nov 28, 2006 06:20 AM

Indeed it doesn't, but it's also yet to be announced will it be 3 or 4 players per team... till then, I'd like people not to think they can alter any rules...

[GpW]Urbs Nov 29, 2006 08:57 AM

Hell yeah, there's some people from Slovenia playing last time i checked, we'd whoop your sweet behinds we would.
Watch out cuz The Mighty Ducks of Slovenia are in the hood!

Uhm so is this thing serious or was my threat fully in vain?:)

EDIT: Ohh and, Slovenia votes for 3 players per team:)

snzspeed Nov 29, 2006 09:08 AM

i think it would be the best to let countries choose as much players as they want to a team altough only 3 could play

Raven aka StL Nov 29, 2006 11:25 AM

Urbs, yes, you may call this serious.
And the player limit is yet to be confirmed...
It may end up being 3, 4 or 3-4 players per team.

Snz: No.

Hmm, well I'll consider it...

[GpW]Urbs Nov 30, 2006 04:48 AM

Ya backups.
Anyhow, i sure hope them darn slovenian people still play this here game otherwise im in a rather tight spot. But hell i think i can whoop Sweden anyday:)

We are red we are white we're slovenian dynamite!!

Grytolle Nov 30, 2006 12:06 PM

No way man!!! I have like 6 unknown backups

[GpW]Urbs Dec 1, 2006 07:48 AM

Ahh u've gotta be kidding me, who's ever heard or the swedes being good at anything?:)

maverick Dec 2, 2006 05:24 AM

A month has already passed since you started the thread Wallace and still haven't got any rules?

[GpW]Urbs Dec 2, 2006 07:30 AM

hmm, no offence against any1 here, but it would probably be a good idea to kind of have a board of a few interested people who would run this thing. And of course the rules should be discussed on these forums as should everything else, so that the tournament doesnt end up a total flop.

Raven aka StL Dec 2, 2006 12:16 PM

Hasty hasty...

This is gonna be given time to plan, just be patient or steal my idea, your choice.

It's not like no-one else has come up with this idea before , but i'd like to see you arranging this now.

cooba Dec 2, 2006 01:07 PM

The winter holidays sounds like a good time to organise a tourney.

Raven aka StL Dec 2, 2006 04:26 PM

For myself, that'd be 4 or 5 days...

Grytolle Dec 3, 2006 07:20 AM

Better yet: Organize it before, and play it during the holidays(!)

Raven aka StL Dec 3, 2006 10:07 AM

I'm accepting volunteers to organize it.
If you're sure you can do that, then tell me.

EDIT: bolded, because some certain fool misunderstood this...

Raven aka StL Dec 4, 2006 05:51 AM

Btw... Please start signing in teams of 4 players (and 2 possible back-ups)

Just to see how many we'd get..

Oh and... here's Finland:

-SuperJazz
-Snooze
-St. Louis
-Sucer

Possible back-ups for now:

(5). Hipper
(6). Chaoslord

Grytolle Dec 4, 2006 06:56 AM

What I said before still stands, however you might wanna exclude the 2 non Swedish players, as they will probably not move here(!)

Raven aka StL Dec 4, 2006 07:09 AM

(?) Sweden:

-Linuz
-Grytolle
-cArle
-hashuz
-IcyStorM
-StinizZz

Sasik Dec 4, 2006 08:32 AM

Raven aka StL Dec 4, 2006 11:14 AM

Cool, I never actually doubted that for a second.

Anubis Dec 4, 2006 12:18 PM

Where are the usa legends :x

Vegito Dec 4, 2006 12:59 PM

If you get a team FireSworD, DizZy, Spotty (Sal) (aka: DM) play, I'll play for the Netherlands. ;( As I never played a serious match against them as a team. And I still want to find that out.

Else, nah, I'm out x) lol.
(So the chance Im out is about 99% xD)

Raven aka StL Dec 4, 2006 11:17 PM

Bah! :p

You're right, it'd be very enjoyable to have them play, alas, it's necessary to doubt it.

Grytolle Dec 5, 2006 01:28 AM

You should better start playing some again then, Veg

Vegito Dec 5, 2006 02:07 AM

Nope.
