Bblair was hard.. I was worried for a while.. I even think he lead, don't remember.. But somehow I ended up winning^^ Zaitox was easy, he didn't know enough tricks

I'm glad to see Gry finally finished his first duel ;)

Grytolle Feb 24, 2007 12:39 PM

Haha. Sneaky, Stephan! ;/

Sucer Feb 25, 2007 12:49 AM

NovaStar vs. Sucer

NovaStar hosted both rounds because there was no other host available and my host lags everyone to death.

1st round: NovaStar chose Happy Jungle CTF

The level is quite small and I was able to get the blaster PU all the time and with that lame Emma to death 5 times and that was enough.

Score: 5-0 to Sucer

2nd round: Sucer chose Semi

Her bblair file was corrupted and I wanted to +pick a level where I was "sure to win". Here she started off by killing me with seeks that didn't hit me, but I forgot the 500ms lag which means that the seeks are really 0,5 sec journey closer to me than normal. Fortunently for me, I was a bit faster and managed to recapture. Then I scored some points and she did too, only one point tough, and so I won:(

Score: 5-1 to Sucer

Please sign up for my tournament here. There are 6 spots left, so please hurry up. You can find the participating players, a mappool (which isn't binding) and the rules there.

I will announce the groups as soon as I have enough players (which is hopefully tomorrow). The tournament won't use really strict deadlines, but just finish your matches as soon as possible.

Check the site for more information.

and Plase added forum to site !

Jerrythabest Feb 26, 2007 08:39 AM

is a forum really needed for this? this thread even isn't all that active:roll:

Grytolle Feb 26, 2007 10:01 PM

(-). So don't revive it unless you've played a duel :(

snzspeed Mar 7, 2007 08:51 AM

Snooze vs Jerry

5-0 BBswing
5-2 marshland

2-0 for snz, and i also want to say that i think i underestimated jerry during these matches. oh well, learned another thing.

Jerrythabest Mar 7, 2007 09:42 AM

I were completely unconcentrated on the first match in BBswing (like you would play in B-serv) because I were talking with my cousin at the same time ( you really can't say "leave me alone I'm busy playing a bunnygame") but marsh went quite well. I actually thought Snooze would be a harder opponent  I maybe overestimated him ;) or he just had a bad day or so:H

Grytolle Mar 7, 2007 11:07 AM

You can, Jerry. And if you can't, just say "BRB TV" or something ;P

Jerrythabest Mar 7, 2007 01:28 PM

well, both snooze and quickz have waited far too long for me already so I couldn't do that too ;p

I would've lost anyway, and I'd love to do some unofficial rematch sometime to see what i could've done ;p

Grytolle Mar 7, 2007 04:36 PM

You sure aren't clever. You're supposed to say BRBTV to your cousin.

Quickz Mar 9, 2007 05:52 AM

Okay, 2 duels to go to decide who will be no. 1 and 2, which are:

Group 4 - Anakin vs. Snooze
Group 6 - Chiyu vs. DarkSonic

Anyway, two matches have been played in the 1/8 finals, so go and play yours :) !

Jerrythabest Mar 9, 2007 06:17 AM

oh I'm not the only one to play one more match lol

Vegito Mar 9, 2007 06:40 AM

No, lets duel Squirrel X( ;p

Grytolle Mar 9, 2007 08:28 AM

Yeah, but first duel Superjazz and FireSworD so those old tournaments are finished.

Sasik Mar 10, 2007 12:16 PM

Well, so I won Enig 5-3 (DW) and 5-4 (Bbswing). Both duels were a lot of fun. Especially bbswing which was really close and I was losing at the beginning (it was 2-4 already;o) ;P GG, Enig.

Thx to sweet for hosting both rounds. It's really hard to find host these days...

R3ptile Mar 11, 2007 11:41 AM

1/16 finals: R3p vs. Quickz

5-0 in Diamondus Warzone
4-5 in Jungle's Edge
5-2 in Security Breach v2

Thanks to NS and Gry for hosting!

Sucer Mar 18, 2007 12:00 AM

Finish your duels dudes!!!! I wanna get to the playoff's already:D

Raven aka StL Mar 18, 2007 05:56 AM

Emp vs Vegito

Sasik hosted everything.

Round 1
Level: Medieval Skyscrapers (Veg's choice)
Emp 2 - 5 Vegito
This didn't noticably lag at all. After I had seized the lead (2-1) Vegito took control of the level due to my extremely stupid mistakes. GG.

Round 2
Level: Happy Semiconductor CTF (Emp's choice)
Emp 1 - 5 Vegito
I had some airs and other kinds of lag in combination with a intentionally inflicted 3hk (Veg). Vegito took control on the early goings and didn't make mistakes. GG.

Stijn: Filter bypass edit. You get a subwarning for this, as you very well know such things are forbidden.

Vegito Mar 18, 2007 05:59 AM

2nd round:

Veg Vs. Emp. Level: Medieval Skyscrapers (Veg). Host: Sasik. Score: 5-2.

Ah well, I had problems at the start actually. He lead 1-0, then he lead 2-1.
I pretty much took control over the level at that point and he was pretty much finished in no time at all. He was doing well at the start though.

Veg Vs. Emp. Level: Semi (Emp). Host: Sasik. Score: 5-1.

This was pretty easy for me. It was a bit more laggy for him I think, looking at 2 3hks he got. I never even had the feeling he got any close to me. He kept doing the same trick over and over again, resulting in me killing him 4 times, and he killing me 1 time by doing so. Each 4 kills were 2 fast hits. Heh.
Anyways. GG I guess. I had fun.

Edit:

Errr. I wasn't even sure you had fake 3 and you told me to score after the 3hk. I wanted you to recapture even, as I didn't notice you had fake 3 either. It was not with intention.

Stijn: Previous quotation edit

Never mind. I meant that you waited at base and shot rf all over as soon as I entered. However, that is completely legal, it was just... evil.

gg, let's duel again some other time, after I've trained myself into shape again.

Jerrythabest Mar 19, 2007 10:51 AM

Don't expect me to play soon, my PC crashed and there's test weeks coming again. I have no idea yet, when my PC will be back working, and (actually very bad) I have no idea which tests I have on which day so I can't say when I've got free time either. Hope to know tomorrow or so.

Nvm, you're not through anyway (I forfeited the matches of Night)..

For the others: let's try to finish the 1/8 finals before sunday..
Especially Chiyu - DarkSonic and Anakin - Snooze, thanks :)

Sucer Mar 30, 2007 02:07 AM

Can someone find out if Maverick is interested to play our duel or not:P

Raven aka StL Mar 30, 2007 02:50 AM

That'd be you?

Quickz Mar 30, 2007 01:36 PM

Upper Bracket - Last 16

Vegito - Wallace (5-2 5-1)
Maverick - Sucer
Grytolle - Squirrel (somewhere next week)
DarkSonic - Enigma (0-5 2-5)
R3ptile - Quickz (5-0 4-5 5-2)
Sperry - Chiyu (wednesday 20.30 CET)
Yasco - Anakin
Sasik - Superjazz (4-5 5-4 2-5)

So, since the schedule is complete now, try to finish your matches asap, please.

Sasik Apr 8, 2007 04:41 AM

Well, so I dueled SJ.

1st round: Knightmare Castle (Viv's choice)
Score: Sasik vs SJ 4-5
Comments: I was winning 4-2 already D= Too bad I had 3hk at the end and Viv scored P=

2nd round: Diamondus Warzone (my choice)
Score: Sasik vs SJ 5-4
Comments: He was winning 4-2 already =D

3rd round: Jungle's Edge (our choice)
Score: Sasik vs SJ 2-5
Comments: well, this was weird. I was winning 2-1 but SJ had to go, so we continued this next day and well, there were some 3hk's so we started playing from 1-1 (or sth like that). Though I still don't understand what happened here.

Thanks to Sweet for hosting all rounds.

DarkSonic Apr 8, 2007 12:18 PM

I just played my duels against Enigma and I have no idea what happened.

BBSwing: 5-0 Enigma
Zaitox: 5-2 Enigma

Comments: Well, this proves that I haven't dueled in weeks. Everything went wrong in BBSwing, I was good at the start but then something happened. In Zaitox he was probably better, but I made some very stupid mistakes. And I missed the flag once.

Stijn Apr 8, 2007 12:21 PM

I hope me joining mid-game didn't cause any problems or lag?

Enigma is on a roll today, it seems ;)

Enigma uses his brain and that makes him a very strong duellist. I always have hard time beating him. (I usually lose to him, like in this tournament:()

So Maverick what do you think shall we play the game next
Saturday 19.00CET?

I thought that everyone does. Too bad if there are exceptions (you?).

And haha, I beat Enig 2 times in this tourney XD

Grytolle Apr 9, 2007 03:07 AM

As to conclude Sasik's brain is asskik

Goes to show that veteran players don't rust easily.

(-)(-)(-) happened to you then? You have been playing jj2 online for ten years now according to your own words, and two years ago everyone thought you were a newb because you joined J2o with a new name and played jj2 like a newb.

And yea sasik everyone uses his or her brain to some extent, but I don't think that much when duelling unless I have to. (and because I don't think and I still win I guess the others don't think either)

Raven aka StL Apr 11, 2007 11:52 AM

Your post was completely off the point and also a bunch of nonsense, mostly.
JJ2, as we all know, didn't exist ten years ago, so what you're saying is obviously a bunch of bull.
And I was talking about Enigma, what has that got to do with me or you?

Enigma Apr 12, 2007 01:11 AM

(If you must know, I still suck. I think DS just had a bad day or something)

Raven aka StL Apr 12, 2007 01:39 AM

No you don't suck.
I haven't seen you play bad. Not once.

Grytolle Apr 12, 2007 07:25 AM

Enigma is too modest. <3

DarkSonic Apr 13, 2007 01:54 PM

Well, the 5-0 loss in Swingin' Jazz was very unexpected because I haven't lost like that there in months. And I hadn't played a duel for some time when I played it, so that might explain it as well.
