Cool, but yeah there are too many on J2O right now. Besides I dunno what I'd remake.

Grytolle Jul 10, 2007 12:54 AM

crappy remake > crappy original level

Errr... No. The level is already awesome enough. Nothing needs to be remade.

That was exactly my point! =p

n00b Jul 12, 2007 05:47 AM

What!? Curse you for making me not understand your point.

ThunderPX Jul 12, 2007 07:48 AM

It was already awesome, and yet it was made more awesome through remakes.

n00b Jul 13, 2007 07:25 AM

Actually Cooba's original remake sucked before I removed alot of the eyecandy crap and added a death pit.

It looks so much like Ninjadodo's beach level his Lost World episode.
Probably because there's also a beach, and Jazz is travelling to the right. Oh, and the sky is blue too. :p

You mean, like in every platform game, ever?

Well, as he made the tileset it might just be an unreleased version.

There's tons of platformers that don't revolve around "go right". There's quite a few Jazz 2 levels, official and fan-made, that don't use this concept.

I'd still like a copy of the tileset with a beach. That particular tileset happens to be one of my favorite, and a beach addition would be really neat for my own levels.

All done.

I suppose, but it's still unreasonable to say a level looks like another one just because you have to go right.

Something. . .

The first screenshot looks great. Nice background and use of tiles. The second screenshot looks a bit different, but it's also pretty nice. Those tiles are placed well.

Hmm, yeah.. no comment.

Darksonic: It would look great if the tileset would be less pixelated. Really.

FreeFull: You're post would be useful if it actually commented on the level and not on a tileset used in some pretty great levels. Really.

Dermo Jul 26, 2007 10:03 AM

I thought of possibly making a mario pack kinda like a copy of the super mario brothers 3 I already got a first level done!

How many levels there are by the way?

Levels? Of SMB3? I dunno, 50+?

Dermo Jul 26, 2007 12:11 PM

i was thinking just the first episode if that. My tileset doesn't have all the required tiles. I'm not planning to remake the entire game. That would probably be considered piracy at the same time too.

I mean in Drmoo's pack :p

Dermo Jul 26, 2007 12:26 PM

well since the game has 6 levels in the first episode and than the castle, they'll probably be 7 levels.

Ragnarok! Jul 26, 2007 02:16 PM

I would love to see you implement the ship levels.
