minmay Jun 27, 2006 05:50 AM

I second that.

MSB3000 Jun 27, 2006 11:38 AM

Me too.

(Wait, where are we going after we give her the chips?)

minmay Jun 27, 2006 01:13 PM

We're going to another gem room.

Xobim Jun 28, 2006 01:03 AM

Stop whining about Leetzan and the bag of crisps/chips, we need to solve a puzzle here! >O

Raven aka StL Jun 28, 2006 06:10 AM

I'm all for Jazzmusic's idea ;)

Who is whining? Everyone so far has so far agreed to give her the chips. The problem is, Rad hasnt updated, so we really cant do much.

Strato Jun 28, 2006 10:01 AM

Perhaps it's a sign that he disaproves of your plan?

Xobim Jun 28, 2006 10:06 AM

In a certain way...
We don't get any further with just doing random stuff, and Rad will probably also find it annoying.

n00b Jun 28, 2006 10:07 AM

We really don't have a plan eitherwise, and we've already spent a page agreeing on the chips part. IMO just give her the (-) chips, go to the room Minmay said to move to, and let's get a (-) move on.

Radium Jun 28, 2006 11:57 AM

Sorry guys, WC3. Forgot this existed.

I walked back east into the room with L33tz4n. "L33tz4n," I offered, "would you like a bag of chips?" I held up a bag of chips to add illustration to my statement.
"Oh, no thanks," she said, "I'm not hungry."
I suddenly felt a bit hurt, kind of like days of planning had gone to waste. "Are you sure?" I asked, "I can open the bag for you."
"Yes... I'm sure."
"Oh. Okay." I decided I should probably make this less awkward by examining stuff. I went over to the skeleton; the cracks under it looked to be long frozen over. I stabbed them a bit with my spear, but it bounced back off without doing any damage. I thought I could make out something long moving under the ice, but it was too distant to identify.
Next, I travelled north to the fountain room, north again to another hallway, and through the glowing door to the west.
This room had two crystals in it. One was shaped like a raindrop, or a sphere with a pointy top. The other was a sort of rounded triangle, or like a sphere with three distinct points on it.

E, E. Open a bag of chips and eat a chip.

EDIT: And read the Tarot Cards.

Ae Jun 28, 2006 08:48 PM

And pick up the rounded triangle crystal then put the sleepingbagcrystal in its place.

Puffie40 Jun 28, 2006 11:49 PM

I feeling a little ticked right now...

DON'T SCREW WITH THOSE CRYSTALS!

And forget the bloody chips. You are irritating rad >:(

Let's try what Cooba suggested back in page 1. rotate the crystals so the points on them are pointing left (Assuming we are facing NORTH, point them to the WEST)

cooba Jun 29, 2006 01:47 AM

(-), how can people be so dense?

DO NOT REPLACE ANY CRYSTALS.

Raven aka StL Jun 29, 2006 05:20 AM

Do not interact with the crystals at all*

Ae Jun 29, 2006 06:50 AM

What else is there to interact with?

minmay Jun 29, 2006 06:53 AM

I agree with Cooba, Puffie, and Wallace. I mean, we've already impaled ourselves six times. Although not interacting with them at all is stretching it a bit; we can go ahead and rotate them/slide them around. Just don't pick them up or take them out of the room.

EDIT: And I don't think I'm irritating Rad by having Faw eat a chip.

Xobim Jun 29, 2006 07:56 AM

The tarot cards might hold a hint or something. Go E, S and ask Araches if she knows how to use tarot cards.

minmay Jun 29, 2006 08:00 AM

And ask her if she knows what it feels like to be impaled.

EDIT: And draw L33tz4n in the sketchbook.

Raven aka StL Jun 29, 2006 10:00 AM

Can u btw summon multiple mythslayers at a time?
(iow. have multiple mythslayers alive at once?)

Risp_old Jun 29, 2006 10:02 AM

Once you cast a spell you can't cast it again for another several hours/for the rest of the battle, so we have never had a chance to see if we can summon multiple mythslayers.

minmay Jun 29, 2006 10:21 AM

I'd expect it to be possible, but what would you do with a whole bunch of summons outside of a battle?

n00b Jun 29, 2006 11:06 AM

I think Emp wishes to use the Mythslayers as a bunch of test dummies if we ever need to pick up the crystals ever again.

Com'on guys! All we are doing is running around like chickens with their heads cut off doing stupid things. LOOK AT COOBA'S REASONING AT PAGE 1

LOOK AT IT!
LOOK AT IT!
LOOK AT IT!

We have tried picking up the crystals (With painful results) So now lets try rotating them. Logically, these traps don't activate until the crystal leaves it's place, so if the crystal rotates while on the same spot...

n00b Jun 29, 2006 11:41 AM

Have we ever rotated them before?

MSB3000 Jun 29, 2006 11:48 AM

No, and we should try.

n00b Jun 29, 2006 11:58 AM

Then let's rotate the ones in this room and see what happens.

No particular direction, just rotate them and see if they don't kill us.

minmay Jun 29, 2006 12:24 PM

Actually, before Faw put down the crystal and got impaled, he rotated the pyramid a little. It didn't hurt him. So it should be safe.

...and no matter who picks up the gem/puts down the crystal, Faw is the one that gets impaled. This puzzle is, I believe, built so that the third time we pick up a gem/put down the crystal, Faw dies and we restart.

n00b Jun 29, 2006 12:27 PM

That or the red herring is built that way, if it turns out the gems have nothing to do with the solution

minmay Jun 29, 2006 12:42 PM

Maybe the solution is to impale Faw.

Raven aka StL Jun 29, 2006 12:42 PM

N00b, you got that right (mythslayers)
btw...
I just figured some weird idea, but I might be teh lottery winner with it...
examine (carefully) the crack in the floor next to the skeleton (at the campsite??)

MSB3000 Jun 29, 2006 12:58 PM

But first rotate a gem a little to the left.

minmay Jun 29, 2006 01:07 PM

And another one a little to the right.

I hoped not.

Well then it wouldn't work, as stated no matter who does the removal, Faw gets impaled. Do you hate him that much?

minmay Jun 29, 2006 03:01 PM

Yeah, poor Faw. D=

MSB3000 Jun 29, 2006 03:25 PM

Poor L33tz4n.

minmay Jun 29, 2006 03:39 PM

Why, what happened to Leetzy?

MSB3000 Jun 29, 2006 06:33 PM

Off a cliff...

We already did:

So there.

Spin (not move!) the pointy edges of figures to the left?
So, Point the crystals to the WEST!

Raven aka StL Jun 30, 2006 12:59 AM

Puffie, NO!!
The shape of the crack, I just thought if the crystal thingies are from the crack (pretty bs idea, but I've got nothing else for now) :(

edit: plz do it AFTER moving the pointy ends of the crystals towards west...
