I have that problem with carrotade too, at times. I just have to try opening jj2 and carrotade some 20 times, then it works! ++stuff

It might be a good idea to allow more than one account for an email adress, as I've lost the activation email twice on both of my accounts, and I can't log in (obviously) because of that.

'Resend activation mail' would be a better option then.

It isn't like there's a "forgot password" option either, which was my second option, until I also retried making the account on another email address of mine and then tried to log in, still didn't work. Probably the activation email.

As for half of the world the (happy) new year allready has begun, it still has to arrive here in the Netherlands.

The server will be turned ON around 6:15 PM (18:15) GMT+1 (Dutch Time). I'll try to have it turned on as long as possible.

On this host you can try many new things!! There have been added 2 quests (one storyline and one normal quest) and 2 skills. Furthermore have all the bought houses been updated and are provided with a name of its owner.

You mean HOST it. I only was in the first time, and I think there were only like 3 times the server was up ]:

A month and a half has passed and this has been hosted three times? I'm actually afraid of getting hooked into it, if you're hosting it so rarely.

You need multiple hosters if you aren't bothering to do it all by yourself (which really can be a pain...)

Don't worry!! As we once said "You may have not heard of us for a while, and thats because we where working on a super secret project [..]", and we still are working on it!

As KRSplat guessed, we are still in a beta stage with KS.. We still try to improve things, add more quests and skills, remove bugs, add more and remove more.. We want to have it -almost- perfect.

And these things cost time. But dont think that we've stopped, that would be the last thing we would do with KS.

Currently we are trying to set up a 24/7 KS server, which probably might even be running within a month.

So hold on everyone! You can play Karrot Shire soon enough again. Don't worry.

Shouldn't you aim for perfect? Also, a 24/7 sounds cool, but how about hosting it once in awhile til then? :(

The current version has some new features and quests, and of course we will be adding more stuff as we go along. The last quest we have right now is actually hard, by the way.

4AM here, just finished playing. I need to control myself better... And even if I got sucked in, I felt lonely most of the time. Without other players the whole land seems lifeless despite all the NPCs... Maybe you could at least put some butterflies in wildlife areas... Also I wish enemies could somehow work in this. Are you going to try implement some baddie-frying quests? That would be more interesting, I think. Or maybe just make it possible to fight some for money (and maybe experience if you're thinking of adding it among dignity) instead of making it just float around in places? If you're opting for an MMORPG style, this would definately make it more noticeable.

Good points. I think I will try to make a fightable bot next, to make things more interesting on that front. I agree that the inactivity is sad - the best alternative would, I think, us being online all the time so people always have someone to fight or to chat to. The downside, of course, is that Carrotpie and I do have lives, so we simply can't be in the server at all times.
24/7 hosting, or (hopefully a bit more) regular hosting?
