New release (6.6h)
I really need to go to bed, so here's a link to the J2O news post. In a day or two I'll figure out how to update a new build to GOG too, besides the autoupdater, but I don't have the time tonight. changelog |
Okay, 6.6h should be pushed to GOG GALAXY now. This includes everything from normal 6.6h, and also restores the original "rainbow.xm" music to Ae6GOG.j2l, because Blade was able to contact the music trackers and get their permission to include it with JJ2+.
This is the first time I've directly pushed an update to the GOG one-click-mod track. I'm told that their QA will do a "very quick check" before publishing the 6.6h offline installer to the GOG website. After this, offline installers for future releases will "very probabl[y]" be published automatically at the same time as GALAXY updates, we'll see. |
Anyone come up with any good playlists so far? Care to share?

Hi, sorry if I'm not supposed to write here, but I just can't find any Jazz related space that isn't 5+ yo.
I've downloaded JJ2+ from GOG Galaxy, and I've noticed that after you clear the stage, there's no jingle, you only hear your diamonds being counted and then the sounds of Jazz running to the next stage. Is that some glitch/error on my side, or for whatever reason was it removed? I remember it from the older version of the game that had the green logo. |
Welcome! You've found the JCF, the home of the JJ2 community, you're all good :)
I think you're talking about this bug report. From what I remember, it's a problem that Epic Games introduced in version 1.24, and the GOG version is based on 1.24. I have an internal build that's supposed to fix the problem from some years back, but I haven't gotten anyone on the plus team to actually look at it yet, and it generally feels better to have features tested before publicly releasing them. |
