No! Have you ever heard about ZZ Clan? ( :) ) Me too!

That's not a clan tag. And if it were a clan tag, what could my nick be?

Your nick would have been J@, I guess.

Logical, but sux! :r

Link Oct 3, 2005 02:37 PM

I've changed your name, J@[zz]. I apologize for the delay.

Slaz Oct 6, 2005 01:02 AM

The name 'Slaz' is just a modification related to Jazz and Spaz. Let's make it more original. Please make my name: Urslaz

LittleFreak Oct 6, 2005 03:46 AM

That sounds a lot like URJazz. So it's not original I guess. >~<

That guy is inactive as far as I'm concerned though.

Slaz Oct 7, 2005 07:08 AM

I don't change my name in order to steal other persons ideas. You know Slaz completely fits with the names Jazz, Spaz, Razz, etc. I just added the 'Ur' before it to make it look more originaly in that way.

LittleFreak Oct 7, 2005 09:15 AM

I didn't want to say you're steeling names. ;)

I just wanted to inform about the already existing ur thing. d=

Slaz Oct 7, 2005 09:30 AM

Ok, now I wait for Link to show up. :god:

FQuist Oct 7, 2005 09:32 AM

Link may have another opinion, my personal opinion is that the name looks too much like UrJazz's. This is an opinion and not a ruling of mine, and does not represent the other admins.

Slaz Oct 7, 2005 09:46 AM

There just are many Jazzes, Spazzes, and names related to that. And Slaz also looks much like that. And ur is an internet language version of 'you are' (or just looks like it), so I think Urslaz would be good. But let Link decide, when he comes.

Link Oct 7, 2005 10:41 AM

There's no rule that says you can't have a name that looks similar to another. You're clearly not doing this to copy or impersonate URJazz (whose 'UR' actually originates from a clan tag), and people will not confuse you. He hardly posts, anyway.

So I shall change your name to Urslaz.

Slaz Oct 7, 2005 11:43 AM

Thanks Link. And I even didn't knew that we had an Urjazz and the Ur in my name is not meant as a clantag, I explaned that in my other posts at here. I LOVE J2O!

So I could name myself FQuist. or something like that? (not that I wanted to though)

Slaz Oct 7, 2005 12:55 PM

Fquist is a taken name. But the rules never say that Aquist isn't allowed for you. :p

LittleFreak Oct 7, 2005 01:00 PM

Notice the little . at the end. =P

FQuist. would be completely possible. Maybe I'll change my name to LFQuist? ;D

snzspeed Oct 7, 2005 01:22 PM

I'd like to change my name to "Snooze@" for fun.

It was worth a try though.

Watch out! or you will see 'Originally posted by LFQuist' in this post the next time you login. :D

Sacrush Oct 15, 2005 01:12 AM

I would like to change my name to ''Sacrush''.

Thanx.

ThunderPX Oct 20, 2005 03:59 AM

I want the Da removed from my name. So it'd become ThunderPX. Because...the Da sucks.

GuMmYBeAr! Oct 23, 2005 11:20 AM

I would like to be renamed as Gummichael. Please.

Feline Oct 23, 2005 02:30 PM

Change it to Feline please (with caps).

VashTheStampede Oct 26, 2005 02:58 AM

Could you please change my name to

Dredd

thanks (and could you keep the previous username field on)

Stijn Oct 26, 2005 01:35 PM

Could someone remove my formerly tag please?

Link Oct 26, 2005 10:37 PM

I apologize for the backlog of requests. I'm right in the middle of midterms and have little free time. Other administrators should feel free to do them, but if not I'll get to them this weekend.

And please ensure that you actually want your name changed. It's very annoying to have to change them back. If people start abusing this service, it will be discontinued.

Nitro Oct 27, 2005 03:27 AM

Can it be made that my username is Nitro, and instead of it saying 'formerly: Michael' it will say a.k.a? or is this too much to request?

FQuist Oct 30, 2005 07:56 AM

The a.k.a thing would need an extra profile field in the database specially for you, which is a bit overkill. Alternatively you could change your custom title in "a.k.a Michael" but you would need to keep the formerly tag for a while even then. Do you still want to be changed to Nitro?

FQuist Oct 30, 2005 08:09 AM

Backlog processed. I did not rename Gummi because she changed her mind, and I will wait for Michael's confirmation before renaming him.

Nitro Oct 31, 2005 11:57 AM

Ok here's what I want you to do, kind sir, RIGHT NOW!

My old account Nitro rename to Michael, and this user......can this be like frozen or something? if not then make it keep my old name Nitro.
(So swap the names basically) what I get out of it is that I have an older 'registered date' and that my 'formerly' label will make sense. (:
I'll log on the other account now to verify.

I confirm. Carry on. [:

edit: the system isn't letting me have the same e-mail on both accounts, so how can i fix this? or can you fix it for me? the correct e-mail is on the michael acconut.

Link Oct 31, 2005 03:29 PM

I've swapped the names, and changed the email address in the now Michael account (old Nitro) to the one in the old Michael account (now Nitro). So they both have the same email address.

Do you want to keep the formerly field(s) indefinitely?

FQuist Oct 31, 2005 04:03 PM

I think Michael/Nitro wanted to go further than just swapping names. That he'd start to use the old account again and drop the newer one which is now Nitro.. so that he has an older registered date. Double accounts are forbidden, but I'm not sure if you already have two and you basically got through the system swapping them can be acted against.. I'd advise that Michael keeps using his newer account though, since it'd create confusion with his newer more recent posts not being searchable on his active account then. His newer account is his newer identity, and there should be easy access to recent posts by this user, and not only the old posts.

One thing that needs to be clear at least: do not use both accounts actively.

Nitro Oct 31, 2005 11:04 PM

I WANT the formerly tag to stay. (:
And the registered date is just a bonus.

Don't worry, the above is the only time I used both accounts activly. And that was for a technical reason too. And the warnings on both accounts can be balanced, like if I already had a warning on the newer account add it to here (unless that will get me banned now haha).

Michael Nov 1, 2005 04:58 AM

Is it possible to make the formerly tag permanent on this account? or like by changing it back to Nitro and then Michael again to restart the counter?

LittleFreak Nov 1, 2005 05:31 AM

By saying you'd like it to stay, it stays permanently, if that is what you wanted to know.
