I..er...don't quite understand why those buttstomp blocks are spontaneously getting destroyed when Jazz, who has taken rabbit growth hormones, is above them. Maybe it's his huge feet creating mini earthquakes? ;p

It was my first try at making a hoax, inspired by Sonic Rush and The New Super Mario Bros.(2d Platformers with 2d sceneary/tiles, but 3d models for characters)

And sorry about it being in .bmp, it's the best I can do on my Windows 98.(I am going to get a converter, so the above image will be switched out in a little bit).

Yeah, I found the tileset on a recent visit to J2C, and I have a stange fondness for it.

Heeey, that's really cool. It would be much cooler if it was bigger, though..

Fact remains that 3D sprites on a 2D plane look bad. It should be fully 3D with 2D -->GAMEPLAY<--. (HINT HINT SONICTEAM)

Not The New Super Mario Bros., that game looks great, however the models aren't 'poorly' resized in that game.

While this indeed isn't the best quality, it's at least something done correctly.

Yeah, NSMB looks cool. But in SR and this hoax, the models and the sprites just don't fit together (and the lighting's too dark)

Lighting? Those are the textures' and tileset's proper looks.

Jazz and the enemies are much too dark to fit in with that tileset.

1. it's a hoax because Spaz is not a borg.
2. it's a borg because he's not happycrazy like he usually is. he is also in darker shades of red. and missing his gun.
3. no. the yellow thing is supposed to be a tube. like all the borg have sticking through their head. i know, it's a big tube.

it's only my first hoax and i was just messing around.
