:ZOverrated games

[GpW]Urbs Sep 30, 2005 03:55 AM

They're not overrated. No one says u have to like em, but it's in these games that money is made. You can't exactly say they suck, cuz alot of the worlds gaming population says otherwise, but of course you don't have to like em.Sure it's a bit funny to compare jj2 tournaments to 1 million dollar tours and such, but still. There is a serious aspect to games of course, not to even mention that if people didn't find games important enough, we wouldnt be having this conversation.
Cuz the thing is, people can get just as angry online, as they do offline. So in this example alot of people are quite upset, it's only logical they take it seriously, it's not all that wrong as well I suppose, although it must look silly to 3rd party observers.
E-sports does sound funny though, but since top gamers basicly have to train daily, it's easy to find a comparison with sports. And if we look at how fast it's growing, and how much money these gamers are making(www.thecpl.com , www.ggl.com) I think it's safe to say, it will definetly become more known around the globe.
EHh a bit offtopic... just felt like saying EDIT: it..:)

#3. Also, that statement is kind of absurd if we consider what Reptile said. OMG J2F INFILTRATES TF, WHITE RABBIT IS VICE-LEADER THERE OMG AND WE DIDNT KNOW HES ACTUALLY FROM ANOTHER CLAN =((((

//e: now that i read through all the thread...funny one! I feel like saying something which would bring back some action to the discussion..but i think i better dont ;D

White Rabbit Sep 30, 2005 07:25 AM

I don't understand. :)

EDIT: I get it. ;P

Darn, I must've been inactive when he joined TF. :(

cooba Sep 30, 2005 10:35 AM

Can't CC just understand that they wouldn't win if they didn't cheat with LB like that?

Ðx Sep 30, 2005 11:11 AM

who knows

FQuist Sep 30, 2005 11:20 AM

Why wouldn't they win? Did they not beat most clans honestly, even though they didn't deserve the cup eventually because of the cheating?

cooba Sep 30, 2005 11:34 AM

Well I am sure that they would lose a clanwar there and there... if there was a CC vs [si] on SBv2, then CC would be just doomed, for example.

Ðx Sep 30, 2005 12:02 PM

how about reading this: http://www.craccoclan.com/truth.html

White Rabbit Sep 30, 2005 12:05 PM

Lol? :| We already did.

cooba Sep 30, 2005 12:07 PM

...Dx make sense please.

n00b Sep 30, 2005 12:44 PM

DX stop spamming, remaking the topic post, and saying a rather useless "Who knows"

Maybe :) If you think otherwise.. Lets do a clanwar there :-):-)
And why would we lose a clanwar there and there?
CC's poule was the other one as LB's.
So technically, we just did the same (except that we beat [Si] in the round except the semi-finals)
..And 'for example'
Make another example please :]]]

if [Si] was active and played more, we'd kick your (-) in SBv2 gg :)

Vegito Sep 30, 2005 03:41 PM

get R3ptile back and you have your jj2wc2 warteam again =]]

Anakin[CC] Sep 30, 2005 03:53 PM

Firstly, no... why would we?
Secondly... if you were right the only reason Sbv2 would be played was because R3ptile knew that his clan would end up second in his group (if it wasn't for LB, that is), and he also knew that the level they'd have the biggest chance was Sbv2. You can call this an unrighteous accusation, but deep inside you know I am right :)

Ohyes, and I also sort of agree with Anakin's flaming, which is probably edited out by the time I press "Submit Reply".

It's nice to see that FQuist seems to see things clearly.

[GpW]Urbs Oct 1, 2005 10:02 AM

Well cant argue with the fact that from what I know of the jj2wc2 warteams, and levels, C-C would most surely win anyway yes. But it is true on the other hand, the 1 fear C-C seemed to have was sbv2 and si, which was quite probable. I've seen them play there though, and can't say they don't get around ok.
Thing is, those are all big IF's, cuz [si] didn't make it to the semi's and C-C faked people, which ultimately lead to the nullification of jj2wc2, thus actually postponing the 2nd edition to january 2006. Although the way things look, it's quite probable C-C will have to fake half the clans on that tournament for it to even get started, due to the lack of active clans willing to participate...

Grytolle Oct 1, 2005 04:52 PM

Np, I already have 3 clans started :)

n00b Oct 1, 2005 05:45 PM

I can get two or three other people to be temporary members of the currently dead clan WT(b), and us be in the JJ2WC and let Craco Club(I mean Clan) pulverize us.

Vegito Oct 2, 2005 01:49 AM

heh..
well, we'll see that later in jj2wc3, Im afraid :O
