While I agree that it definetely qualifies as a classic, I did not include it because I felt that in a full bash server it would probably be too small. I'll take it into consideration though.

Classic level suggestion: Flood Control Dam CTF by GoleX

Raven aka StL Mar 29, 2008 10:59 AM

What about the near legendary Medieval Skyscrapers? :|
And yes, Happy Semiconductor is way too much a classic to leave out regardless of anyone's logic.

Also, PJ's list is fregn' awesome.

Distopia: 3 2002 levels on the list, and there are 2 other levels by EvilMike in already.
Cooba's suggestions: I went for Flood Control Dam CTF instead of Diamondus Mines. It's a level by the same author, but more popular (as far as I remember).

I disapprove of anything lolcat-related in the bash pack

PurpleJazz Mar 29, 2008 10:58 PM

Freaking has been removed.

FireSworD Mar 30, 2008 12:12 AM

Just tell me what is wrong with darkened factory?

From the screenshots, it seems a good porton of the level has been made, and what has been made looks pretty good. If Eigus is smart and wraps the level up (p4ul's part ofcourse) or convices p4ul to finish it.

Eigus Mar 30, 2008 01:18 AM

Actually FS, Darkened Factory is finished. I might even release it someday. Probably after AB10 though. ;O

Also, WTF is that Freaking?!?!

No offense to Eigus, but the rest is pretty bad. :( P4ul was planning to finish the level himself but never got around to do it AFAIK.

Raven aka StL Mar 30, 2008 03:08 AM

Nice list stijn.
It's only missing Genesis Reactor Core.

Stijn Mar 30, 2008 04:18 AM

Which was uploaded in 2007, while the list only goes to 2006?

Anyway, it hardly qualifies as a classic. Maybe it would fit in PJ's list, but it has no place in the classics list in my opinion.

NP Cooba, I don't think it's really that great either ;P That's the level selectors' choice to make it stay in the list or replace it with another level though, I guess.

cooba Mar 30, 2008 09:26 AM

Well yes, it's PJ and not you who's taking the potential blame :)

Wicked, I'll see if I'm able to take a break from revising for exams and drop in on the bash...

!Tman! Apr 4, 2008 09:14 PM

Hey,

Most of you remember me and Jman from back in the day. I decided to stop by because of this wonderful event. Looking back before my college years, The Jazzjackrabbit community was what Jman and I called family. You will never meet an online community as helpful and gracious as this. Im 19 now and I started playing at age 9. I truely grew up playing a rabbit and what a blast it was. If this game dies I truely hope that the community doesn't. For everyone here that helps run this site and keep the game going for the younger generations, God bless. This will always be one hell of a rabbit game!!! :P

I hope to be on during this bash, Jman and I both.

I think the Signature is still the same and I think it speaks for all....

Happy Anniversary Jazz

Stijn Apr 9, 2008 02:05 PM

Bash packs uploaded! Get them before joining any bash server:

Full pack; Levels + Tilesets + Music: from Jazz2Online (39 MB, Recommended)

Levels: from Mystic Legends or Jazz2Online (1 MB)
Tilesets: from Mystic Legends or Jazz2Online (7 MB)
Music: from Jazz2Online (31 MB)

Also note that while the actual anniversary is today, on the 9th, the Bash Servers will be hosted from the 11th till the 14th. This is because it is easier for people to attend if the servers are hosted during a weekend.
