NO. We must finish by the looming August deadline!! This can't still be going on by the time August ]|[ goes live!

PurpleJazz Jan 30, 2007 12:22 PM

*Continues working on this set*

Violet CLM Jan 30, 2007 12:44 PM

I would do something, but despite staring at the set, I can't figure out a thing to add to it other than background layers, and it needs more layer 4 variety first. Does anyone have any ideas?

CrimiClown Jan 30, 2007 12:50 PM

Robot cowboys from Venus... and an espressomachine.

Maybe this image might give people ideas?

ThunderPX Jan 31, 2007 02:44 AM

What does Purplejazz's tile have to do with the rest of the set in the first place?

Fawriel Jan 31, 2007 06:24 AM

That's what I'm wondering, too.
I guess he drew inspiration from that picture, which is awesome and could be drawn inspiration from if the tileset was going my direction, but....... it does not fit at all...

Add more layer 4 variety.
So far I've made, but not uploaded, a hurt tile for the more natural ground (semi-decent) and parts of a layer 4 backgroud for the same ground (lame).

GoldRabbit Feb 4, 2007 06:17 AM

i can make letters and colored-only tiles so this can be a test tileset :P

Now that would be a way to waste a good looking tileset if I saw it.

GoldRabbit Feb 4, 2007 08:50 AM

MsPaint?

Or perhaps you are using some kind of Linux based system? (Although I think some kind of Imageeditor is included in those too, but perhaps not.)

Jerrythabest Feb 5, 2007 12:51 PM

all normal operating systems come with a drawing program... even Vista!

zapS Mar 19, 2007 07:06 AM

vista doesn't come with an image editor????

Ofcourse it does, dear friend. I think what Jerrythabest refered to was that it is obvious that Vista has an image editor.

It's a little vague, though. I must say, I'm not really sure what he meant either.

some tiles added by Plin :)
come on everybody! keep adding tiles!!!

Fawriel Apr 10, 2007 06:04 AM

I say we just leave it like this and give zapS(/Plin?) all the credit.

Birdie Apr 10, 2007 07:16 AM

I rather agree with faw.

n0 Apr 10, 2007 07:45 AM

I'll add a textured background when I get home and have time, but after that I think we can call it good. (Although zaps should get only most of the credit, not all of it.)

GoldRabbit Apr 11, 2007 11:15 PM

you get home?xD

BattleSpaz Apr 14, 2007 11:52 PM

This LMAT looks VERY nice. I hope I could add tiles there too, but I quite cant do anything like that :/ ... When and IF this LMAT is ready, I could use this in a level.

$ÏMØÑ Apr 15, 2007 01:29 AM

And please add letters :P

I will use it, when its finish, for a test-tileset^^

GoldRabbit Apr 15, 2007 03:27 AM

I would do that but...

If it makes hotels look better even if 'degrading' the tileset, why not ;-)

P¼ul May 11, 2007 11:44 AM

lets finish this tileset already

I made a background because someone forgot to promise to make one

the bg also has a palette already

Jerrythabest May 11, 2007 12:23 PM

Looks cool =) I guess it's a textured bg?

P¼ul May 11, 2007 12:30 PM

yes it's textured, genius

P¼ul May 11, 2007 01:24 PM

I also let myself do some destruct scenery

n00b May 11, 2007 01:28 PM

Those are really nice destruct blocks

zapS May 24, 2007 03:44 AM

should we put these things together again?

Birdie May 25, 2007 06:19 PM

I'm not sure the textured BG p4ul made would look very good while tiling.

Neobeo May 25, 2007 06:24 PM

It's pretty tileable. Well, actually the black spots that appear when tiling it spoil it somewhat.

Jerrythabest May 26, 2007 01:42 AM

it looks really great, just copypaste some in paint and see, it doesn't even need to be a textured background :D

cooba May 26, 2007 05:27 AM

All you had to do is changing the palette -_-

Jerrythabest May 26, 2007 05:43 AM

http://84.107.204.56/ipshow.php
Click on the page to toggle bedween the two versions of the background ;p then you can compare easier ;p :p
