Thanks for the link. I registered that account in september when I didn't knew name changes where allowed. I forgot the Email and password for it, but I remember that I wrote the profile stuff that's showed there. So I think you can change my name now, To be sure I sended you a PM on J2O with the username 'Hareking'.

Xobim Dec 6, 2005 10:02 AM

I'd like to have my name changed into "Xobim". Jazzmusic sounds a bit stupid...
Thanks in advance....

Grytolle Dec 6, 2005 10:09 AM

...as opposed to?

I have trouble understanding what you want to do here. Both J2O and the JCF have you registered as Hareking, yet you want to change your name to that. How can you rename yourself into a name that already exists?

Do you mean to merge your accounts? I doubt that would really be possible easily.

Also, only on the JCF name changes are permitted, not on J2O.

In short, I want to change the name of this account to Hareking, a name I already registered years later. I just want to be named Hareking with my original join date and posts.

Ofcourse you know a better one, don't you?

Link Dec 7, 2005 06:10 AM

FQuist: This isn't any different than other cases we have had. 'Hareking' will be renamed to 'Hareking_old', and 'niek' will be renamed to 'Hareking'.

I'll do these changes later today.

niek Dec 8, 2005 02:04 AM

Thanks for changing my name! I'm now off my real name here, a custom name sounds much better if you want to be active. :)

Xobim Dec 8, 2005 09:24 AM

++New name, thank you.

I told you already... Jazzmusic was better :)

LittleFreak Dec 28, 2005 05:50 AM

If possible, I'd like to have my formerly tag removed now, because I'm not going to be active on J2O anyway.

BattleSpaz Dec 31, 2005 04:46 AM

Could you rename me to BattleSpaz? I have gotten my old name too long...

Pako Dec 31, 2005 03:16 PM

ok, now change my name to Pako Spanrabbit, please! (keep my formely tag forever, please)

R3ptile Jan 1, 2006 09:28 AM

Could you rename me to "r3p" and remove the formerly line, please, or do I have to wait longer?

VashTheStampede Jan 6, 2006 04:09 PM

Would it be possible to change my name and keep the first formerly tag?

like if i were to change my name from Dredd and keep it saying "Formerly: VashtheStampede"

cause if you could do that, can i get my name changed to "Drizzt Do'Urden"?

Link Jan 8, 2006 11:52 AM

Dredd and R3p: Those changes are possible, but it has not been five months since your last changes. Check the first post of this thread for the date of your last name change, and try again when it has been at least five months from that date. I've removed your formerly line, though, R3p.

WaterRabbit Jan 15, 2006 04:50 AM

Could I have my name changed to WaterRabbit? Can you also keep the formerly tag?

Yes, he does indeed.

MoonBlazE Feb 25, 2006 06:52 AM

Just because users don't post doesn't mean they aren't using their accounts. They could just be browsing, or sending private messages every once a while. ;)

Erik Feb 25, 2006 07:19 AM

change it to null device :d

also, the unix clock's earliest date possible is january first, 1970 01:00

NovaStar Feb 26, 2006 01:58 AM

Should we PM him and ask and if we don't get a reply soon rename that to Shadow_Old?

Stijn Feb 26, 2006 02:42 AM

No, they won't rename it to Shadow_old, because they also didn't when I requested "Flash" as nickname. The only way to use his/her nickname is asking him/her for permission personally.

MoonBlazE Feb 26, 2006 04:17 AM

Stijn is much more original and cooler than Flash, too. :P

Birdie Feb 26, 2006 03:22 PM

:D i have to agree with moonblaze

Baggers Feb 26, 2006 11:22 PM

Thirded

...also R3p...keep the capital 'R' it looks better !

They used to do that, so that kinda sux.

Stijn Mar 1, 2006 04:12 AM

No, they used to rename old accounts of people that wanted their name changed. Not others' accounts.

R3ptile Mar 10, 2006 05:04 AM

hey please rename me to "ThA BLiNG BLiNG RaBBiT"
