Hooly crap. It's like the combination of Soccer nuts and Clan Wars into one.

........

1. The tourney is 4v4 till the absolute point of failing if it won't be changed into 3v3.
2. You all should stop evaluating others.
3. Don't for a second count anyone out of any team unless they say that they're out themselves.

@Sucer, how could you help me in organizing the tourney?

EDIT: I'll second post 226

Chiyu Dec 27, 2006 05:41 PM

You shouldn't make it 4vs4 just because Finland can't agree on a 3 person team =P.. I don't think you'll be able to get many countries when it's 4vs4.. No Netherlands at least..

Raven aka StL Dec 27, 2006 07:06 PM

I'll be trying, and Netherlands has signed up already :)

Yasco Dec 28, 2006 03:38 AM

Wallace , this is 2006. =) Make it 4v4 and you'll get 3 or 4 countries to participate. :)

R3ptile Dec 28, 2006 05:13 AM

4 on 4? this makes israel's chance to participate close to 0%

Yasco Dec 28, 2006 07:19 AM

Same with Belgium.

Sucer Dec 28, 2006 10:02 AM

So probably same with every other country than Finland so this will be a 3vs3 tourney!

Emp, I can help deciding mappool, tournament system and arrangements when to play and stuff.

@ Yasco and Sucer: As I said, it will be 4v4 till it's absolutely (and I mean ABSOLUTELY) clear that it'll fail being 4v4. Only then will it become 3v3.

@ Yasco: Belgium has signed in.

@ Sucer: All of those are being taken care of, and it is 4v4 for now!

Sasik Dec 28, 2006 10:42 AM

It looks like you are trying to make it 4vs4 because only then you're sure that you will play for your national team. Good idea.

However, I doubt this tourney will work, so who cares

And seeing as no one wants a 4on4...

Yasco Dec 29, 2006 01:47 AM

@gry : Me , sq , enig & scare , that makes 4 indeed. But it would be hard to get all of us ready each time we have to play...
@wallace : Belgium has signed as you said before that it'd be 3v3

NovaStar Dec 29, 2006 02:41 AM

4v4 is a doomed failure, hands down.
Ok, well this is proving A LOT more difficult than I first thought. But! I may have managed to pull through with a team if it's 3v3.

Team Australia
NovaStar
Dawson
The Killer

Yeah, not very good in experience, probably the underdogs, but hey, we'll give it a shot. After all, that is what being an Aussie is about : D

Unfortunently this seems to be his idea:(

No one wants a 4vs4 tourney so why on earth would we make it one?

Speeza Dec 30, 2006 02:10 PM

make it 3v3 please.

any one up for team england?

Raven aka StL Dec 30, 2006 06:42 PM

@ About everyone: Fine, it's from here on in 3v3, continue signing up!

@ Sucer: There's no "we"...

@ Ryder: I'm very sorry, but you're dead... goodbye.

EDIT: Happy New Year in 19,16 h

eNriCo Dec 31, 2006 02:25 AM

Italy

i can get 3 or 4 players for italian team
at the moment i have 3:

-riccardo
-enrico
-carlo

if 3 are insufficient, i'll try to get the fourth

Nielsje Dec 31, 2006 03:34 AM

I might help in organising if enough people want me to.

:gabber:

Vegito Dec 31, 2006 03:58 AM

Wow, that would at least make the tournament better. The chances of getting this tournament ruined would be smaller than with Wallace alone :P

Raven aka StL Dec 31, 2006 05:56 AM

Indeed, it's not that I wouldn't have said that myself, so your flame tag was ruined :p

And I'd appreciate that Chippie.

Jerrythabest Dec 31, 2006 02:53 PM

WCIII

this'll work, it's nice ideas... you can surely do it.

will there be a 2nd class tournament too? I'd like to participate

Raven aka StL Jan 1, 2007 05:00 AM

Why thank you, and no idea.

Sucer Jan 1, 2007 08:07 AM

Italy has signed up! This is a pleasant surprise. Maybe if you need a fourth, try Flea from DM. He was quite active a half a year ago and he's sure a very good player.

USA should join. All we need is Dizzy:P If he plays maybe Aaron will also and then they can find a pro like Salamander to play as the third. If this would happen the tournament would be very nice. Also Veg would wake up from his deep sleep and play for the Netherlands which will inspire the rest of the good oldies who still are not in, to play in this tournament.

R3ptile Jan 1, 2007 08:22 AM

Flea is not from Italy, and he's in DM, not GpW

His e-mail adress is Fleagpw etc. so you must understand my mistake. And he is FROM Italy! He lives in the netherlands but I think he still has the nationality of Italy.

I have told them about the Tourney and asked if they can sign up. There are plenty of new players now and I think we could get more national teams. However, this should be job for creator of this tourney to get more players and contact them. :o

Raven aka StL Jan 1, 2007 01:19 PM

Exactly. Also what Sucer said about Flea was crap and everything else he said was nothing new...

Please refrain from spamming.

Sucer Jan 2, 2007 01:41 AM

Oh. Emp lies. Ask Flea. He is FROM ITALY. He just lives in the Netherlands.

So we have Italy, Poland, The netherlands, Finland, Belgium and Sweden signed up so far. Then if two of UK, Canada, Isreael and USA would play we would have eight teams and then the tournament would have enough teams to be called a tournament.

We could play in two divisons consisting of 4 players. Every team in the division plays againts other teams. And the best would play againts the second best of the other division. Then the winners would play the final.

NovaStar Jan 2, 2007 02:01 AM

You forgot Australia. And if it was two divisons consisting of 4 players we most certainly wouldn't be able to participate.

Sucer Jan 2, 2007 02:35 AM

of Course if we get nine teams or ten teams the system would change. We could play three divisions of 3 players if nine teams are in. The best of each team automatically get's to the semi finals and the losers play a small tournament and the winner is the fourth semifinalist or something.

Every country that has enough players and wants to play can join

Raven aka StL Jan 2, 2007 02:36 AM

Sucer, stop talking like you'd be the one organizing this tournament.
You don't set any rules or standards. Refrain from using bold text.
And there is no "we" about this.

Vegito Jan 2, 2007 04:21 AM

However Sucer was right about Flea. ;P
Anyways, I dont know if there's another country which can play.
Oh well.

Raven aka StL Jan 2, 2007 07:15 AM

On a side note: If you were born in Korea and now live in the US. You can't play for the US, only Korea (in this case). I do guess everyone knew that already so just nvm.

Vegito Jan 2, 2007 08:22 AM

For who does that count? :s

Jerrythabest Jan 2, 2007 09:32 AM

I guess for anyone?

I've been thinking about a big tournament to replace WC3 but I'm not done thinking and it won't start soon anyway...

This would mean that, if for whatever reason i get drunk or something and DO decide to participate, that I wouldn't be able to play for Canada anyways ;P. gg

What a stupid rule. People could always lie about the place their place of birth, and it also forces some people to play for nations they have nothing to do with anymore.

Yasco Jan 3, 2007 04:10 AM

And what if you are born in country B and you live in country B , but both your parents are from country A?
