My page. >O

Stijn Sep 11, 2005 05:18 AM

Where did the destruct/buttstomp blocks go?

Fawriel Sep 11, 2005 06:42 AM

..uhm.. they're right up there?

Stijn Sep 11, 2005 07:08 AM

o overlooked them sorry

I hope there will be mask messages and a " Made by LMAT" or something-tile?

EDIT: Are there actually tiles for the transition between the cyborg-tiles and the dark "cave"-layer 4 background?

Fawriel Sep 11, 2005 07:12 AM

*shrugs* Guess not. But I guess the background stuff can simply be attached to the wood tiles.. fits well enough.

Stijn Sep 11, 2005 07:16 AM

Gah that sucks. Can't you secretly add them? ;)

Fawriel Sep 11, 2005 07:26 AM

Of course I could, just don't tell anyone. ;O

...no.

FQuist Sep 11, 2005 08:42 AM

I think that if something that was forgotten that was dire enough and has a negative result on the entire tileset's usage (this is pretty bad) it should still be added. Up to Violet to have the final word though.

blurredd Sep 11, 2005 09:19 AM

I agree, although Violet might be strict about it like in July's LMAT.

By the way, several of the tiles like the polls and the background trees don't use the updated wood colors (the metal caps on the wood next to the polls even use the colors from the original edit). And in hindsight I wish I made the contrast for the rocks better.

cooba Sep 21, 2005 07:10 AM

May I point out that the order of the waterfall frames should be reversed? Now it's more of a geezer than a waterfall as it steadily goes upwards instead of downwards.
And anyway, why isn't this tileset still finished? Whoever was going to make the palette should either get to finishing it or pass it to someone else volunteering to do the palette job.

Ðx Sep 21, 2005 07:41 AM

indeed release it i'm really waiting for it ;D

n0 Sep 21, 2005 08:35 AM

Still working on the masks, but School has higher priority, so it should be done before next year.

fire_byrd08 Sep 21, 2005 12:41 PM

I hope it's done soon

PS: It's C6H12O6

Sugar?

White Rabbit Sep 21, 2005 01:33 PM

Glucose=C6H12O6
Glucose is a reducing sugar.
Saccharine, afaik, is not, and is therefore not glucose. Yum. :)

FQuist Sep 21, 2005 02:13 PM

Before next year? That fast?

Pass it on to someone else then, or work together with someone else. It's kind of stupid if people rush a thing in a month and have to wait months for it to be actually done. Or post them and have people collaboratively work on them, or something. At the least post what's up at the moment, since it's kind of weird for the thread to have died, with nobody knowing what's happening. You could be at least somewhat informative.

blurredd Sep 21, 2005 04:15 PM

I don't even understand how the masking can be the cause of the delay. I don't believe it should be that complicated. Where I could see the problem is with fixing the palette so that only the colors that are needed are included (like I mentioned earlier, the old wood colors should have be updated). If no one was going to be a perfectionist and just ran a final unedited image through TilesetPal, the set should've been finshed sometime last week.

But enough of me being impatient. I'm no longer in any position to help anymore.

Fawriel Sep 22, 2005 02:03 AM

JSZ Jazz took on the paletting...he started on it, but seems to be taking his time..

DoubleGJ Sep 22, 2005 06:28 AM

Indeed, going slowly 'cause recently a whole bunch of work came out. Maybe it would be done by now if I hadn't been fiddling with the color indexes to make as much palette events as possible to work.

Seconded.

Risp_old Sep 30, 2005 02:43 AM

Didn't Radium come up with the name Kansas?

Fawriel Sep 30, 2005 03:29 AM

He did. And I think Twinsoul wants to murder him for it.

Ðx Sep 30, 2005 03:34 AM

cool

cooba Sep 30, 2005 04:46 AM

...Unknown Rabbit and Violet? ;|

DoubleGJ Sep 30, 2005 06:54 AM

*mutters*

Sonyk Sep 30, 2005 08:14 AM

LMAT, Now with 3x the Violet in every box!

blurredd Sep 30, 2005 03:20 PM

I like the mask message a lot, as straightforward as it is.
(And I still like the open source idea.)

I'm just complaining to myself how I had to draw a whole bunch of stuff while doing the palette. But hopefully I'll get over with it soon.

n0 Oct 1, 2005 12:25 PM

Wait... if you are drawing more stuff... then I will need to change the masks. Could you post the latest PNG so I can mask the new stuff?

Radium Oct 1, 2005 12:36 PM

No, we should definately keep "Name "Kansas" Courtesy Twinsoul".

He doesn't mean "adding stuff to the tileset", afaik.

Well, in that case...

Notice: This has not been compiled in JCS yet, tested completly by the pixal counter. So, if you see/compile any bugs, edit them out. Don't change the mask messages though.

CrimiClown Oct 3, 2005 04:29 AM

WOOO! MASK = DONE! :D

cooba Oct 3, 2005 08:37 AM

Don't forget to fix log color bugs in the H-Pole tiles.

Besides, the mask seems to be messed up altogether. I assume that what is unmasked is white... and thus it looks like the laser spikes have got mask around them, and the Fooruman is all masked.

Violet CLM Oct 3, 2005 11:39 AM

No, black is transparent, which is how JCS reads image files.
