As much as we associate Razz Ma Tazz with Jazz and everything, isn't he still owned by Noogy?

Dermo Oct 1, 2007 06:30 PM

stupid companies and their effin copywrites

Ninja 101 Oct 2, 2007 01:55 AM

Crap. you know, I allways have an idea, then someone comes along and says ' no that's not right' or 'you can't do that' etc.
That really gets on my nerves.
that and this (-) headache, stomach ache, shivering when i'm not cold, cough etc. etc.

Dermo Oct 2, 2007 07:03 PM

If it hurts you that much, I got some spare rope in my shed...

Noogy is one person, and you misspelled copyrights. The latter isn't even important the point is- Were you even aware of who Noogy was?

Jerrythabest Oct 3, 2007 11:49 AM

Tell us, I wonder who he is.

n00b Oct 3, 2007 12:17 PM

Jerry, Seriously? You're not being sarcastic here?

Remember, you have your community membership on the line.

Violet CLM Oct 3, 2007 01:20 PM

look at me I can use bbcode

Ninja 101 Oct 8, 2007 03:22 AM

This is the worst post in JCF history, DrMoo. You should be ashamed.

Jerrythabest Nov 2, 2007 06:04 AM

WHAAAAAAA Ninjas are taking over this thread!!!...

Okay, so where did this project go?

Black Ninja Nov 2, 2007 08:16 AM

Just so no one wonders, I was Black Ninja long before Ninja came around. ;p

Anyway, it seems ambesoftware is on a hiatus or something.

n00b Nov 2, 2007 10:53 AM

According to the ambesoftware forums (does no one check those? Its like Baggers' project all over again), they are too busy working on side projects to raise funds for this one to constantly make updates and answer questions online.

Jerrythabest Nov 2, 2007 12:01 PM

As if you actually need money to continue programming. Maybe they really are a company. Those always seem to have weird laws.

n00b Nov 2, 2007 01:37 PM

Jerry stop. Collaborate and think.
You need money to be able to be a functioning citizen of the real world, and if the majority of your time is spent programming a bunny game and not much else you're going to need some kind of money source for everything else in the real world such as: Food, clothes, gas, bills etc. Hence when I say the funds are for the project, I mean keeping the project members off the streets.

Stijn Nov 2, 2007 02:21 PM

Jerry was being sort of sarcastic, I think. As in "whoa I thought they were just a bunch of college students but they actually need to make money after all?".

n00b Nov 2, 2007 02:50 PM

I'm never entirely sure with Jerry to be honest.

Jerrythabest Nov 2, 2007 04:01 PM

Whahah surely you are never entirely sure. Never. Are you?

Me either...

ambesoftware Nov 4, 2007 10:09 AM

Good to see some discussions on this Thread for once ^^.

Its true that we have to make a living as well as doing the jazz project,
So if it seems like we're on another planet or something we're probably working ^^..

But the forum is still there guys, we'll answer all your questions, I promise ^^.
Erlend - The project lives!

FQuist Nov 4, 2007 12:15 PM

Ambe software,

As you might have noticed 99% of the previously made JJ3/fan game projects that were attempted never materialized because at one point the creators disappeared. Have you thought about doing some "pledge" (if that is legally/commercially possible for you) to release your work open source if your project might fail? (of course I hope it doesn't!)

ambesoftware Nov 4, 2007 01:15 PM

I haven't thought about it .. but sure, if we should fail(and I have announce failure). We will release all of the Scripts, Models, Environments and all the rest. But I don't think it will come to that ^^. We may be busy, but we don't give up that easy. ^^

Dermo Nov 4, 2007 07:31 PM

I am really glad to hear that. But ambesoft, you must remember our spirits are down. No high hopes for this JJ3D project.

Remember baggers getting our hopes up?

Remember Slayer getting our hopes up?

Remember Coolpeanutbutter getting our hopes up?

Well there's a few examples of people who said they'd never quit and quit.

Also, question. Is this legal?

I don't care if it's not though lol. I won't tell. I just wanted to bring up an interesting point.

n00b Nov 4, 2007 07:38 PM

Drmoo, please speak for yourself unless you are speaking in the royal we, especially since I don't even know what the second project is and never had high hopes for the third to begin with. Also, the fact that Baggers never flat out quit, and the fact the project shifted its focus from JJ2 remake to brand new engine never really made me feel all that disappointed.

Well we saw this thread back in 2006, but we still decided to make a techdemo and try to get them on our side.. ..And that is still our goal.

So time will tell..

n00b Nov 5, 2007 11:46 AM

A highly impressive tech demo is much better than just asking for permission with nothing.

ambesoftware Nov 5, 2007 01:15 PM

I agree..

FreeFull Nov 7, 2007 11:16 AM

Who doesn't agree?

Jerrythabest Nov 8, 2007 12:10 PM

Does it matter that much?

Apparently this guy.

FreeFull Nov 8, 2007 12:42 PM

It was some marketing guy. What do you expect?

n00b Nov 8, 2007 12:52 PM

I meant Jam.

Jerrythabest Nov 9, 2007 12:30 PM

Whahahh FreeFull you made me LOL for some minutes.

But, after reading the first e-mail of Mark again I noticed something I hadn't noticed back when those mails were sent. He said that Epic "No longer lets outside developers make games with their intellectual properties." Maybe there is some legal way to do things like this using a time machine or things like that. ;p

Dermo Nov 9, 2007 06:46 PM

Actually, Jerry's kind of on to something. The time machine idea, no lol. But I mean he said "no longer." That would mean that before the emails were sent, we were allowed to. So therefore, we can change the date-stamp on jj3D to a date what is before the emails were sent :D

Epic will never know what hit them. NOT.

I don't think I need to even explain why this is the worst idea in human history.

FQuist Nov 10, 2007 12:52 AM

Because you just posted that plan on a public forum where Epic would read it, maybe. ;-)

Jerrythabest Nov 10, 2007 06:11 AM

Okay, that's what we're gonna do. Now pm that to ambesoft and delete the post please.

Black Ninja Nov 10, 2007 09:15 AM

I have the best idea EVAR.

Let's leave it up to ambesoft since they are, in fact, the ones making the game.

Did I blow your minds? ;p

Speeza Nov 10, 2007 09:35 AM

I still can't wait until this game
