What clan do you think will win JJ2WC III?

Just a messabout... Im a bit bored, but I wanna see your honest opinion. And sorry if I forgot about ur clan..

8D owns all.

Ðx Oct 27, 2005 09:14 PM

...CC

Quickz Apr 17, 2007 03:05 AM

It's obvious now: RL xD

Raven aka StL Apr 17, 2007 03:33 AM

8D, since they have 5 of the "best" players today in their clan, and when they're up against a strong opponent, they use lame teams such as "Vegito, Yasco, Superjazz" which no clan can counteract.

Have fun competing.

Grytolle Apr 17, 2007 06:58 AM

Haha

Sucer Apr 17, 2007 08:46 AM

Yes it's utterly lame to use a team: "Superjazz, Vegito, Yasco"

I suggest we ban 8th Dimension from the tourney, for being so lame that it uses their best warteam.

The thing I most like about jj2 is that thanks to lag and other stuff it's completely possible that a team like MF can be able to win DM. No offence towards VS, but I believe it lost a huge part of it's power when Mave clanhopped. R3p might have been a good replacement but he also left..

Anyway I'd guess CraccoClan wins because they have Maverick. This is not a joke!

Raven aka StL Apr 17, 2007 09:00 AM

Maverick is a good player, but you're overrating him by quite a margin.

VS's warteam was fine etc etc, we just played below our expected level against 8D and even more so against LR. Lag of the level that features lagclones, fake healths, airhits and other things that affect gameplay quite a bit played an atrocious part in the game against LR, though.

I can only suppose LR had much less lag, because they didn't seem to lag at all.

And simply Grytolle, Maverick (who are both very good players) and a few other decent or semi-decent players likely won't be enough against 8D concidering the team rosters...

Sucer Apr 17, 2007 09:22 AM

Chiyu is a good basic teamplayer, Maverick is an awesome teamplayer when he plays with good teammates. (I once tried to be a good teammate and mine and Maverick's teamplay worked so impressively that I have high respect for some of his skillz)
Then as a third put someone with bad movement but good understanding of the game and skillz to RTS (Grytolle) and that's an excellent team.

Grytolle Apr 17, 2007 10:06 AM

o.O What's wrong with my movement?

Yasco Apr 17, 2007 10:19 AM

Nothing , don't take Su too serious when he's talking so wise about others.;P

Sucer Apr 18, 2007 03:05 AM

idd

Chiyu Apr 18, 2007 03:35 AM

I think under the current circumstances, CC would win (I have confidence in my teammates and myself), but I wouldn't be surprised if 8D won instead.

Vegito Apr 18, 2007 03:37 AM

Lol hax.

Unaware of the fact that it's 3v3?

Enigma Apr 18, 2007 05:36 AM

Why, FoF, of course. As we stride towards victory, we shall leave our foes beaten and devastated in our path, and rule the rabbit kingdom with an iron fist. Or maybe not.

Idiocy aside, I think CC vs 8 D would be the most interesting final to see. I'd estimate the potential of these two to be roughly equal, so perhaps we may finally see a three-round game if this comes to pass, which would be somewhat interesting.

No. Should I be?

n00b Apr 18, 2007 04:19 PM

SDK vs. MF would be in a bout to the finish for the cup

With the outcome determined by a coin flip, and with SDK winning.
It's a loaded coin

Then please don't give everyone the impression that you are.

Raven aka StL Apr 19, 2007 11:07 AM

I'm not giving out such an impression, not at all.

And let's stop spamming now, spammy people.

And now yet another spammer...

NovaStar Apr 20, 2007 05:31 AM

That wasn't spammy, spammer.

Raven aka StL Apr 20, 2007 11:10 AM

Are you people stupid and proud of it or what?

[GpW]Urbs Apr 20, 2007 11:29 AM

8d or cc, although im hoping for mf, dm or fof to surprise the rest of the field.
I just love underdogs:)

Grytolle Apr 21, 2007 04:05 AM

DM as underdogs :D *amused*

[GpW]Urbs Apr 21, 2007 06:32 AM

well after the initial defeat, sure why not?:)
I mean its not like i dont think they arent swell chaps or anything, I just think other clans play more, and by doing so have a better shot at it. IMO anyway....

R3ptile Apr 21, 2007 10:38 AM

Easy to judge us right after our first game, Urbs.

Raven aka StL Apr 21, 2007 12:55 PM

Your first game... against MF ;)

Yea everyone has bad days, but I'm beginning to believe it's not only about bad luck. I've lost many 2vs2 to those MF dudes. Me and r3p lost 5-3 to Excalibur and Zipper and then me and SQ lost 5-2 to them..

They are lucky, their whole playing style bases on luck, but they still very often win... weird:) And Zipper is good!!! Excalibur plays a lot like him really, so they both r good:P

If I'd have to say a clan that "surprises" in this tourney that would be MF.

Raven aka StL Apr 22, 2007 10:41 PM

That is true.
Although it seems that they're not so strong against me...
Maybe that's the random 'weakness' bit...

Sometimes you win good players and then lose to whoever they can easily defeat. Just something I've noticed...

As people have their initial playing styles and strategies... Sometimes it just happens that one's way of playing is effective against someone else's and that's what makes games interesting sometimes...

It doesn't work on anyone, though.

maverick Apr 23, 2007 05:03 AM

Something's wrong with you then. ; P

I always play the same and do the same moves and I win 8-9 out of 10 of my 2v2/3v3 games ;P

I never play the same, I get bored too easily on playing the same always. And I do sometimes lose incredibly and sometimes win incredibly. I win about 50% of my teamgames and 90% of duels.

Yea and lag does affect the games a lot. For me for example it's crucial that the Comp hasn't warmed up, couse if it has, it gives me a low fps and I suck.

Sasik Apr 23, 2007 08:56 AM

And coming back to the topic... I'd vote for CC. ;P Why? Because from what I have seen their teamplay is still at higher level than other clans. 8d has many great players, but they didn't impress me much in our match (VS vs 8d) and I think that DM is a bit too rusty, they are much weaker in comparison to 2004/2005 (and earlier), when they were dominating the scene.
Of course it would be nice to see some other clan winning, but I don't think that i. e. MF is experienced enough to win JJ2WC.
However, the reults in this edition (or maybe in all JJ2WC's editions) are often hard to be predicted. What's more, the lag, as always, has big impact at the game. That's all means that this season can have many great matches and unexpected results. ;P

Too bad that we are out already

Unhit Apr 23, 2007 02:47 PM

tf of course

Listen Emp, I've got a bone to pick with you.
There are proud people out there living hard lives, and they are far too down trodden for you to make fun of them! I take offense for these other people!

Oh, and stupid people too, they also live hard lives.

XDDDDDDD! Now you're talking about those levels me and zip had never played before XD. That doesn't really make sense to come and say so when we play your levels and something we had never tried.

But yes, CC will maybe win, that clan includes the biggest pu thief ever XD. Without that person, it would be out already.

I wasn't talking about those levels...

Excalibur Apr 25, 2007 05:36 AM

unfortunately we haven't played against you in any other levels lately.

Raven aka StL Apr 25, 2007 10:05 AM

The bottomline is that I've seen how you play against me, commonly (in some known levels too) and you're not too impressive... ;P

Grytolle Apr 25, 2007 11:31 AM

Yeah because without stealing powerups we would probably lose instead of beating dVS with 20-0 on DW

Edit: I don't remember the score, so see "20-0" as just "a lot".
