How did you get your copy of JJ2?
Okay. So we know we are a bunch of fans here. Since jj2 is sort of unoffically "Abandonware", there has been a small surge of jj2 fans.
Now, I am sort of wondering: How many of you have the actual CD, and how many of you have downloaded it? So I ask you to please be honest. I'm not trying to flush out abandonware downloaders, I actually more interested in how many copys of the CD we all love are out there (Yes, i'm bored :P). |
Downloaded.
Bought JJ1, JJ2, HH98, TSF. Downloaded TSF (later replaced by purchased copy), 1.00g and 1.10o.
An accidentally illegal copy that I later purchased - twice - once in a store near here and once in Easton, Washington.
Oh I purchased all mine, you don't get the artwork with pirate copies.
I bought my TSF, which came with a free standard JJ2, and that's about it.
Both. Got v1.20 on a CD I bought really cheap in a store. Warezed TSF }>
Both.
I purchased my mac version direct from Burger and downloaded the Windows versions. |
Bought 1.21 from Epic Megagames over the phone.
Bought 1.20, then lost it, then downloaded it, then found it a few months later. Hehe.
bought 1.21
Neither. I borrowed
I purchased every single JJ game except one: Christmas Chronicles. For that, I used a patch to upgrade to it from TSF. Oh, and obviously JJ3 was a download.
Bought JJ1 and JJ2:TSF.
My dad ordered it for me from god games' website for my 10th birthday.
it shall be eight years in four months ;-; nostalgia. |
Got it from the Media Markt in Herzogenrath on release day! =D
Same with TSF, just not on release day. Got Christmas Chronicles for my birthday. Downloaded 1.00g. Chasing 1.00o =D |
Bought it for 2$ in some cheap run down chinese computer store downtown.
downloaded tsf though. |
Got a possibly illegal copy from my uncle, then purchased both TSF and JJ2 for a miserably low price.
Downloaded 1.23, TSF and 1.00g.
Bought JJ2 at Media Play using part of my 90$ I got from some place
Purchased the full version of JJ1 at a dollar store after my Karate lesson sometime after I got JJ2(still in the same year) the JJ1 box had beta screenshots on the back. It's too bad I lost it. Bought HH98 on ebay for 2.00, lost the CD, bought again at a bargain bin in a EB games for a 1.00 sometime in '99. Warezed TSF at school, burned it on a disc and took it home. Still haven't actaully bought TSF, and I doubt I ever will due to dwindling copies and the fact I rarely play TSF. Downloaded 1.00g and CC, don't have them anymore and since 1.00 discs periodically pop up on ebay I'm thinking about getting one legally. What, you don't have a photographic memory when it comes to game purchases? |
Bought JJ2 from outpost.com as a birthday present for my brother (and later ended up using it more than him), and bought TSF through Haze.
I purchaced JJ1 and JJ2 (I was lucky to find it on ebay). I downloaded TSF and do not have HH98.
Downloaded JJ1 Shareware.
Bought JJ2, it came with JJ1 CD. Got TSF from Haze. |

![]() Maybe this one? |
In 1998, I first got a copied disk of 1.20, but short after I ordered 1.20 just because I liked it. Later I bought both Christmas Chronicles and TSF (not on the release date). I had the JJ1 CD for a very very long time though. And wait, In 2003, I also bought JazzGBA. I downloaded HH98 and the Jazz3 demo though.
I borrowed JJ1 and 1.23 at a Library years ago. I bought 1.24.
Wow, I wish my local library had JJ1 and JJ2 for loan. :p

My mom bought me the JJ2 Christmas Demo. Yeah, really. (I think my mom regrets doing that.) Later bought JJ2 through Amazon (I think.) Accidently downloaded TSF, thinking it was a demo.
Ofcourse I didn't download them :).
Bought JJ2:HH98 thinking that it was the full game with the holiday levels, then I worked up 20 dollars for the full version. I either downloaded TSF or bought it on Ebay, I've since forgotten, or cared.
I ordered my copy of JJ2 directly from Epic over the phone.

I got it for Christmas back in 1998. ;DD
I watched when my "day mothers" child played it, and asked if i could borrow it, so i did. Copied the installation file to my hdd, but i lost it later. After that i downloaded the demo and played it.... then some years later i found JJ2 ( whole pack with instructions n' a opening door to da cd  )... in a BIG BOX with tons of OLD CRAPPY games, but i found it there. I throw the pack away l8r, but not the cd game n the manual... hehe i just saved the front of the pack box to the game..
Somebody should post the manual somewhere; we have the Jazz 1 one up.
None of these 2, I borrowed it from my cousins.
