Jazz3d is back on track
 

hi there i'm sick and tired that epic killed off jazz3d so i'm starting to make my own version of it:-) . it's going to have a all three of the jackrabbits jazz, spaz and lori are back.:lori: if got some of the story line they where going to use for there version of jazz3d but i still need to write soom more of the story and i need to add more cariters. if you have a good idea for the story or you have a cariter you want in the game email me at C_peanutbutter@yahoo.com.au but i can't add all of the ideas in because then i would never finsh the game. so if your ideas arn't in the game when it's done so i hope you will understand. i will right a staces report every 3 months on how the game is going. it will go slow at the becaing because i'm the only one working on it but i get really good at things really fast.

Wait, let me guess: No, but you downloaded Game Maker 7 and pirated Flash, and already finished the first three tutorials in both?

well i never really tryed to do all that at the same time. i consitrat on 1 thing at a time.

ah no i'm doing a full 3D game i'm not using game maker that is crap and you can only make 2d games. i'm using a real engine to make this game.

And what kind of engine are you going to use then? Also, I suggest having a team of people to make your game. Someone with better english perhaps? How old are you actually?

That would take a very long time so I suggest you get a team.

I don't know what makes me lose more faith in this project: that you completely missed the sarcasm or the phrase "real engine".

Amesoftware is already working on this (see the "What if" thread), maybe you could help him, before starting something really big in your own, without a final product probably (You know how these things go, enthusiasm doesn't last forever)..

1 i am 15 years old
2 i would love to have a team help me but i'm the only one i know that loves the jazz games eneagth to work for hours on end to finish it.
3 yes i can model, animate and all the stuff
4 yes i would love to use the unreal engine but it cost's a lot of $$$$

You never said what engine you were going to use, if you were using the UT engine(not nessesarily UT3 Engine) I would probably help with the mapping anyways. Also, Aren't 'Real Engines' the things you find in cars?

fine if you can tell me where i can get the unreal engine that dosn't cost a lot of money. or it is free then give me the link and i can then start making it in that. :cool:

It depends on what you plan to do, if you want to make a mod then it's free (you can't sell it. ;p) if you want to make a whole new game then sell it you need to license it.

no i'm not going to sell it. it will be a free game to download. so will that be cost money to use the unreal engine.

thanks i will need it at the rate i'm going and the sarport i'm getting. it the rate i'm going i douet it will ever be done but i wount give up on the project. i will only give up if i don't get the tutarle done in 2 months.

If you are planning to do this on your own then it will take years.
