Revived clan RR is searching new members! You're welcome to join! Click here!

Yay! At last! Rabbit Roasters has been revived! As announced two months ago, I would revive RR in June. Now that everything says it's June it's time to revive things.

What's changed?
Subdivision
At last, RR has been split up to have a seperate division for very good members. This is done to make a better seperation bedween good and less good, so we can remain joining less skilled players while we won't become less attractive for better players. The new subdivision is called Multitalented Ultimate Rabbit Roasters: MURR.

Tryouts
Tryouts are the same as they have been since November 11, with the MURR tryout added to it.
To join RR, you have to do two tryouts against me: one battle and one CTF, both to 10 points. Your points will determine your rank.
-You got less than 7 points: You cannot join RR. 7 points out of 20 is just not enaugh enough. Just make sure you improve and then ask for a new tryout.
-You got 7 to 14 points: You may join RR and you'll get the normal 'Member' rank. Train hard and ask for a re-tryout to see if have improved.
-You won one game (10 to 14 points): You are a 'Skilled member'. Try to focus on the gametype in which you lost your tryout when training. If you think you really improved, just ask for a re-tryout.
-You got at least 15 points: You are an 'Elite' member. You play really good and don't need much training. You should train less skilled members!
To make it into MURR, you should play really well. If both Bad Bunny and I agree that you may join MURR, you can.

The ranks
In short, the ranks in RR are the same as they have always been. Here's a list.
-Member: A below average to average skilled member. Requires a lot activity to improve and should train as much as possible.
-Skilled member: An above average skilled member. Most likely specialized in one gametype. Could train less skilled members on that gametype, but could use some training for the other.
-Elite: A very well skilled member. Doesn't specialize in any gametype (but probably prefers CTF). Doesn't require a lot of training and should focus on training less skilled members. Usually very active players.
-MURR: One of the best members in RR. Is very active and will most likely mainly focus on teamplay. Should frequently train less skilled members.
-MURR Leader: Skill level equal to MURR. Determines wether a member is skilled enough for MURR. Should be easy to contact and should frequently organize trainings.
-Leader: May have any skill level. Does tryouts, site updates and tries to keep everyone active. Should be easy to contact. Should *help* in conflicts inside the clan (≠ solve them on its own). Keeps administration of activities inside RR.

What's the same?
-The alliance with 8th Dimension will remain.
-Work on the Training Center will be continued.
-I'll remain leading.
-(I hope) RR level packs will be continued and will be released one day.
-The rules still apply.

Other stuff
The [RR] tag
All RR members MUST wear our [RR] tag, as stated in the rules. MURR members may wear the [MURR] tag instead, but they may also keep the nice and simple [RR] tag.

ALL MEMBERS OF RR HAVE BEEN CLEARED FROM THE MEMBER LIST. IF YOU WANT TO REMAIN MEMBER, CONTACT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

And welcome back Sucer and Bad Bunny.

Birdie Jun 10, 2007 07:43 AM

Haha, is it time to resurrect Durimex too now that RR is back?

Jerrythabest Jun 10, 2007 07:50 AM

Sure. But I'd prefer you leave your current clan first, as we still don't allow multiclanning. And I like the nick Birdie better. ;p

Birdie Jun 10, 2007 08:03 AM

I'm not sure you got the joke, I noticed that you have no more Co-Leader. As you wanted old members to come back, one of your previous co-leaders was Durimex.

Jerrythabest Jun 10, 2007 08:18 AM

Well it doesn't make much sense to have a clan with a leader, a co-leader and a subdivision leader ;p

Birdie Jun 10, 2007 08:19 AM

That made sense to me. ;\

Grytolle Jun 10, 2007 08:42 AM

So if RR is revived... then that means it was dead, just like I said :D

Jerrythabest Jun 10, 2007 08:51 AM

I just call it revived because reactivated sounds stupid ;p

But oh well, we're back.

n00b Jun 10, 2007 10:00 AM

Wait wait wait, it's reactivated, that means it was deactivated, i.e. off, ergo mechanically dead
Jerry- have you been making hissy fits for nothing?

Sucer Jun 10, 2007 10:31 AM

This topic looks rather desperate XDD. I'm glad however that you take action Jerry.

Chaos will join MURR too. He is so 1337 he doesn't even need a tryout.

Birdie Jun 10, 2007 10:40 AM

is it just me, or do you three (chaos, sucer, badbunny) have a pattern for killing new or revived clans?

Jerrythabest Jun 10, 2007 11:06 AM

Well, they're all former RR members that have come back... if they leave again or if they really kill RR as you think, then it's their last rejoin ;) For now I hope they'll behave and have fun ;p

Hitch Jun 10, 2007 05:44 PM

Well said Jerry. *Cough* RR was dead *Cough*

Jerrythabest Jun 10, 2007 11:41 PM

>O I won't reply to that... but only because you said 'was'

NovaStar Jun 11, 2007 01:01 AM

Well, now that it's reactivated maybe it isn't dead! Anyways. Nice to see an old clan back, we need more of them around really. Although if you're doing the 7/20 standard, you're limiting yourself quite a lot since most players around wouldn't be able to get that, but that's your choice :P.

Jerrythabest Jun 11, 2007 04:10 AM

7 points over two duels is EASY. Just kill me 4 times in battle and deliver 3 flags and it's done ;p

Read the hidden message in post #1, noobz.

A big site update will come today. Patience is key.

And also, RR is NOT DEAD! What the (--------) did I create this thread for, then? Next time read MORE than only the first sentence XD

Oh, and Emp... Did you know 'dood' is Dutch for dead? If not, you know now: you said he'll die ;p ;p

Not now it isn't, but if something is revived/reactivated it would imply it was dead during all those times you were complaining that it wasn't.

Jerrythabest Jun 11, 2007 09:13 AM

Inactive is still different than dead. But enaugh about that, everyone stop shouting such things as this was meant to be a step forward.

Raven aka StL Jun 11, 2007 09:57 AM

It's more like an attempt to escape the depths of hell.

Grytolle Jun 11, 2007 10:02 AM

Yes, enaugh, Wallace >(

Jerrythabest Jun 11, 2007 10:32 AM

=l

Now I don't get it anymore. It's enough, right? ;p

Anyway, I can't finish the site update today as school's still taking a lot of time. I'll have far more time in about two weeks ;p

Heretic Bunny Jun 11, 2007 12:16 PM

It was inactive? Well at least I don't feel bad for being inactive myself now. So, how and when can I do the tryout thing anyways?

Jerrythabest Jun 11, 2007 01:22 PM

Yeah, there was like zero public server activity... though I played some private games
Hmm do I got your MSN here somewhere? ;p that'll help a lot arranging your tryout. There's a test week coming in two weeks and halfway the test week I'm quickly getting far more time, so I could try you out then, or any time after that (though I'm gone to the sunny south (;p) for two weeks in mid July) =)

Shouldn't of put that "was" in it.

Just kidding...

Good luck in the future Jerry.

As I said a lot of people around might not be able to get that but good luck anyways.

Well, most people can... first it was a minimum of 10 points.. But then, when looking at the results, only one player couldn't join if I changed it to 7 points, so I did. It's really not that hard.

Chiyu Jun 12, 2007 02:32 AM

Welcome back RR..

Jerrythabest Jun 12, 2007 03:22 AM

Heh, thanks :) (also thanks to everyone who said good luck ;))

btw, update your sig Tom ;p

Grytolle Jun 12, 2007 03:29 AM

The sig doesn't need updating. The quote remains the same no matter what happens to your clan ;p

Jerrythabest Jun 12, 2007 05:31 AM

That's true... but IMO he should find a new quote ;p this one is outdated now

R3ptile Jun 13, 2007 02:23 AM

the jamster,
both you and your clan died
and later returned to life

Anubis Jun 13, 2007 04:04 AM

Welcome back :)

What does the jamster have to do with this again?
