Patch

I need a patch from overlord

It isnt on his site

I need it.
This patch/file is something
that you can open level's with an PW(PASSWORD) Contact me PLS

Trafton Jan 3, 2003 10:51 AM

First of all, welcome to the JCF. :)

There is a reason the patch is not on his site. It sort of defeats the point of passwords. While I'm sure that someone will give you the patch off the JCF, transferring programs like this over the JCF is never a good idea. In fact, transferring programs like this over anything is never a good idea, but especially the JCF.

Blackraptor Jan 3, 2003 10:53 AM

Patch/Bug

Ehm....

There is an BUG

Unssuported level file, level file version 2.03 this level cannot be loaded

2.03 is the CTF version on JCS

I cant open 2.03 WHY NOT?

Blackraptor Jan 3, 2003 01:06 PM

You misunderstood tecjcs

IT is used to open 1.23 passworded levels, because it was made for the 1.23 version. If you want something like this for TSF as well, i cant help you there......

FireBoy Jan 3, 2003 01:14 PM

Patch/Bug

Thxna!:

Yeah:D
:) :D   :O

Blackraptor Jan 3, 2003 01:16 PM

IT MEANS THAT THE LEVEL WAS MADE IN THE TSF JCS MEANING ITS IN TSF!!!!!!!!1

MoonBlazE Jan 3, 2003 01:34 PM

Please understand BlackRaptor, that this program only was spread to people that wouldn't abuse it and spread it too much.
Likely you'r giving it away to a "newbie" (not meant as offense, just that you'r new) that could open levels that shouldn't be opened and edited, I suggest you delete the patch yourself sinice you seen like not being able to control it.
Overlord dosen't have the patch himself because he didn't find it usefull somehow, and now it's only avilbe by spreading. This program is also a stupid releashe, sinice you should have right to protect your levels if you want it.

Blackraptor Jan 3, 2003 01:38 PM

I knew someone like mbwould come along and tell me not to do it..i had doubts about this in the first place, but i listened to my will, im not going to do that next time.

Blackraptor Jan 3, 2003 01:40 PM

Oh, and incase you were wondering, i NEVER edit others levels'. I only use the patch to hack into levels to see how they were made, so i can learn from them, but i do NOT edit. Thanks for making my life worse now

FireBoy Jan 3, 2003 03:28 PM

Patch

I dont edit lvl's i needed this my old lvl PASSWORD was forgotten:'(

So...
I dont edit lvl's anda i can learn from them to like walk under water and stuff

Super Saiyan Jan 3, 2003 03:40 PM

You don't need to crack levels to learn stuff, 'bout the walking under water, you can learn that at Overlord's site. And might as well other things. And if you want to learn even more just read the whole JCS Help file.

There.

Chiyu Jan 3, 2003 03:55 PM

TECJCS wasn't by Overlord, I doubt that he even ever was in TEC. I believe Overlord's JCS patch was called Overlord.exe.

MoonBlazE Jan 3, 2003 05:15 PM

No CB, it was called Jcspatch.exe, :P.

FireBoy Jan 4, 2003 02:25 AM

Patch

No...I remember
Overlord maded an patch with the name Overlord

PS:Moonblaze do you have msn? I wanna have a cool picture
Something like you have

Add me to MSN

Cpp Jan 4, 2003 02:02 PM

Actually I first uploaded the cracked JCS for 1.23 on my site named Overlord.exe. Then I later removed it and uploaded the anti-password patches for 1.23 and TSF jcs which were also removed due to demand of the community. I am now also against spreading this program even tho I sometimes find it useful.

That TEC jcs is probably mine but was just renamed.

Stijn Jan 5, 2003 02:41 AM

MoonBlaze, I recall having Fireboy in my MSN list 2 years ago and I also saw him playing JJ2 back then. So he's not a newbie.

MoonBlazE Jan 5, 2003 02:52 AM

Ah, okay Flash. However, the patch should still not be spread to evryone. I'm with Overlord.

FireBoy Jan 5, 2003 03:06 AM

I am sorry for this trouble i needed an patch cus my own lvl
Name
CowWorld
I am looking for it and if i found it i need the Password but i dont know him anny more thats my big problem

FireBoy Jan 5, 2003 03:15 AM

O my god my message dont come on here WHY NOT?

Red_XIII Jan 5, 2003 03:58 AM

RFF

I hate to say this, even though you were here 2 years ago, you're **** new.

why?

People who ask for overlord's patch is a newbie. Levels called CowWorld just begin to suggest this.

"2.03 is the CTF version on JCS"

no?

"O my god my message dont come on here WHY NOT?"

You scare me.

Please.. don't send these Bjarni clones anything partly, or whatever illegal. FFS, he asked how to make a tileset and when its in the JCS help.

Please. don't.

FireBoy Jan 5, 2003 04:57 AM

hahaha yeah i am new on this SITE!
:D but my lvl i am searching it

Taz Jan 5, 2003 05:02 AM

1. I have it, but i won't send because it isn't legal :p
2. Why you need it..?

FireBoy Jan 5, 2003 05:08 AM

Well my lvl a cow lvl
Has locked with an password and i need this patch to open the lvl and delete the password

Why do they call me an noob?

Stijn Jan 5, 2003 07:14 AM

Because you sound like one. Posting 3 message in a row, bad grammar and not using comma's or periods looks stupid :P

On-topic: You may try hex-editing. Some bits in the level (.j2l) file contain the password, try to change them ;) altough I have no idea how :P.

You could always send the level to someone else to remove the password for you.

Flash, please don't teach people how to crack.

Stijn Jan 5, 2003 08:14 AM

I am not teaching them how to crack, because I have no idea HOW to do it. I just know you can do it :)

FireBoy Jan 5, 2003 10:52 AM

And i need the tileset

I will supply the tileset if I have it. I will need the tileset name and your email address.

Stijn Jan 5, 2003 11:22 AM

He probably means Udderly Insane, by Ice Wolf, if it's a cow level :P

Feline Jan 5, 2003 11:33 AM

Does this program display the password that the file was using? Or does it just open it?

P.S. I don't see why anyone would want to open a file anyway. The only reason I could see me doing it is if I forgot my password.

FireBoy Jan 5, 2003 11:45 AM

Doesnt matter the program what I mean is that it just opens the level

FireBoy Jan 5, 2003 11:47 AM

Udderly Insane, by Ice Wolf

And my emai

Yeah and i losted my password:( :O

MoonBlazE Jan 5, 2003 12:44 PM

First of all, don't make 3 post after eachother. Next, it's spelled lost, not losted. Sorry. ;-P

Shen Jan 5, 2003 12:48 PM

Why do you password your levels anyway? I don't see the point.
