It appears only the ones on the tops of the piles and the ones we're holding are pies. The rest seem to be muffins. A muffin in the face... a lot less dramatic.

To mean Batty IS a talking, it'd have to say"Batty's a talking rash"- It says"Batty's talking rash" which means that he is taling rash. Not that I knew what'rash' means anyways.^^;
