I was able find them all except a good

Dekstar conversion
Bloxnious conversion
and
Fanoloint Conversion

can you help?

Violet CLM Feb 26, 2004 09:05 PM

Decksta: The best conversion of this is in NeW's Mayhem, but it's not all that good.
Bloxonius: http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads...hp?levelid=309
There's a Fanolint conversion somewhere, but it's not all that good either, and I'm not sure it's even on J2O.

There was a Fanolint conversion, by IceWolf, I think. But it was bad. :(:(:(

Enigma Feb 27, 2004 11:14 AM

I have the Fanolint one, but it's not that good. There aren't even any animated tiles for the fans.

Dark_rhyhorn Feb 27, 2004 01:45 PM

someone has to make good fanoloint conversion

now can you find me a good dekstar?

Flamepanther Feb 27, 2004 03:33 PM

It's a shame that the Fanolint lens effects would be impossible to convert.

That's what I tell people whenever they want me to convert it.

DoubleGJ Feb 28, 2004 06:14 AM

Same goes for transparent crystals in Crysilis. And look, we have a quite good conversion.

Dark_rhyhorn Feb 28, 2004 12:46 PM

what lens effects are you talking about? and why are they so importent? I mean someone could just convert it without the lens effect.

not that I'm asking you guys to it. But I did sort of want to have it to use someday.

Flamepanther Feb 28, 2004 06:10 PM

There are lenses in the scenery of Fanolint that magnify and/or warp the background pattern that scrolls behind them. They're a main component of the Fanolint "look", so they're defnately important. Without the lenses, you've just got yellow blocks and fans, with a few odd-looking plants here and there.

Dark_rhyhorn Feb 28, 2004 07:58 PM

I don't remember seeing that can post a screen shot?

Violet CLM Feb 28, 2004 10:49 PM

The Crysilli conversion looks good at first glance, but it's got a whole lot of flaws. :(

Dark_rhyhorn Feb 29, 2004 09:25 AM

well I think that fanoloint should get a good conversion anyways. Even if can't be perfect.

So make one. Plz. If it's possible, though.

Flamepanther Feb 29, 2004 03:23 PM

Why not try your hand at converting it yourself? It's easier than drawing a set from scratch, but it's still a lot of work to just beg someone for.

Dark_rhyhorn Feb 29, 2004 09:15 PM

I might try it this summer.

Flamepanther Mar 1, 2004 03:32 PM

Then I wish you luck :)

Making a tileset isn't easy, but it can be very rewarding. Let us know if you run into palette trouble or something. Since Fanolint shouldn't be using any textured backgrounds or water, that makes it a lot easier.

DoubleGJ Mar 3, 2004 01:43 PM

I repeat that for over 3 months.

Dark_rhyhorn Mar 4, 2004 11:21 PM

Can someone PM me the really bad fanoloint conversion?
I would like have it anyways just to complete my collection.
