Some of my latest pics :)

Her original design was as a video game heroine. She could kick yer butt! =P

I got a balancing stick. Is it helping? :p

And one that will end up in someone's hidden closet Toca shrine...

This last one is very high resolution, because I wanted it so if someone wanted to color it, they can go ahead. Its saved as a Gif image, and there's no anti-aliasing, so there would be no trouble coloring it in paint or something. :)

Throw the holy hand grenade!

Fawriel Mar 16, 2004 09:57 AM

TOCA! *squeeze* ^^

MoonBlazE Mar 16, 2004 10:08 AM

This is really unfair. How to come artists worse than myself never post? I miss the feeling of overthrowing them. Stop being so good, Hare.

Fawriel Mar 16, 2004 10:14 AM

I know your pain.. but I can't help you! AHAHAAHAHAHAH! *explodes*

Sorry. Xb

Coppertop Mar 16, 2004 11:24 AM

I've figured out what looks odd about your characters' standing poses, Hare. They always look like they're braced for an impact, like their knees are locked or something, which gives the impression that they're off balance.

If I'm wrong, you may hit me. *is smacked by a trout*

Batty Buddy Mar 16, 2004 01:05 PM

Que Passa!!!!

I shall color it like I colored that panda at the zoo seconds before they arrested me...
(Pulls out crayons and gets to work.)

Well, OBVIOUSLY someone's not paying attention when I post things, Moonblaze. :-)

I rather like the second pic, Hare. I'm generally keen to somewhat casual clothing and such. As Nemesis will attest to. :-)

I might give a shot at coloring that pic you've got there. Once I've got time and I can wrap my head around Toca's color scheme properly and such. Though it WILL wind up looking like my webcomic's simplistic celshade coloring style...

Shamelessplug D=
Though I must point out, in today's comic, the speech bubbles are kind of confusing, the way they go all over the place across the two panels.

Sun Fun Dude Mar 16, 2004 08:39 PM

Really nice work there. I like the first and third ones.

Fawriel Mar 17, 2004 10:11 AM

I just noticed...
Toca's pants seem a little.. thin, don't they? =P

Well... no. No, they don't. :-)

They're not particularly loose, but they look about right.

Hare Mar 18, 2004 03:18 AM

Yeah, they are just made of an elastic material.

Fawriel Mar 18, 2004 09:56 AM

..if you say so. o_0

Captain Spam Mar 18, 2004 10:45 AM

I dunno, I didn't think anything wrong about it when I first saw it. Hey, Hare, how about drawing Toca with outrageously baggy pants? :-)

Hare Mar 19, 2004 02:32 AM

Hey, yeah, that could be prety cool. And sorry if the shorts look too tight, it wasn't intentinal. I was just trying to get the folds in the clothes to look like they are actually bending and stuff.

Hare Mar 21, 2004 06:26 PM

Just droppin' off another one I whipped up...

You see, my drawing tablet is poor quality and adds suckyness to my work. I drew one picture that turned out sucky (with the tablet), then I decided I'd make one with the mouse, which of course looks better :)

Kinda funny. I feel as tired as she looks.

Fawriel Mar 22, 2004 10:30 AM

..she looks kind of masculine there, doesn't she? *looks at it a little more, pondering*

Coppertop Mar 22, 2004 12:13 PM

Lack of eyelashes.

Fawriel Mar 22, 2004 12:17 PM

D'aw. No. I'm not that simpleminded. XP
It has something to do with the shape, but I can't put my finger on it.

Xion Mar 22, 2004 01:44 PM

It's an extremely wide nose/mouth area. She looks a bit more masculine since her mouth is bigger and she can take a bigger CHOMP out of you...

...I'm stretching it here.

Coppertop Mar 23, 2004 12:36 PM

Yeah, well, I can't tell either. Something vague.
