Music problems
I'm making a level based on a Genesis game, and to get the music as close to the original as possible, I have downloaded the .gym files, which are the exact files from inside the game used to play the music, and I was wondering if there was a possible way to convert them into a music format Jazz 2 can read. The GYM2MID program I have reduces the quality greatly and I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to make the music less...sucky.

I'm sorry I can't answer your question. But ask a man named Alberto. He's the music expert of the community. BTW, I hope you don't have Windows XP.
I say that only if you can't use ModPlug Tracker to do this conversion... |
I'd say your best bet is to check whether or not someone has already converted the tune you need to a module (MOD/S3M/XM/IT). Google is your friend...
I've yet to come over a converter from GYM/VGM to mod myself. So if no one has done it before you're best off trying to create it yourself. |
BTW, welcome to the forums.
