Need Help Trying to Disable Something

The thing that I circled in black. Anyone know how to disable it?

It's never happened to me. What kind of weird Windows hacks are you using? O.o

Use Tweak UI to get rid of it.

General > Settings > uncheck "Show Windows version on desktop" > Apply > OK

Then reboot computer.

What did you do to get it there in the first place?

You can do it without Tweak UI.

Open regedit by going to Start > Run... and type regedit in the box.

Open up the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop in the left pane.

Double click PaintDesktopVersion in the right pane.

Change Value Data from 1 to 0. Click OK.

Restart the computer.

Thanks, thanks all. Anyone know how to now uninstall an old TweakUI. I still have the Windows 98 version on my computer. Anyone know how to uninstall it?
