Any such patch?

I'm looking for a JJ2 v1.22 to 1.23 upgrade patch. I know there's a patch for 1.20 and 1.21 to 1.23, but as of yet I've not heard of a 1.22 patch. Is there any patch of the sort, and if so how do I get access to it?

OMGTHXESYO.

As far as I'm aware, the patch that does 1.20 and 1.21 to 1.23 also does 1.22 to 1.23

You may have to remove remnants of 1.23 from the registry to be able to apply the 1.23 patch again.

I think I have version 1.22 also, and It's patchable.

No dice. Both times that it's been attempted to be applied, it says that JJ2's already been updated, and the patch isn't required.

Thus.

You need to go into the registry and delete 1.23 folders that you have laying around from a previous installation probably. If you need help figuring out what/how to remove contact me through my email, ICQ, private message, or on #jj2. I'm guessing that if you remove the 1.23 settings for list servers and user data the patch will be able to apply itself. Here are a few simple directions:

Go start->run type regedit
Remove HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Epic MegaGames\Jazz Jackrabbit 2\1.23
Remove HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Epic MegaGames\Jazz Jackrabbit 2\1.23

You will need to reapply the list server patch after doing this as well as the 1.23 patch.

Good luck.

By list server patch, you mean the .reg file one can find on J2O, right? Or did I miss a listserver patch executable?

The .reg file.

Okay, good.

Is there any specifically big changes to that procedure if one is running XP?
