White Rabbit Mar 12, 2005 02:33 AM

FOOOOOOOOOOOS. AND THEY DIDN'T COUNT MY VOTE?!!??!?!?

Nielsje Mar 12, 2005 02:45 AM

There were enough votes, but it was cancelled because the game apparently isn't active enough on Multi-player.

No, JJ2 doesn't count as "pro-gaming" for the Clanbase crew.

White Rabbit Mar 12, 2005 02:49 AM

If we somehow managed to make it active again, would they consider a re-vote?

Answer: JJ3!!! :p

Tubz Mar 12, 2005 10:04 AM

How "active" does the game have to be to be considered active...?

blurredd Mar 12, 2005 11:43 AM

Not "active" is just a different way of saying not enough votes, because I doubt they came to that conclusion in any other way. But I think the ladder was doomed to fail anyway. Just look at Soldat which also was closed, and it had almost three times as many votes as JJ2. They claimed it "is not a really competitive game," which IMO they could easily apply to JJ2 if they wanted to be spiteful.

If you ask me, I say it's just as well. This community has enough resources to create its own tournaments and whatnot, and not having a spot on ClanBase isn't a big deal. But I admit it would've been cool if ClanBase accepted JJ2.

Bah, but soldat really should be given a ladder, those guys have a community at leas the size of UT99...

Soldat isn't pro-gaming. :)

I hope they are going to add a WH40K:DoW ladder as soon as possible, though.

Tubz Mar 12, 2005 12:27 PM

I don't even know what soldat is. I feel like download "America's Army" or whatever It's called now, yay It's free, lol.

[GpW]Urbs Mar 12, 2005 12:33 PM

soldat is a 2d sidescroller. Quite fun actually, also free.
Definetly worth downloading.

Olsen Mar 12, 2005 12:40 PM

Agreed with Urbs

Enemy Territory is free, has a bigger community (at least in Europe) and way better. :-)
